My new fav bakery in da hood, so many good thangs in there, I’ll definitely be a regular
I’m really sad that I’m moving out of Dulwich Hill next weekend and this bakery just opened! I just had the prosciutto and asparagus roll and oh my lord I’m in heaven! I’ll definitely be making the trek for weekend treats so I can try everything else

The most mouth watering bread, pastries and coffee!
Love this joint. Friendly service and everything is tasty AF!
Amazing. Coffee great, sausage rolls greater
I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and every single one of the items are DELICIOUS! Desserts are not overly sweet which is great. The eclairs are just exquisite and their savoury items are really worth trying too. Staff is always super friendly. So happy to have this neighbourhood gem.
Baked fresh daily with changing menus each week. The pastry for the mushroom and lentil pie was very flaky and buttery. You can taste the mushroom and lentil filling in the very first bite. I also highly recommend their croissants.
Quaint bakery in Marrickville road in Dulwich Hill. There are a small amount of seating in front of the store but most people would get food to go.
They have a few different pies and sausage rolls. We tried the beef pie and lentil and mushroom pie. The beef pie was tasty. If you're a vegetation the lentil and mushroom pie is really delicious. Tomate sauce is also complimentary.
We got chocolate eclair for dessert and it was perfect end to a delicious lunch
Wow, Dulwich Hill is better for this place. It’s a truebakery - the shopfront looks directly onto the action - with friendly and efficient service. Out of trying about a dozen different almond croissants (including Zumbo and Brickfields) theirs is the best in my opinion. Sausage roll was good and the canele are crisp and delicious. Highly recommended.
This little hole in the wall is filled to the brim with deliciousness. It may be small but there are lots of goodies on offer and the queue is long with those in the know. There is a cabinet of classic cakes including a dense carrot cake and rich chocolate mousse cake. Then there are the freshly baked French pastries and breads. Bread is delicious. Pastries are omg and one of the best I have had in recent times and took me back to France. The croissants are super flakey and light. The almond croissant has good flavour, not soggy or overly rich and just perfect. The canele is such a special little parcel of joy and filled with a runny custard centre. The brioche with custard is so good as are the pizzettes. Everything is utterly delicious, addictive and served with warmth and smiles.
Step inside the small boulangerie/patisserie and inhale the buttery goodness. Beautiful pastries and breads adorn the shelves and display counter; Baked by Keiran may be renowned for their sourdough but the glossy lemon tart, old school lamingtons and the less common French classic, canele will surely have you salivating. The lemon tart is perfectly tart, with a velvety finish set off by a lovely short pastry. The canele has that distinctive caramelised crust and fragrant custard centre. Well worth a trip to Dulwich Hill for, but get there early to avoid disappointment as they do sell out of items.
In Short: Baked by Keiran are doing great things from a small space in Dulwich Hill. Come here for their sourdough, but you will be sure to depart with a lot more! Our tip, grab Keiran’s Lamington, just an outstanding take on a classic Australian treat. On a quiet Sunday, thoughts turned to the week ahead. We had just rolled out from a cafe after lunch with my dad, yet I did not want to retreat home. Anyone who knows me, knows that sitting at home and not doing much is really not my thing. Initial thoughts had me guiding the car towards Surry Hills, but then the “light bulb” moment in the form of a message from fellow Coco & Viner Sonia, just a week or so earlier, suddenly came flooding back. Change in plans; we were now heading to Baked By Keiran in Dulwich Hill.
If I lived any closer to this bakery I suspect it would be very dangerous for my waistline. So many freshly baked temptations on display in this small shop front space with its larger kitchen space behind pumping out the baked goodies. I'm suspecting one simply does not buy one thing when visiting this inner west boulangerie/patisserie. Croissant ($4) was nice with a good texture. I tend to prefer the ones that are a bit more softer and buttery though these days. Portuguese tart ($2.90) was nice with the flavour more on the eggy side. Keiran's Lamington ($6.90) is the one to watch out for. So moist and yummy richly flavoured with chocolate soaked through. One of the better lamingtons I've had in Sydney. Vanilla Slice ($5.90) had excellent pastry and a nice filling although you won't find that top layer of icing for the extra sugar hit. Chocolate eclair ($6.90) is generously filled in a good eclair casing and sure to be a crowd pleaser. Staff were friendly even when tending to bedazzled customers spoilt for choice. Looking like a great addition to the bakery scene in Sydney which I'm sure will please the locals and draw its fans from afar. Definitely more than just the short supply of 72 hour sourdough which sells out way too fast. Next visit I have my eye on the citrus poppy cake, carrot cake, danish and savoury epi plus also keen to try a sausage roll and meat pie. Bring it on!
Amazing little patisserie. Everything looked delicious but just tried a croissant this time and it was very good. Will be back to try some of the other pastries, pies and sausage rolls.
I had the rhubarb tart. It's alright in my opinion. Their sourdough is very popular, lots of customers came about an hour before closing time and it's already sold out.
Delightful pastries and hearty bread loaves made by a talented and friendly chefs.
I highly recommend a visit to see what the well-deserved fuss is about.
