Review Billabongs Restaurant - East Maitland

My visit was to the amazing restaurant Bunga Raya. With a number of nearby quality places to dine, this is at least their equal. The food and its presentation are wonderful. Dining is comfortable and well fitted out. The staff are friendly and efficient. You deserve to able to experience as soon as you can.

I had lunch yesterday from the cafe, well it took half an hour to get the pork roast Which would already have been cooked in advance, my partner received his lunch in approximately 20 mins. After complaining I finally got my meal and it was cold, must have been sitting in the kitchen for quite some time. In saying that there were no other customers, had they had been busy I would have understood. Staff in the cafe need to learn people skills and a smile would be nice. I will never order from the cafe again was a big disappointment.

The shuttle pickup was great. Unfortunately the Chinese meal was not. They forgot my meal and when I got it 15 minutes after rest of table and it was not nice. The waiters/waitress were running around the restaurant, not at all adding to a relaxing environment. The band was so loud we could not hear each other talk, great if your at a night club but not while your attempting to have a meal with friends. Based on this experience I won't be back, but if your looking for a good loud band, dancing and drinks this would be your scene.

New resturant with smoked meat was great. Service was awesome, will be back again with the family. Missed 5 stars as the BBQ smoked brisket was a little dry.

Had Dinner at Griffins Cafe 147 tonight and the food was absolutely disgusting, we had dinner here two weeks ago and mine was horrible and my husband got a raw Chicken Schnitzel but we thought we would give them a chance. We will never eat here again!

Great club, won $10 on the pokies, excellent bar and food in the chinese restaurant was great. Decor, service was friendly and efficient. Educated about the local boxer from years gone by.... fascinating.

Haven't been here for while. And after tonights food from the cafe I am grateful for that. What sort of place stuffs up the basic chicken snitty. Totally disgusting.
