Review Tradewinds Bar And Restaurant - East Fremantle

Great Service by Maria. The rest of the staff ...questionable. All reception area staff just standing around. I got ignored for a while but when the one girl started work (Maria?) all solved. Food was really good! Real house made choc sauce. Decent spicy wings... Pretty space. They need a few more $10 nibbles/tapas, for one to sit around and do work throughout the day... Other than that, rate it. Got some work done on my laptop. I'll come back if it keeps this vibe or improves....

I feel sorry for this place. The location and building has a great potential but I just had one of the most disappointing dining experiences of my life. Service was next to none, took 40 mins to have a burger and a steak. Paid 42$ for the smallest eye fillet ever which tasted like burnt coals.I'm actually upset I didn't have the guts to go ask for our money back. Obviously won't be back.

Friends trivia night was amazing, they have put a lot of effort creating personalised table names and menus, unfortunately the food was absolutely disappointing. I was charged 25 dollars for a sandwich new york style with ham and pickles that I could not even finish, 7,50 dollars for a pint of coke felt like a joke.

Terrible experience. We ordered a platter which half was missing. The waitress dropped the bread and pointed out where we could get plates and cutlery Chips were stone cold Chicken wings served with thick sour cream Bar staff spent more time speaking about their weekends instead of serving customers. This has happened twice now 1 star for the Swan Draught and river view

The Trade Winds was just wonderful. Seniors from Melville Cares enjoyed a child-size portion meal & desserts. Everyone ate everything. The service was excellent as was the environment. Thank you to the staff member who attended to us.

Just had a nice counter meal there. Plenty of space and shade. They are checking for covid safe required details. Can bring your four leg friend too. Great spot to have a beer and watch the world go by.

Had a really great meal and very tasty reds on a cool afternoon. Heaters on and AFL on. Definitely recommend.

I must take my camera, next time. We often go to the Tradewinds for dinner. The venue is great, very flexible - you can choose formal dining, casual, or bar-style. Oh - the location is stunning - views across the Swan River, past the old Traffic Bridge, to the Indian Ocean - or up river, to the Stirling Bridge. The menu caters for everyone - kids - snacks & light meals - dinner. Delightful desserts. The staff are charming. I was pleasantly surprised this evening, the waitress who took our orders remembered the lot, down to the last detail, without needing to write down any of it, and knew exactly what waas for which of us, when she served it to our table. That's professional service!

I’ve been a regular at the Tradewinds for many years but unfortunately on the last 2 occasions the food was extremely disappointing. It lacked seasoning and flavour. The staff taking orders misinformed us on the serving sizes causing us to order more serves when really 1 serve would of been enough. It is also a shame that wood fired pizzas are no longer on the menu. However the gentleman delivering the food was very obliging and professional. I don’t think we will be back!!

We stayed at the Tradewinds hotel last night and think it is a fantastic place. Staff are very friendly and attentive which is a quality I value highly with any business so hats off to you, keep up the amazing job! Room was beautiful, clean and comfortable and the food was lovely. Although I do recommend complimentary water in room for guests as $5 for a small bottle of water from room fridge is a bit steep. Overall, thanks for the wonderful stay :)

We love the Tradies and mostly the food is mostly ok but yesterday I ordered the steak sandwich and it was sooo disappointing it was made up of reheated meat always a downer for me and served with a shot glass of a tasteless oily substance I think it was suppose to be gravy!! Come on Tradewinds a great tasting steak sandwich is a must on the menu put some love into it.

We were there for one night would definitely recommend. We had a wonderful time had dinner and breakfast couldn't fault either, was delicious. Staff were all well presented and very professional polite and friendly. Room was fantastic with a great view. Only thing I would say is communication needed as each shift with new staff, we found didn't know what others had told us. This was not a major as staff reacted positively. Will definitely be back.

Was there for dinner on a weekday. Restaurant feels dated and lacking deco. Maybe it is under renovations. Food is mediocre. Ordered Grilled fish wings which is a bit on the burnt side. The pasta was tasteless. Steak Tartar is okay. Ordered Grilled chicken for my son and it was so overcooked/dry that the chicken was almost powdery.

I've never rated a restaurant on Facebook before but I was totally disgusted with the meal we just had there - $34 for the spatchcock which was by far the worst meal we have ever paid for. An absolute disgrace what was delivered on the plate and the manager had nothing to say when we gave feedback - we will not be back!!

I would like to thank the staff yesterday for the Mother's Day breakfast. It was the best I have ever been to in Perth, from start to finish the service and the food was amazing. You made my family feel so special and I thank you all for that. The gifts that were given to all the mothers were beautiful and a fabulous touch. I will be putting a review up on trip advisor as you all deserve it. Well done everyone at the Tradewinds it was fabulous.

Service slow, wait staff disinterested. Gave up waiting for someone to take drinks orders at the table and went through to the main bar to get them instead. Cheesesteak was dry. Ok kids menu.

Went to a 40th birthday in beer garden. Venue was great, beer was cold and food platters were awesome. Havent been to Tradie for years so it was a pleasant surprise. Will go back again soon and try the seafood platter for 2.

Had a lovely lunch today in the outside area. Great food and amazing view over the river. The young barman that served us in the outside bar was outstanding. Great service with a happy face and some friendly banter. So nice to have your expectations exceeded 😃

We would love to say how beautiful our wedding was held at Palm Room 30/10/2016, wonderful venue, food, and staff. We felt it was very personnel and loved the view at all times. Truly a Hidden Gem

Had our wedding here... I wish we never chose this place and paid a little more and done it elsewhere... I would never recommend this place, the wedding was a disaster because of their lack of organization...

Had a pretty average meal at the Tradie this time... We are regular attendees, often choosing this venue as a local, good outdoor eatery on a warm summer evening... Sadly, the restaurant has gone downhill since our last visit... The chips served with dinner summed it all up, really... They have gone from firm, hand-cut, yummy morsels of freshly double fried potato, to slim, soft, bordering on soggy, fries ... The rest of the four meals we ordered were average at best... Unbalanced in flavour, high on bread and sugary... Very disappointed...
