Super friendly staff, amazing food and super fast service!!!... what more could you ask for???
Absolutely delicious!! I'll definitely be back. Photos on the menus would be really helpful though...
Great variety of desserts, just need images on your Menu's..
Delish!!!! Servings were huge! I'm glad I shared it with my daughter!
I love it. Great experience

How AMAZING are Tella Balls! Not only do they look spectacular, they taste spectacular too! They are literally works of art and when you taste one, they are truly Divine with a capital ‘D’!. Our deliciously scrumptious Tella ball was covered in a chocoholics dream, Nutella, Ferrero Rocher and so much more!
The crepe itself was one of the best crepes I’ve had. It wasn’t soggy even though it was drenched in chocolate. The shake has Nutella clumps inside. Definitely a go to place for chocolate lovers
Calling all CHOCOLATE fanatics! If you have a sweet tooth and are a chocolathic and dessert fanatic, look no further than Tella Balls! They do everything from crepes, waffles, freak shakes and of course, those famous TELLA BALLS (donuts) filled with an array of mouthwatering flavours. I tried a selection of their desserts including their new Nutella-pie ( yes, a pie with Nutella!) and also their new malteaser donut. A great spot for dessert!
Note: I dined as a guest of Tella Balls.
$10 for this tellabab beauty!
This place is heavenly with lots of unique options I’d like to try. Friendly staff and will be revisiting in the future
Visited tella balls in Queensland quickly while killing time before a flight and was blown away. First place i went to back in Sydney was Dulwich Hill. The servings are definately big enough to share and just absolutely mouth watering 😍 so glad i found this place!
Most definetely overdosed on chocolate here the other weekend. These guys dont go light on the nutella and I was most definitely drowning in nutella heaven. Would recommend SHARING!
Decent dessert bar with a good range of options but wasn’t the best I’ve had. I ordered the tella shakes and crepe and the crepe itself was good but the donut on top of the shake was cold and stale. Service was okay but due to the business we were squished in to the point we had to ask the people next to us actually move their tables and chairs so we could get out. Food is average but if you’re a Nutella fan you should check it out.
Busy place on weekends with very quick service. Ordered the Tella Balls Shake that came with a Nutella Donut on top. The shake tasted great however the signature Tella Ball was disappointing as it didn't taste fresh and was very dry-not sure if it was homemade or not! The Nutella Lasagna on the other hand tasted so good!
They offer a range of Tella balls in a variety of flavours but some of them are rather deceptive with just an additional topping (e.g. M&Ms) and you get charged a higher price tag. I tried their gaytime ball, which had a caramel filling but sadly lacked the signature crunchy biscuit texture. Doughnut itself was light and fluffy - just as you would expect a donut to be like.
This place gets rather busy on Saturday night so come early to get a table. There is indoor and outdoor seating but it's fairly cramped inside.
Not much of a sweet tooth but this place was fun and exciting. The menu is different and is a must for any sweet tooth in need of a sugar hit. Few issues with the machines they used, but staff were very apologetic. So thumbs up for the customer service
Great dessert options. Always fresh and tasty. Been here a couple times now and have yet been disappointed. Atmosphere is always pumping and awesome.
This is my second visit to the Dulwich Hill shop. It's like entering dessert heaven and it took me about 15 minutes to decide as there's quite a big list of options.
I had to order the famous Tellaballs milkshake which comes with a Nutella filled donut ball on top of Nutella milkshake. I was not as heavy as I thought it'd be and good degree of sweetness. The Nutella soft serve comes in a donut cone but maybe the weather was too hot, but the icecream melted everywhere and I had to eat this off a plate. The red velvet pancakes is quite huge and I would suggest sharing this one! I added a side of fresh strawberries and really enjoyed it.
What a brilliant concept !! The choices were mind blowing , the portions were well worth paying for and the dishes were so delicious and definitely satisfying!!
This place is an absolute must 😉
Hadn't tried out this tella balls store before, but was very pleased when I finally got around to it last night. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, and it was very clean (which is always a good sign). We ordered the waffle burger which was INSANE... it was MASSIVE and we were very impressed! We also had the bueno waffle with extra bueno & extra chocolate. Between the two of us we didn't even make a dent in the desserts even after feeling like we ate sooo much! Everything was DELICIOUS! The waffles were fluffy on the inside, and perfectly textured on the outside. The chocolate complimented it beautifully too. Would definitely return!
