Review Garden Hotel Bistro - Dubbo

I was there for a function just the other night and had a wonderful time. The people hosting the event put on nibble food but everything that came out was very nice. As far as a venue goes it’s great with a large beer garden area and a stage for live music. The acoustic sound was awesome so I’ll always go back for any live music shows. It’s also got a great kids playground and large indoor bars and dining areas. Just had a fabulous time and a night to remember.

Review is for hotel stay. We had a private double room with bathroom. The bad: The room is very bare and it even had a hole in the wall. The walls and windows need paint, the carpet seemed very dirty, not great cleaning. There is nowhere to hang your clothes or put anything down. The good: They have a communal kitchen outside the room with a microwave and sink and tiny fridge. Good parking. The bar / restaurant downstairs seems great with lots to do but we didn’t try it. For the price I would pay a few bucks extra and stay elsewhere.

I’m from suburban Sydney and all I can say is wowza. The staff , the food , the establishment, but most importantly the accommodation, my bed was so comfy especially after a long day, my hot meal then bonus shower, I can’t thank you enough for my stay and food. Definitely will be back for the in the near future that’s for sure , keep up the good work, you are all fabulous

My favourite pub in Dubbo. Can't go wrong with any of the food here. Atmosphere is great and staff are friendly and professional. Outdoor bands and ticketed events aren't overpriced. Get in some great talent and it makes for an epic night. Really don't need to leave there for any other spot in Dubbo.

Good pub grub. Singapore noodles were great as was the fisherman's basket my wife had. Few flies about in the outdoor area but probably par for the course in Dubbo.

Stayed the night so decided to order a meal and drink in bar. Feeling unwell and in a lot of pain. Staff could not have been more disinterested and unhelpful. Disappointing. Room very clean and comfortable.

The Garden Hotel is an ace establishment, the staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a bright modern well run venue. Food is fantastic and loads of restraunt spaces. Accomodation is spotlessly clean and more than comfortable for budget accomodation. Secure carparking. I would recommend the Garden Motel Dubbo for travellers looking to stay a few nights in Dubbo. Affordable and great value for $$$

Great meals. 10 beers on tap and good range of drinks. Large outdoor area for entertainment. Family friendly

We had another fantastic Sunday here with the kids! Great music once again and the food was great !! The kids ask every Saturday can we go to the garden on Sunday !!This is a great place for kids and for parents to relax and listen to great music and eat great food !! Good job guys �

Worse dining experience. We were there for a birthday party and an early fathers day. We ordered before our whole family. Everyone was served before us. Even the people next to us got their food. We even had to remind them after and hour that we were waiting. Finally our buzzer goes off. Not only did they stuff up the meal the plating was beyond a joke. It was slapped together quickly and very messy. The steak was cheap piece of meat that also came with a garnish of hair. I asked for salad with it, so i got chips and a table spoon worth of salad on my plate. We told them at the kitchen about the stuff up. I looked over to my daughters dish. She had a snitzel with mash. 1 table spoon of mash. Its beyond a joke. So myself, my partner and my daughter didnt get to eat with our family. Thanks to bunnings we enjoyed a lovely sausage sizzle. At least all our order there was served to us on time and hot without hair as a garnish.

Enjoyed my dinner n cold beer on Saturday night after a hard day at work. The place is looking great n the staff are awesome too n the manager who has the time to stop n have a quick chat with u, thanx guys

Awesome transformation!! Great place to go now for lunch or dinner with the family!! Excellent service from Grant & the bar staff plus the kitchen!! Thumbs up!

Great food, great service, well priced too. The facilities are excellent and the kids play area is awesome. Went there for lunch and had a great time, looks like an awesome place to watch live bands too with an amazing outdoor area undercover. Will be going back.

Worst dining experience. Food bad after waiting over an hour (even 1 hr for kids meals) last Wednesday night & starving, couldn't bring myself to eat it. Dried snitzel & a processed chicken Kiev, �. Would halve got a better meal across the road at Aldi.

Lovely pub, lots of room for kids to run around, good drink selection and a reasonably priced menu

Went to garden unannounced with 25+ work mates,Friday lunch ,As well as us there was a heap of other customers queuing for a feed the service was great and the food was fantastic ordered,ate and back to work in under 1 hour thanks to the garden staff We'll be back���

Best chilled Sunday afternoon.. Was a lovely surprise to have a free chips and dip plate for everyone who was there to listen the awesome live music by Haleigh Hing as well.

Great food, their pork ribs should be a permanent menu item. Great beer (love Kent Old on tap!).

My grandmother in-laws wake was held here yesterday. Great location, service and snacks, however the meals were pretty poor for the prices, others that I've spoken to who had dinner on the night felt the same. For a classy pub it's sad that there meals don't live up to the settings.
