Great little spot with good coffee and delicious jaffles. Friendly staff and great location with plenty of parking, tables and playground for the kids. No EFTPOS so make sure you bring cash.

What an amazing place! They don't have park canteens like this anymore. Beautiful spot by the cooks river. If you have time do walk up the river and enjoy the park. There is also play equipment around for kids. The Canteen itself has a simple menu and is great for a break after a stroll/bike ride.

One of the great things about living in Earlwood is this little canteen by the river. They serve great coffee and a decent range of simple home made meals. We had a kids birthday party there and they went to a lot of trouble to make it work. Highly recommended. .
Love this place. It's a hidden gem. Had the reuben on quinoa jaffle. Huge and very tasty. Finally found a place that makes a decent long black with a really good crema. Sold dirty food dropped on floor! I was there on a sunday, i saw the lady drop a whole tray of pastries on the floor then sell them to people. When i said to her you shouldn't do that, she said "its none of your business!". Stay away people if you don't want your family to have food poisoning. Rude
saw the sign on the path and stopped here with my cycle group for a coffee and ended up having lunch. cuban sandwich and a nutella crepe. yum. great coffee and lovely service. take away cafe but park benches to sit. playground and bbqs for a family visit and a beautifule location by the river