Decided to come here one night to satisfy my sweet tooth, and it was definitely satisfied !! For me though, it was a bit too sweet (too much to handle) - but I think it's good for dessert if you come on an empty stomach !!
🌟 came here on a Saturday night, so it was VERY packed, had to wait 20 minutes for a table, so keep that in mind !
🌟 ordered two "tella balls milkshakes", the donut was very dry, but the milkshake was very refreshing ☺️
🌟 ordered the "kinder bueno crepes" and I definitely recommend crepes because it's a sweet and lighter dessert to the pancakes/waffles. There was an abundance in chocolate, which reminded me of my childhood !! Really good, would recommend to share 🙂
🌟 ordered the "fruity crepes" which was good because the fruit was a nice break from all the chocolate ☺️
Overall, a decent dessert eat which will satisfy your sweet tooth !!
Been here a few times. Love their waffles.. got the kinder bueno one the last time as pictured . Did not disappoint! Had the pastella the timebefore that ...sorry to say it looked better than it tasted . The crepe was a bit hard... although everything else is great. Definitely the place to go for those with a sweet tooth! Prompt service..
So I finally decided to jump on board the 'Tella Balls craze'. Ordered their famous Tella Balls shake that came with the Nutella Donut on top, has to be one of the best dessert things I have tried so far!! This place is kind of romantic at night with its ambience, featuring heaters on a cold night. Service was great, the enthusiastic guy at the front really makes the experience. I think Tella Balls has really made this area where I've been living in for sooo long, a much more popular place. Keep up the effort guys!
Unbelievably Good Deserts!!!
Had the waffles with Nutella Ice ream....YUM...YUM...YUM
They have a great selection, only problem is deciding what to order.
This is Nutella Heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went here for a late night snack with the girls and we were able to get our chocolate fix. We got there quite late but yet it was still buzzing and had to wait for a table. But the host at the front was very accommodating and ensured we will get a table in no time. We got the chocolate lasagne and the golden lasagne as well as the original tella ball slider and all 3 were delicious! These guys definitely know how to hit the mark with their deserts specially with all the gooeyness of their nutella or caramel sauce. This is only my second time here but I'll definitely be back again that's for sure.
Ordered the signature tella pancakes w/ a tella ball and Nutella ice cream, the fruity crepe, and the kinder Bueno crepes. The pancakes were so fresh and fluffy, and the crepes were so good too. Nutella ice cream was ok, the tella ball was a bit disappointing as it was dry and no Nutella inside. I have to say, I thought this place would be sickening but surprisingly it wasn't at all. Very generous amount of toppings, so it's 100% worth the price. Would recommend for any nutella lover 😻
We had visited the new store at Concord but we finally made it to the original at Dulwich Hill to try Tellaballs’ hottest new dessert. The Tellafish is a dessert take on fish and chips! Not only does it look exactly like the classic it tastes absolutely delicious. The vanilla bean ice cream and golden panko crumb is a heavenly combination and you will not be able to stop eating the crunchy donut chips with Nutella and white chocolate dipping sauce. The store was a buzz on the weekend with friendly staff finding customers spare tables wherever they could! A perfect spot to visit for a post meal treat.
Yassssss this place is everything!! This is the world of Nutella. You can have donuts, desserts, shakes, ice cream burgers, waffles, pancakes, oh the list goes on. I had one of their famous tella ball shakes which was killer. Then a donut ice cream burger swimming in chocolate. And an absolute mammoth of pancakes, dripping in Nutella and a field of strawberries. You will be full. Prepare your body.

The Tella Ball Craze that struck Sydney almost 2 years ago is still very popular today but does seem to be fading slightly. The guys at Tella Ball Dessert Bar are still making delicious donuts filled with Nutella but they are also making a whole range of other desserts now.
The shakes are good on their own, but with the tella ball on top it makes the whole experience very heavy and to be honest, unenjoyable. On our visit there we had the Ferrero Roche Ice cream stuffed between 2 cronut buns, drenched in Nutella, it was downright yum but downright too much as well. If you have a mega sweet tooth it may be enjoyable. If you’re not overly keen on so much chocolate you can also have a waffle or a crepe or even just a simple ice cream scoop. They have it all!
