Really nice flavours in the raw beef pho, the portion sizes are great too. The lychee and mint shake was waaaaay too sweet but alright after I mixed in a glass of water. Service is average, great ambience, love the decorations.
Loving the whole menu. We came with relatives so i got to try many from the menus. The vermicelli salad is out of this world superb. Pho was great the soup was rich. Rice dishes looked interesting too. For me personally i ordered the mixed platter meat, which was great when you want to cut down on carbs. Price is fine and portion was super generous. Space is enough.
This little restaurant is tucked at the bottom of the mall. Authentic Vietnamese food with generous portions. The food itself is fresh and steaming, bursting with lots of flavour. Staff are friendly and efficient.
Delicious Vietnamese food. Totally recommend the pho, satay chicken skewers and chicken and sticky rice! Perfect for sharing with a group of people. Lovely and quick service. Will be back
So excited to have a Vietnamese place with a jam-packed menu in our woods.
This place just opened in the Spice Alleyway of Eastgardens shopping Centre surrounded by other ‘street eats’ like Hawker Thai food, a Dumpring Queen and some more established restaurants.
Phoodle is a funky chain, decked out with vintage lights in bird cages and little Vietnamese rice hats. The staff are super friendly and the aroma coming from the kitchen -BAM! (Spectacular!).
The menu has everything you’d find in Vietnam ranging from classic phò and rice-paper rolls to clay pot fish, crispy pork in puffy white steamed buns (like a little taco), chicken done every which way and of course the revered ‘Cà phê sua dá’ (a must try Vietnamese Iced Coffee made with Carnation milk).
Food was delicious and reminiscent of Hôi An for me. I now have an extra excuse to come to the movies more often 😉
So glad this has opened as we now have a Quality Vietnamese place that is local! The Pho here is awesome
and I can thoroughly recommend the satay beef pho!
Located in the lower level eat street food court, quick easy option for lunch. I had the crispy pork pancake, tasty and generous (maybe a few too many bean sprouts for me though 😬). Service is quick and efficient. Tables are spaced nicely. Plenty of condiments and complimentary tap water.
Positive
Had an enjoyable pho and Laksa was also tasty.
Negative
Sat at table that hadnt been cleaned after a few minutes...Had to get up and inform them of oversight
They brought one lot of salad for 2 pho and a Laksa. Had to get up and inform them of oversight
They bought one pho and after 5m waiting and seeing others who arrived after us get there meal. Had to get up and inform them of oversight
They apologised and made the dishes but forgot beef balls. Had to get up and inform them of oversight.
They didnt serve fresh chilli with pho. Had to get up and inform them of oversight.
At the end i felt like an employee as their help couldnt clean a table, write an order or correctly serve???? I was up and down like a yo yo as its self serve for cutlery, water etc already!!! Really need to improve service and get compotent staff or train them before releasing them on the public and expecting customers to cover shortfall.
This place does not deserve the current rating it has on google. I have now been there around 7 times every time trying something different and it has never failed in surprising me. I suggest their pho house special with rice noodles such a tasteful and delicious experience.
Food items are nice and delicious. Would recommend for casual dining and something to pop in and out. The prices have gone up a couple of dollars, understandably with impacts of COVID and trying to keep its business going.
After hearing negative reviews of this branch in comparison to the Kingsford branch, I decided to finally try this place out and test it for myself. The store is very clean with friendly staff. I ordered the classic house special pho which took about maybe 5-10 minutes to make which was very quick. The bowl arrived piping hot and the broth turned out beautiful. The only criticism I have is that the beef was not raw, so after a while it became overcooked. Although the meat was not exactly on point, the bowl of pho was great and I would definitely come again.
