Hearty italian food! The veal parmigiana was deliciously stacked with cheese and lovely sauce! I didnt enjoy the marinara pasta as the pasta was wayyyyy too overcooked & far from al dante! I recommend scarfos for super cheap and home style italian eats!

Scarfos Scarfos Scarfos! So this place makes some of the best traditional trustworthy tasty pizza in Sydney. You can tell they haven't changed a single ingredient since they opened which is good. They stick with tradition here. You won't find fancy green looking swirls of truffle coated confit tiger prawn stuffed soufflé duck topping here. Just great pizza.
Now the formalities are out of the way let's get to the prickly part.
What would you wait for your favourite pizza? 40? 50? 60? minutes? How about um 160 minutes?
Well if you come to this local establishment in a busy period take your pick you could be waiting up to and above any of those lengths of time. It's a bit of a lottery here. If you are fortunate enough to get your order shoved in front of the 14 people waiting before you then you are winning. But if you are one of the unfortunate aforementioned souls be prepared to have a lengthy viral video binging sesh on Instagram while you find out where you placed in the lottery.
At Scarfos the system is the system. Like I said they don't change. So even though you have been sitting waiting for 75 minutes reading the 25 year old clipping on the wall about some fencing dude that made the Olympics and the people that ordered 15 minutes after you did just got their name called, well that's the system. Never change my lovely Scarfos that's what makes you Scarfos.
For years, these guys (Anna & Joe) have provided succulent pizzas, delicious pastas and fabulous service, in great portions. All at a great price. My kids won't go anywhere else on their birthdays. Thank you for years of good wholesome food and service.
Have been going to Scarfos for years now, great family friendly restaurant that is extremely affordable. Great service, waitress is always friendly and remembers you. The food is amazing!!!
i have been going here for over 5 years. it's honestly my favourite pizza and the pasta is also pretty good. I have brought pretty much every friend/family member here and they have all been satisfied. The service is quick and friendly and so so affordable!!
I am in LOVE with this resteraunt. I've been eating there for probably around 7 years. I've introduced my friends, family and everyone in between to this place and I've never been disappointed. the prices are so affordable and service is quick! BEST PIZZAS IN SYDNEY.
Bang for your buck!. Best pizza in the area. Come here before you go to Crust or any franchise place... the prices are just as good as those places but you're getting a better product. Make sure you get in early though. You can always tell a good restaurant by how busy/popular it is.
Fantastic authentically dodgy italian. If you want simple yet delicious with absolutely no frills, sweet (albeit stressed) wait staff and authentic, yelling italian chefs, this is the place for you. My fav pizza in Sydney by far- byo, decent service in my experience, delicious cheesy pizza and pasta, gelato/icecream and milkshakes. I adore this little family run, simple restaurant. If you've got your fancy pants on this isn't going to be your scene, but if you're unpretentious you shall reap the pizza rewards.

This isn't a flash fine dining restaurant.. It's simple, cheap and delicious pizza! Expect friendly service in what seems to be a family run business! You will never want pizza from a common franchise again!
Best freaking pizza in Dulwich Hill!. Why would you bother with Crust when this awesome little joint exists on Wardell Rd? Have a feeling that if I moved out of the area, I would still travel to get my pizzas here. Scarfo, don't ever close on me.

Great value for money and large portions. The pizzas are delicious and are made the old school way with normal ingredients. Staff were friendly and my order was ready on time. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
One of the best pizza & pasta places I have EVER been to. Top quality ingredients & pizza base is ideal thickness & cooked to perfection, wow! The gnocchi was the best I’ve ever tasted also. Also Recommend their garlic bread with cheese added. Very nice people running the restaurant. Top stuff!! You must give Scarfo a try.
Amazing place. Went there on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. Food was wonderful and the service felt like being served by a family member. Loved it!
Tasty delicious and we'll priced....10/10 Authentic style Italian pizza. Very friendly staff.... None of this mayo or Perri sauce on pizzas that seems to be the new norm. Old school. Congratulations and all the best on your re-opening night.
Love to give this small family-run business the shout out it deserves, and don't mind going old school, be ready to pay with some cash. Great staff members, they're so friendly, you may hear they can talk a little slick, but they sure look after you with wonderful service. I enjoyed my penne boscaiola and dulwich hill delight pizza for dinner. It's a shame I didn't produce a picture or two, I wad hungry and devoured it before I could give the food it's time to shine. 5/5 Scarfo Family Pizza Restaurant, well done!🥇✨️
The general feeling was a comfortable family atmosphere. The staff did a great job considering they had two fairly large groups in as well as other diners. It's a little noisy when crowded but the food was great. Would visit again.
