Amazing food and great service! Best Vietnamese in Dulwich Hill! Serving size is amazing and so much variety! Can’t stop coming back! The pho is amazing the the prices are super reasonable! If you’re in Sydney, you HAVE to give this place a try!
We always come back for their pho. Their other dishes are super delicious too. Good portions and authentic. The staff are always accommodating and friendly.
Super friendly staff, great food and a reasonable price!!! I was a return customer when I lived in Dulwich Hill, sad I no longer live nearby!
Delicious fooooood!!!! Loved the place. Would highly recommend. Friendly staff. A little different from other viet food ive tried. Give it a shot
Near my house, I've been a lot of time there, ia expensive but the taste of the food was really good, all the soup that they do simply amazing! Lovely staff and fast service! Love it
I wanted ramen but that happening in 2 sleeps. It was windy. We couldn't eat inside because of Cobalt. Pho is on the diet under better choices. My partner had the ba ba ba, which I am assuming is the fosters of Vietnam. We started with the rice paper rolls. They seemed expensive but tasty. The beef pho was tasty but not as large as I would have liked.
We've had takeout from Minh a number of times as well as sitting in to eat once. We've mostly ordered from the vegetarian section of the menu, but everything we have tried has been super yummy and fresh. When we sat in we were the only customers but had lovely service. We'll definitely keep coming back.
I recommend the battered aubergine, it's delish!
Minh is a nice restaurant if you want Vietnamese cuisine in a slightly more upmarket setting, without paying exorbitant prices. I came here a few weeks ago, for the second time. My friend only eats one noodle dish here (hu tieu kho dac biet), but everything we tried was good. That being said, hu tieu kho dac biet (vermicelli noodles in tomato based broth) is a clear winner. The pho is nice too, but there are other restaurants nearby also serving this and the quality and taste is about the same.
We had banh xeo as well, which was nice, but I found it a little bit plain.
Had take away from here. Had there pork chop rice with pork patty and (both were small in size but that's maybe because we got) sugar cane prawn with it,it was all nice. There mixed entree is unusual which includes spring rolls,prawn/chicken salad and pork patty. All good here. The ambience was not your usual Vietnamese noodle place but rather looking more like fine dining. Prices are reasonable and service, well the food take a while to come out. Better than expected
Minh Vietnamese Restaurant is located in Dulwich Hill. We drive past this restaurant almost every day (and night). There was a warm and homey greeting when we entered the restaurant.
The beef bonfire (Quanh Lửa Hồng) was a pleasant surprise when dining at Minh. Minh is also famous for its Noodle in Tomato Sauce
Awesome Pho, as good as any I've found in Marrickville. Had a bunch of other stuff and it's all been top notch. Some kind of excellent cold pork spring roll thing, Amazing.
Authentic Vietnamese. Ever been to Vietnam? The food is delicious-fresh, balanced, a mix of complex flavours-all in all yummy! Well Minh at Dulwich Hill is as close as I've been able to find in Sydney to my Ho Chi Minh experience.
The approach is a casual dining experience. Sit indoors or out. No need to book, unless you are a big group. Have a quick meal, or make an evening of it. Whatever suits you.
We started with Beetle leaves served with a delicious dipping sauce. (That's my favourite dish at this restaurant.) Also Thai style fish cakes and shredded pork rice paper rolls. Our mains included salt and pepper squid, Minh's special chicken curry, Lamb cutlets in tamarind, some vegetables, rice and noodles. The squid and Minh's curry were outstanding. The tamarind sauce on the cutlets was somewhat heavy handed.
Complimentary fruit refreshed our palette. Six of us ate for $120 including tip and corkage.
Great food, friendly service. Great Vietnamese food! Been meaning to go here since we moved into the area, and after our positive experiences last night this is definitely my new favourite local. Entrees were delicious and bursting with a myriad of flavours. Minh make the best spring rolls and are by far the best I've ever eaten. Beef and betel leaf was simply stunning, and the prawn sugar cane is delightful.
All the mains were just as impressive. Goat curry, ginger duck, satay prawns and steam boat soup were as equally as good and so delicious. Staff are friendly, efficient and they work extra hard to create an enjoyable dining experience. Well done Minh, we'll definitely be back.
This is my local quick bite. Green fish curry is our fav! Sitting outside in summer is great!
Reasonably Priced Vietnamese. Went there a few days back with my partner & another mate - we've been there a few times before & it didn't disappoint. The food was good (although we think that Miss Saigon in Balmain does a better Banh Xeo - sort of a prawn & pork omelette), but no big deal. The entrees were well-portioned & tasty; the mains were equally scrumptious with appropriate levels of spice & (chilli) heat - the delicate Vietnamese flavours came through on all dishes. BYO with service that was pleasant & friendly.
First time there and very impressive. I am a huge fan of Pho Vietnamese food. Use to good another place near by but wanted to try some places different. I checked on Google reviews and this place looking good. So give a try and it is better than I thought. Pho and spring rolls are so delicious. Friendly staff. I would give they too 3 of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants in Sydney.
Good place for Vietnamese food outside the west (Cabra and Canley). The pho broth was decent, but I was a disappointed that my special was more like a regular pho as it lacked generous amounts of meatballs and tripe. The fried chicken with rice was delicious.
Customer Service is friendly. It's worth noting that the restaurant is incredibly warm inside, which isn't great when you're eating hot soup noodles.
Flavorful and authentic bun bo hue. The soup has a strong shrimp paste taste and is a little spicy. Comes with beef brisket, pig blood jelly, pork hock and Vietnam sausage. Highly recommend it if you want an authentic bun bo hue!
Really delicious! Definitely the spot for pho/Vietnamese in Marrickville.
We got pho, spring rolls, and viet iced coffees and they were all so good 😌.
The staff were also really friendly :))
Will be back to try more of the dishes :))
PS the photo doesn’t really do it justice.
My mum makes the best home cooked Vietnamese food so I always compare restaurant dishes to hers. This place is pretty up there and the service is friendly too. Would definitely come back. Thank you! :)
I love this place. The taste is pretty good as in Vietnam. I come here every time I am homesick.
This dish is special dish broken rice with grilled pork with sunny egg (cơm tấm sườn bì chả trứng). They make it very nice like Vietnamese style and the fish sauce especially for the dish as well. It helps my homesick a lot. I also tried Pho in this place and I was amazed at their broth. This restaurant may look old but the taste is very Vietnamese and very good.
