Unacceptable service. Went for lunch with family today, pretty quiet at the restaurant. Placed an order and waited for half an hour at our table yet not a single staff came to check on us. Great Thursday night meal, enjoying the half cray special which came with a choice of any meal. I had the duo of crispy fish soft tacos. Both the cray and the tacos were delicious and the other meals were fabulous too. We couldn't fault the service from the young team, thanks for a lovely night.
Table booked for 7.30 pm. At 8.00 pm had to ask someone to take our drinks order. This didn’t arrive for another 1/2 hr after asking staff where our drinks were. My meal was very nice, I chose the salmon. My husband ordered beef and Guinness pie which came on chips and gravy but no broccoli as state
Took 1 hour for our meal to arrive, I had the fish and chips and it was pretty bad. It was like the oil wasn’t right temperature or old? My daughter couldn’t eat hers either. I’d expect better for pub meal. Give it a miss…
We booked my husbands 50th in the Bistro Function Area for 50 people last weekend.
We were so super impressed with the facilities and service and had the best time!
The room and adjoining outdoor courtyard were perfect, the platters were beautifully presented and delicious and the staff were extreme
Applies to the restaurant only: After arriving at an empty restaurant to eat at 8.30pm on a Friday with a booking for 15, we were told to hurry up and order as the kitchen staff want to close! Red flag already. Presented with a menu with little selection, we questioned if it was the pub menu. Nope.