The staff are great but the prices are quite high for single items, the experience once was fun but we are yet to be repeat customers unfortunately.
Today myself and 7 friends ventured off to Tella Balls Dulwich Hill and OH MY GOD what a day! The service was absolutly impeccable with all servers being extremely accommodating of 8 young teenage girls walking in and extremely excited (this was us). I spoke to the owner for a while and once i sat down the server came up to us handing out free fererro rochers saying “the owner wanted me to give you these”. The owner and staff were absolutely brilliant! Then came time to ordering and dear lord, what an exciting yet challenging decision because EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERYTHING LOOKED YUM AND SOUNDED DELICIOUS!!!!!!! Whilst trying to decide our “main meal” we ordered “entree” where we got 3 Tella Balls. 1st being the original, 2nd being the lamington and 3rd being the MNMs and OMG each being soft, yummy and extremly decadent!!!! We still hadn’t made our minds up so after finishing the Tella Balls, we odered “2nds” in which we got the red velvet cake. OMG seeming as red velvet is one of my favourite cakes i was in heaven and there was a glass of mini nutella flowing onto the top of the cake! it was superb. Then we decided and ordered! i odered the Fererro Rocher pancakes which was 2 buttermilk stacked pancakes, NUTELLA, Fererro Rocher, NUTELLA, Vanilla bean ice cream and have i already said NUTELLA? The pancakes were swimming in Nutella and omg it was amazing! My friends got all different types of pancakes and the Tella Ball shakes! I cannot fault anything from this cafe and will definitly be returning! Thankyou so so so much Tella Balls. I love you
The place to get your cheat day fix, Been here multiple times for coffee catch ups and chocolate cravings. Service is surprisingly quick and the trademark tella ball hasn't disappointed so far.
This is too good to be true. Imagine doughnut as a cone, dipped in melted chocolate, served in the most delicious, mouth-watering Nutella soft serve. Ginormous portion, you can make a meal out of it.
The nutella soft serve in a donut, half covered with nutella was pretty good. $7, the lady poured alot which is even better. The soft serve isn't too sweet although the donut cone was too dry and a bit bland. Next time i think ill go for waffle cone or cup. Friendly service but their location is meh.
There has been a lot of hype around this place, which I'm sure other reviews have said, but the ambience is quite nice, but yet feels a bit formal. I opted for some gelato, and a chocolate filled doughnut, which was nice, but a bit sub-par. Would recommend this place if you are in the area.
Took the whole fambam for a sweet treat & weren't disappointed. The nutella donuts was fresh and it was yummo!
Big servings too!
Atmosphere was fresh, the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Those from the I Quit Sugar camp should give this place a wide berth as you're likely to get a sugar high by simply walking past the front entrance. However, if Nutella is your thing then a pilgrimage to this dessert bar is definitely in order.
Resplendent with all things Nutella, you'll find donuts, pancakes, cronuts, eclairs, shakes and even pasta lathered with the famous chocolate hazelnut spread.
We took the less is more approach and went with a cronut and classic Tella ball shake. Sweet!
Tried this place the other day with two friends. We all enjoyed ourselves and loved the desserts. Good value for money, I had the waffle art and it looked amazing and tasted amazing too.
Advice to first timers don't order too much because everything is so sweet it's hard to finish all of it. I had one waffle and could only finish half of it.
It was surprising to see how over staffed that restaurant was, which was great. It's a shame that it closes at 11pm and doesn't stay open any longer.
Overall great experience 👍🏽
The buzz around Tella Balls is real – wander inside past the crowds milling outside this bustling Dulwich Hill dessert bar and you’ll find cronuts in all sorts of flavours, their wittily named gelat-dough and plenty of their famous Tella Balls of course. On first glance, it’s easy to see that Tella Balls have really taken desserts to a whole new level – it’s a little like stumbling into a more stylish, contemporary take on Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory with their staff hard at work creating these sweet treats behind the counter.
Can definitely see what the hype is. $10 for their infamous Tell Ball Shake, tastes exactly like a ferror rocher just a shame that the tella ball itself wasn't warm enough. The tella soft serve was yummy but unfortunately the "cone" was too hard to eat. We thought it was made out of dough, felt like a waste cause we couldn't finish it.
