Review Numero Uno Cafe - East Fremantle

8 of us went to Numero Uno last night and had a lovely meal, they were short staffed due to Covid, but it was not noticeable and the standard of food and service was excellent. 4 of our group have birthdays in July and over the last few years we have been coming to Numero Uno to celebrate and it has now become a tradition which we hope to continue for a long time to come.

Recently enjoyed a yummy Dinner with Friends. We all enjoyed our Entrees & Main courses. Good size serves and reasonably price. BYO Highly recommend a visit

Sitting at the same table as Eileen . Don't know what she was smoking . I thought it was good honest Italian food. Maybe a bit on the expensive side. Staff was friendly , but how do you know? They had to smile through their masks. Bravo!

Despite dramas with COVID they managed to fit us in! Lovely quality and authentic italian food! Best south of river after being a long time melb boy -0 good to come back home and get some great italian food! try the proscuitto , fig n gorgonzola... luv it!!

They have normally tasty food. I am not sure if they change their chef because we were there for dinner last week. It was so dissapointed time. Food was average. My octopus with salad was too salty then my risoto di mare was salty too. My husband asked for squids but they brought prawns. Then he asked for pork and they brought a piece of fatty pork (80% fat and 20% meat). He didn't eat it. The bread was not fresh. We don't enjoy it. Music is beautiful. Today was really good food!

Went there 4 a work Xmas dinner. Wonderful ambience n fantastic yummy food that all came out so quick n served very efficiently!!! Customer service was very good 2 with Linda returning my call so quickly n waitress was happy 2 put all our leftovers in doggy bags!! Loved it!!

Enjoyed a great night last night for Dad's 85th birthday. Thank you to Linda & Staff for looking after us. The food was excellent, service great. Thoroughly reccomend to anyone. Awesome italian cuisine.

Friday night, we decided to head to this Italian restaurant.&nbsp;<br/>I didn&#039;t know this restaurant is a BYO restaurant, but luckily the bottle shop is just around the corner.&nbsp;<br/>The waitress is pleasant; she welcomed us and showed us to our table.&nbsp;<br/>We ordered the zucchini flowers filled with ricotta lightly floured, and deep fried served with a reduced honey vinaigrette and sundried tomatoes.<br/>As for mains, we ordered Spaghetti Merlino, pasta with prawns, red emperor, whiting, scallops, white wine and fresh tomato pieces. The pasta is al dente, and the seafood serving is very generous.&nbsp;<br/>The second main we ordered the pan-fried beef fillet scaloppini in a cashew nut, cream and sweet marsala sauce served with potato bake and fried English spinach.&nbsp;<br/>My recommendation, I love the zucchini flower and also the spaghetti Merlino. I will come back again to try their pasta and risottos.&nbsp;<br/>After all the mains and entree we are so full. We didn&#039;t get to order any of their desserts.

Brilliant food, so tasty and a menu with plenty of options, either seafood, meat, pasta. Service was attentive and prompt. Coming back very soon.

The best authentic Italian food is for sure, Numero Uno! It has won us over, and we travel far and wide for Italian (even Italy)! This is the best!<br/>The food is how Nonna would make it, with all heart heart and soul. The service is down to earth and attentive, like we are part of the family! <br/>We already feel like part of the family. X

This restaurant is definitely not "Numero Uno" apart from its presumptuous branding, it is a poor representation of Italian food. The only thing that is truly number one is size of the bill - as the most expensive that is. <br/><br/>Don't bother with this place.

Dinner for three - We had the Duck with orange, the salmon and the King George Whiting, followed by coffee.  The service was average but you could see that the staff interacted well with customers they knew.  The food was good with the staff stating that some dishes were unavailable due to the lack of availability or quality on the fishing boats.  Enjoyed the food but would prefer more friendly staff.

First visit to restaurant.  Very busy for a Wednesday night.  Good service friendly staff.  We shared 3 entrees between 4.  Really good so far.  However the mains were so salty we could't eat them.  Such an extensive menu.  4 people had different dishes ranging from pasta to capretto.  All too salty.  Wasn't cheap either.

Ok. had a good night with our family but very average food & service. Main criticism - manager/owner seemed to take personal offence when asked for gluten free. I was made to feel once again to free like a Gluten Freak!!!

Shocking service average food expensive prices. Absolute worst service, girls are stuck up and rude and not helpful at all. Average food and not worth the prices. Would not come back again purely based on the service by the young girls.

Número uno is Italian for " Number One "this establishment is far from number one in terms of quality , service and value ...would not recommend

You cant go wrong here. Numero Uno serves up some of the best Italian food you could get in Perth. Real food done really well. Well done guys.

The best!!. As a youngster my family used to frequent Primavera restaurant on special occasions for some of the best food ever going around Perth/Freo. The Chef and his wife as it turns out own this restaurant and I had the pleasure of eating there 3 weeks ago. The service was extremeky homely and friendly, the food was deliscious. We had the red emperor involtini spaghetti, scallops, cuttlefish, whiting, and misto mare to share which was all number 1. For what we ordered we were surprised by value for money after we got our bill. Being Italian I am very picky. I'll definitely go back in a hurry.

Numero Zero. Oh Dear - we dined on the night after Valentines, we were the only table bar one larger group and the food and service was a shocker ... stacking chairs up before people have been ordered is arrogant ...it was an opportunity to excel - given a celebration for our group. Once a single customer sits down their impressions are potentially multiplied a thousand times and bad impressions go further than the other kind. Number One - it used to be - mid week forget it go elsewhere

Very flavorsome. I've been here a few times now with work colleagues. Food is fantastic every time. Last Friday I tried something new for me, Orecchiette pasta....it was like a party in my mouth! Seriously, I don't think I've had anything bad there. <br/>If I had to find a negative it would be that the pricing doesn't match the decor. <br/>The food and service is top notch. It's like going home to eat mamma's cooking.

Numero Uno. This is a wonderful restaurant - well priced and BYO - honest Italian food, great seafood and super nightly specials. Love the white linen cloths on the table. It's only located in a shopping centre but the food is excellent! Only problem - it's only open for dinner two nights a week - sometimes only one, if they have a catering job.
