Review Cafe Quince - Eastgardens

Consistently, the best coffee you can get at Eastgardens. The fact that it stocks Campos is even better. Great range on beverages, cakes and also has a cook for hot meals. They do a really good breakfast that's got all of your favourites.

This is a popular cafe serving good coffee and served a lovely tumeric latte, tasty tea with a great brunch menu and a variety of baked goods, cakes and other refreshments. Excellent service and a great meeting spot at Westfield's, Eastgardens.

Food is really good, omelette is massive and rosti sweet potato is great too. However coffee is terrible (really sour) and they don't have high chairs for kids even though they're located right next to the play area so a lot of families would want to dine there. They are also cash only, which is pretty unusual for a cafe and inconvenient for some customers.

I usually love Quince Cafe - the staff are kind and friendly, but sometimes stressed with the amount of customers. Today I bought myself banana bread and when opening it I noticed a large piece of banana inside it. I’m happy with small bits of banana throughout the bread but this was inedible. When taking it back to the staff and asking if getting a new one was possible a man stopped me to rudely explain that “It’s Banana bread, they all have banana in them.” and proceeded to not help me. I’m upset as his attitude wasn’t appreciated and that I wasted $4-5 on something I didn’t eat. Waste of time

I have had the worst experience on the 13/03/19, when I purchased a chocolate profiterole cake for a birthday. When we sat down to eat, what we saw was disgusting. As you can see in the images attached, you can clearly see green mould throughout the ENTIRE cake. When we returned the cake, the service was despicable, as there was not even an apology issued for ruining someone's birthday. We will NEVER be returning to this café. I honestly, wouldn't even give it a one star rating. The service was appalling.

Quince cafe is beautifully decorated with great floral arangements and lighted very elegantly. Food is delicious and served generously with quick and thoughtful service. Enjoyed a tasty chicken shnitzel toasted and was left full with a smile improving my day. 5/5

Coffee is always good, and the toasted vegetarian sandwich on sourdough is good too.

Ordered a coffee and an ice chocolate
Coffee is so bad, bitter and burnt my tongue
And the worse ice choc I've ever tried, all chocolate stucks at the bottom, had to stir it several times because the bottom is super sweet and the top is just milk.

Just a takeaway coffee joint at Eastgardens Westfield, there's not too many good coffee shops there, mostly chain stores but this one is nice - has Don Campos coffee. I usually get an espresso there for the pre-netball wake-up! There's also sweets and treats which I didn't go for, and you can also get salads and quiche. Good coffee and to-go food.

I have had very good Campos coffee here in the past...but last few have been average. They seem to change baristas every 6 weeks. Nice macaroons.

Quince in Eastgardens is delicious especially the pear and raspberry bread and super coffee! The presentation and staff are amazing however the Quince cafe in Bondi Junction is completely different and a disappointment with the food substandard and the staff quiet rude!