A hit and miss with this place really, but the service is efficient and friendly.
One of the few dessert places that I actually reviewed in my food blog. Tella Balls Dessert Bar was opened at the beginning of this year and so far I have never seen a shortage of customers on weekends. It is only one of a few dessert-only places in Inner West and… to make it rarer… they also open until quite late at night!
I had just eaten a big meal at Zeus next door. I had been hearing about this place for a long time and had been meaning to visit. This is the type of place you put on weight just walking through the door. They have crazy icecream, milk shakes, sweet kebabs, doughnuts with nutella fllilling and many other options. They also have a range of cakes available. A great spot for a coffee and to get your sweet fix on.

Great novelty experience encompassing a fun and warm atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent desserts.
Walking into Tella Balls, I couldn't help but be grateful when spotting a set of tables to fit our group. For a Monday night it was busy, but they had enough staff on to be quite attentive. We were quickly seated, provided with menus and instructed on how to place orders.
We spent about 10 minutes salivating over extensive sugary menu before settling on our multiple choices. I wish I was pre-warned as the prices seemed way to low for the portion sizes. Each plate could easily have been shared by another 2 people.
There was a clear sense of novelty and awe as the food arrived at the table. Waffles were thick and crispy. Pancakes stacked high. Ice cream rich and creamy. Each plate beautifully presented. Almost a crime to take a bite.
My first time there but definitely not my last.
I have never been somewhere that smells so naughty! The air is drenched in calories, heavy with sugar. The menu is vast and I had no idea that Nutella could be used in so many ways! Gelato, soft serve, cronuts, cakes with syringes, deserts, Churros bowls...it never ends. Tella Balls is famous for their milkshakes but we opted to eat in and have a plated dessert. My boyfriend had the original Tella ball which was served with vanilla bean gelato which he said cut through the richness really nicely. I had the Tella ball slider - a Tella ball cut in half with gelato sandwiched between the halves and then drenched in Nutella sauce and chocolate flakes sprinkled on top. Delicious. I was pretty impressed by how nicely they plated up! We really enjoyed our desserts however the donuts were only lukewarm which was a little disappointing. I can understand mine being lukewarm when it has ice cream inside it but my boyfriend's should have been hot. It's a really dingy eating area and be warned as they are packed!! I recommend Tella Balls for the experience and I would definitely go back if I was in the area, but I wouldn't battle to the inner west especially.
Nutella heaven!! This place has more chocolate that the Easter Bunny!
Gets busy so you may need to wait for a table but definitely worth the time waiting to drool over their desserts.
Note: Don't get the Nutella Lasagna, you will be disappointed.

I didnt have the time to indulge for long but I did manage to grab their signature Nutella donut to go. And OMG... there is perhaps half a jar of Nutella in this bomb... its so thick & decadent you need a strong coffee to wash it down with. It is so rich, so moorish but soooo addictive. No wonder there is such a huge following. I cant wait to come back with time, an empty tummy, loosen my jeans & order.
If you nutella lover come to here. The tella shake so good, its really suit when you consume on hot day it really refresh. The waffle also crunchy you can share with you friends.
Tella Balls Dessert Bar has been causing a commotion in the blogger community since its inception and for good reason... because NUTELLA. Unfortunately it is not in the most desirable location, if you are travelling by public transport it can be a pain to visit!. The store was crawling with customers with even more waiting outside for a table. You can see it must be getting some decent reviews for business to be booming so much.

Although still a good Nutella experience I can't help but few it falls short of big brother.
Deserts have been hyped up and driver in leaps and bounds but it's in the milk shakes I fee they've dropped the ball big time. It feels more milk and syrup then real Icecream.
Still worth the visit though
Tella Balls Dessert Bar transplants that viral tella balls shake from FCE and relocates and amplifies the viral dessert joint as they transition from Erskineville to Dulwich Hill. Housed under another spankingly new apartment complex, Nutella fan? Love your Donuts? Love sugar? This is your Dessert heaven.
