Review Wok In A Box - Duncraig

Great experience as usual, good service and food was cooked in a timely manner and was delicious. Highly recommend.

Absolutely terrible, love wok in a box but this franchise location is the worst in Perth! Always, without fail gets my order wrong, ask for noodles and get rice, every bloody time, they even wrote noodles on the box! Always say the order will be ready at a set time, you go there and it takes an additional 20 minutes without fail. Get it together guys this is beyond a joke at this point. I want my noooodles!

I've had so many issues with the Duncraig wokinabox over the years. From incorrectly filled orders ( beef instead of chicken, to non existent orders (ie. I turned up to find the order that I made had not been made and they only started when I arrived.. ) . I keep giving them another chance.. I'm afraid tonight was their last chance. Firstly it was impossible to find an online option to create your own meal(which they have done in the past and do have on the board at the shop) Secondly, I waited an hour(originally supposed to be 30 minutes online, then it mounted up and said it should be ready to collect at 6:57). Arrived to collect... Wait another 10 minutes.. which turned into 15... Then 20... No apology, no reasons offered. That's the last time I'll get wokinabox.. oh I see they've changed their name too.. wonder why. Cya.

Getting really tired of ordering online and told ready at a set time and arriving to restaurant to find they haven’t even started cooking. First couple of times would give benefit of doubt as busy but currently 20 minutes past order pick up and not yet started

What a joke this franchise is... I ordered through #ubereats/@ubereats and I’m honestly beginning to get really annoyed with this service. Uber Eats obviously can’t control the incompetence of the restaurant staff and/or managers - but the amount of orders we receive that are incorrect beggars belief. Back to Wokinabox - I called to enquire as to my missing items and was told by “Walter” that all items were included as per order so he couldn’t help me. He told me he packed it personally and everything was there - clearly not the case as otherwise why would I be calling. I’m pretty sure he was trying to blame the driver, who was nothing but wonderful. Walter took no responsibility at all for the missing items and basically said there was nothing he could do. So I asked to speak to the manager “Mey” who then proceeded to tell me that she had personally packed the order and everything was there... 🤔 so who was it exactly who “personally packed” the order...? Just doesn’t add up... then looking at the notes they’ve written on one of the bowls - they actually haven’t got it at all correct, perhaps they can’t read the order information that comes from Uber... I did receive two sweet and sour dipping sauces, but only one lot of spring rolls. Just general lack of attention to detail. I certainly received appalling customer service when I called, and I would suggest perhaps some kind of course or training for staff on what it meant to work in the hospitality and service industry. Learning to accept responsibility, rather than averting blame might be beneficial to the business. It may not seem like a big thing, but this is the first time we have ordered Asian food for our children after their interest had been peaked after watching the “Take Away” episode of Bluey. I stupidly made the choice to order from Wokinabox because I thought their menu would be more appropriate for the littles. I specifically ordered two orders of spring rolls and a side of three fortune cookies (amongst other items totally nearly $70) because I have three children, and Bluey and her sister get fortune cookies after waiting for spring rolls after the restaurant had forgotten (ironic much?). It was a new cuisine for my children to try and if it had gone well we would have been placing many more an order with Wokinabox. Unfortunately the staff at the restaurant tonight completely underestimated the value of good customer service and I will never re-order from here again, or any other Wokinabox again. And upon a bit of research it would appear as though my opinions are not unique. I used to order from Wokinabox Vic Park so often several years ago and it was always amazing. It seems as though quality food and customer service are no longer seen as important to this business. I used to work in the service industry and the first thing I was taught was to never underestimate a sale. You have no idea of a persons background, of their status or influence. If you mess up that first impression, it’s gone and you can never get it back. And you best believe that I will be telling most everyone I know about my experience.

Quality control is lacking, had honey soy noodles once and they were amazing, ordered 2 more times after and it was less than subpar. The 2nd time ordering I received the wrong dish, the 3rd time the chicken tasted old.

Great service. Good food. We go back regularly. Happy to recommend for quick, but still nice, noodle or rice dishes.

This place has been consistently terrible each time i've ordered. I keep hoping it'll get better but it hasn't. Dinner from them tonight consisted of burnt and cold katsu chicken and cold rice. I had paid extra for more chicken which I didn't receive either. Just avoid this place, it's obvious they don't give a damn about the quality of the food. I won't be ordering from them again.

Not bad but not fantastic. Plenty of other Asian restaurants in the area to order from. Quite bland tasting food, noodles undercooked.

Not that bad!. Been there couple of times, on and off the noodles you order there can be quite oily and slimy, but I have to say their spring rolls and dim sum is quite nice! not a bad place to get the food takeaway for every now and then

No Good. I think they have changed hands, went there last week and it was gross...Satay Beef Noodles. The 'chef' cooked all the sauce out of it so it was a gluttonous mess of noodles pressed together.
Woke up sick as a dog the next day and the thought of eating my beloved noodles now turns my stomach .
Damn you Wok in the Box Duncraig!!!!!
