Nice Hotel, Great Atmosphere, Happy staff and friendly. I had a fish and chips with salad. Was presented well in a quick time and was very nice tasting fish,chips and salad. Will be happy to return.

The ATTIC BAR located at WesternStar HotelDubbo is a bit of a hidden gem. Had a fab time there last night and when they start making Bloody Mary’s I’ll been there new best friend. I tried 5 different cocktails🍹 and they were all so yummy 🤤. Next time you’re at the ⭐️ pop up and sample a few you won’t be disappointed. It’s a cool spot with a good vibe it’s got a few lounges around in separate areas and open spaces for dancing for partying and a beautiful balcony where if you happen to smoke you can. I often part to take a schooners or two in the main bar which is the only bar left where you are able to sit at in Dubbo.

The best feed I ever had worth every cent for $14 bucks for steak Diane chips and salad the best pub feed I have ever had in Dubbo absolutely worth it and the service is great 😁 highly recommend 100%

Order the Tradie T-bone steak - with mash, chips and veg. It's worth more than what you pay for.

I had Crumb Cutlets. ..but orded salad & chips..and i got a plate of raw carrots in gravy with half raw chips they were cold as well and one of the cutlets was all fat & gristle...never going back as it was not worth the $27 ...my husbands meal was steak & veg ..steak was ok but he got raw carrots 3peas & raw collie flower & corn on the cob no potato. ..the meals were so inconsistent as the other was cutlets mash potato & peas all was cold and not cooked....the 3 meals cost over $78 .not very impressed at all.

Sloppy order taking, kids meals brought out 10 minutes after the adults, and only after we had been back to the counter three times. Overcooked fish, raw batter on the dagwood dog. Dirty ashtrays on the table when we arrived. Why is there ashtrays in a non smoking area. Not impressed.

I need 10 stars to rate these guys!!!! held our wedding reception here on the weekend and have to say we were extremely happy with the venue. A huge thank you to Kylie and Cookie for all your help, the wonderful bar staff and the Chef for the most amazing plough/grazing table!!! Our guest from afar were extremely impressed, so if you are looking for a venue for a wedding call in and speak with these guys... cheers Tony and Linda Roche xxxx

Had the monday mixed grill was great the steak was to thin a small but thick steak wood be a 10 bar staff was great all friendly kids play area has to be looked at it is not safe would go all the time but the kids get hurt

We celebrated our daughters wedding here a little over a week ago and could not fault anything the service was outstanding as was the food the staff were very professional we would highly recommend holding any event here we could not be happier and are so glad we chose The Western Star. Thank you to all who were involved

Had dinner Thursday night, pleasantly surprised with the specials. We really enjoyed the food, the staff were really polite and we would reccommend it to all.

Loved the food. We were in Dubbo for 9 days and ate here 3 nights and did not leave hungry. I loved how the veggies were steamed so they still had crunch. The chicken schnitzel was huge and the steaks tender. Beer prices were great too.

I had my wedding reception at the star almost two weeks ago I could not fault the place the staff venue food was AMAZING. I had plenty of time to set up so there was no stress and they done everything they could to help. I was dreading the cleaning up the next morning as I was fairly hungover but when I got there it was all done EVERYTHING all bagged up and packed up ready for me to load in the car. I highly recommend the western star for an event big or small. I will be using u guys again for sure. Thank u so much for making my day run so smoothly.

Great meals and reasonably priced. Staff are very helpful and friendly with a great relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed our night so much we will be visiting again very soon!