This place is insane! In a good way.I had been notified of this place from someone I follow on instagram, so I decided I would try it when I visited Sydney over the Easter weekend.Staying in Edgecliff, I made my way out to Lewisham station and walked from there. It was fairly quiet until I rounded the bend where the store is and heard and saw the crowds. This was Easter Sunday. A lot of families. Everyone seemed very happy, even the people waiting to be seated.I ordered the waffle burger and a banana thickshake. WARNING! The waffle burger is no small serve. I highly recommend sharing. I however was there alone. I managed to get to struggletown as I finished the last few amazingly tasty mouthfuls. I could only get half way through my shake though. Nothing to do with the taste, just the lack of room left in me.The food here is amazing but the staff is all very well trained and efficient. You'd not know they've only been open a month or so. Credit to the owners, Aki & Simon. I had a small chat with these two friendly blokes. I had to let them know how good a place this was in person. There is nothing that can stop me from returning next time I'm back on the East Coast!
The place to go for dessert! Nutella on everything!
I had the Nutella waffle and Tella ball milkshake. It was delicious! When the waffle came to the table, I was surprised by how big it was. Never been to a dessert restaurant that offers large waffles.
The quantity of the dessert is definitely worth its price!
Amazing Nutella balls. So generous with the Nutella, yum. A lot of staff standing around doing nothing while I wait ages for my take away. Hmmm. Would also suggest having a 'how to make a drink' instruction sheets so the iced drinks are the same all the time. Have seen lots of different versions of the same drink. Today's one was all cream very little milk.
The perfect spot for Nutella and choc-oholics!
Wait times: on Saturday around 1pm, not bad at all; Sunday at 3pm, on the other hand... still not too bad compared to some places, around ten minutes for a table and seven minutes or so for your food to arrive.
Food: the pancakes are delicious, whereas the waffles are a tad dry. The vanilla bean gelato really lets the rest of the dish down, unfortunately. The strawberries taste fresh, and of course, the Nutella drizzled on top of everything is heavenly.
My recommendation: Nutella milkshake with or without a Tella Ball on top, Tella Trella pancakes (two buttermilk pancakes with Nutella, vanilla bean gelato, strawberries and banana)!
The tella ball shake was amazing! It was really rich, couldn't have had a dessert with the shake. The shake comes with a donut on top filled with gooey nutella. The service was really quick despite the place being packed.
This place is nutella heaven! Love it! The down side is that it was a little bit confusing when you want to order gelato as they have a different line, when you order the waffles or crepes you have to take the receipt to the dessert bar, and you have to ask someone to open the fridge up for you to grab the gelat-dough. I would assume the person taking your order would go to the fridge with you and hand you the item instead of having to ask for it. Overall, service is average and taste is as expected

It is good because they sell every dessert under the sun and it is a bonus that most have nutella in them but I think because they have so many desserts the quality of each is not as high. For example, the donut cone with nutella and nutella softserve- the cone is not very fresh tasting and the softserve is not an ideal texture. Regardless, it is really a dessert lovers dream shop, no matter what you feel like, they got it!!!
Sydney's first ever Nutella-themed dessert bar has opened in Dulwich Hill.
Do you remember those milkshakes that took the internet by storm? The ones with nutella doughnuts on top? Well, Aki Daikos and Simon Kappatos, the creators of THAT famous milkshake, called the Tella Ball Shake have just opened up the next best thing. A whole restaurant dedicated to desserts. LOTS AND LOTS OF DESSERTS.
Do: the waffles, the crepes or the shakes.
Don't: limit yourself to just the donuts and/or cronuts. You can have that to takeaway.
Tip: line up for takeaway is on the left. If you want a table, seek out Aki or Simon, the great owners of Tella. Really nice blokes that run a great operation.
First time here and first time trying their famous tella balls. Was super packed when arriving, but we put our names on the list and the wait for 2 was less than 5 mins.
Tella ball was great, as well as the vanilla bean gelato. Coconut added on top was yummy. Bf had the belgian waffles and vanilla thickshake. Waffles were ok but thickshake wasn't that thick and had more of a milkshake consistency.
Staff are efficient and food comes out quick. Will be back again soon!
NUTELLA CRAZY!! Sparked from the insane obsession for tella balls, the guys have opened their own dessert bar! It's a cute little takeaway filled with the sweetest treats. From the signature tella balls to 'geladough', cronuts, cakes, gelato, pancakes and tonnes more!! If you're craving a little sweetness, this is the place to be!
