Had a Thai Hainan Chicken Rice on Monday as a part of their daily specials. Delicious chicken rice filled with flavoursome ginger and spices. The chicken was average, nothing special. Coconut frappe was very refreshing and not too sweet.
Lang Suan is located in the restaurant precinct of Westfield Eastgardens - serving traditional Thai dishes at reasonable costs. Lots of seating is available, staff are very friendly & food and service is very quick and delicious. Would definitely recommend if you’d like a break from the food court!

We came here for a quick dinner before shopping and we weren’t disappointed. The prices are very reasonable and the sizes of the meals are generous. The staff are friendly and patient. Overall great experience.
Good variety of food and drinks on the menu, all at reasonable prices. The food came out relatively quickly and was delicious. The staff were quite friendly too.
This place is on my resto list when i need something quick and delicious.
Location: very convenient (east garden mall). Although lots of parking space, however is very hard to find one on the weekend.
3 dishes that we always had when eat there: softshell crab, pineapple rice and chilli basil seafood.
The fish cake for entree also nice.
Quick serve, affordable yet yummy.
Very very authentic and yummy, highly recommend.
I did not intend to try because of its low rate, but actually it was soooooo good and I will come back again.
Very good Thai food, I've been here a couple of times and the food always tasty, plenty of options in the menu and very fast service. I just loved the red curry with rice noodles, perfect to warm a winter day. The place is not the best cause is next to the parking but there's nothing much u can do.
Located down stairs of Westfield Eastgardens. The restaurant is decorated to replicate a Thai street food set up. I have eaten here a few times, the food is decent although a little pricey for Thai. Order at the counter, grab a table number and the food will be delivered to your table. The service was pretty quick.
I ordered the chilli basil rice on this occasion and a thai coffee. The Chilli basil rice with beef was a decent portion and had good flavour. Overall verdict good food but a little pricey.
Yummy street Thai food! with the convenience of being in a food court. If you are at East gardens and looking for Thai these guys are your best option. The tin cups and cutlery are an interesting choice but fit with the vibe of the space.
For food court/food hall/shopping centre food, this place is excellent. In fact, just as good as you'd get in any restaurant but with the convenience of parking and shops nearby. The grilled king prawns are a must eat. So incredibly meaty and it came with a delicious sauce snd veggies. The whole deep fried barramundi was pretty good too if you can spare the calories 😆 I was quite surprised to see they had an excellent dessert selection. The Thai milk tea panna cotta was my favourite. It had a strong Thai milk tea flavour. Pet hate is weak/mild tea flavoured desserts so this was really good. Definitely recommend this place if you're at Westfield and need a good feed.
Lang Suan is a Thai street food eatery in the bustling Eastgardens Westfield Shopping Centre, just 12kms from the CBD. Westfield bring in live bands to entertain diners on Friday and Saturday nights, so it's the perfect destination for the whole family. Or drop by for a quick takeaway as you do your weekly shopping. Pure convenience.
Grate food and friendly staff.! Will definitely eat here again. I had the stay chicken noodles, and my wife had chicken cashew nut............................
I was really surprised to read a lot of negative reviews here because the food we ordered was very flavorsome. Being a vegetarian, they made quite a few changes in the dishes we ordered.
We called for Po Pia (deep fried cigar rolls). They were crispy and tasty. We also called for Tom Yum Nam Sai Soup which was filled with carrots, mushrooms and nice big pieces of fried tofu. It tasted nice with rice too. Lastly, we ordered Gaeng Daeng which is basically thai red curry served with plain rice.
We had a nice fun time here even though the service was a little slow.
Westfields Eastgarden has a new dining precinct round the back called Food on Banks (Banks Avenue) and it now plays host to 6 different restaurants: San Churruo Chocolateria, Kingston & Co, Bondi Pizza, Ribs & Burgers, Sedap and Langsuan (the latter were both previously reviewed here). The selection of cuisines at the precinct ranges from asian to western and south american with the sweet eats. We dropped in twice, once for the launch, and the second time time for eats. The lovely Kate Gibbs running down the new precinct. Its all brand new and open now. Sedap does great tasting malaysian at reasonable prices (see main review) Patrons dining at Sedap. Psst this second visit? I had friends visiting the precinct and they loved that this was here. They’re in this pic. Seafood – an asian styled pipi clam in spicy sauce at Sedap. Ribs and Burgers is in the middle of the precinct dishing up well, Ribs and Burgers. Scrumptious Ribs at Ribs & Burgers. Delicious. Burgers at Ribs & Burgers You ca
I read some negative reviews and I got to add my review cos we eat here prob once a week and my family LOVES it. Quality, yummy Thai food - that reminds us of our trips to Bangkok! Our must-haves: Po Pia Jaan (fried to crispy perfection and that relish is to die for), fried rice with crab meat, basil chicken with rice. Love the lychee frappe - perfect for a quick cool down on a hot day!
Tonight we were trying lang Suan Thai street food. I thought it's not many people having it after the review but seems like I was wrong.
Anyway, I ordered pad siew noodle, kao pad Thai and Massaman beef. I think I only can say wow, especially the Massaman beef. That was spectacular nice.... I really not sure what others people complain about. I guess my partner was right, try it before you judge it. I will absolutely come back again.
First time visit, but not our last!!
One of the best pad Thai’s 👌🏼
Chewy, with a perfect balance of tamarind and sweetness.
We got both the vegetable and crispy chicken pad thais but the vegetable one was better.
Chicken green curry was very nice as well!
We also ordered soft shell crab and Tom yum fried rice.
Highly recommend!
✅ delicious, big portioned dishes
✅ fast efficient service
✅ friendly staff
It’s always nice to come back to the restaurant especially try the Lang Suan Shoft Shell Crab and Green Salad Apple Barramundi, full of flavor and so tasty. The flavours reminds me about the original taste of traditional Thai foods. Definitely will come back again.
Tasty dishes and generous servings. Some dishes I don't often usually seen served in Thai restaurant.
Staff were friendly and efficient.
We ordered way too much food, but wanted to try different things on offer.
Would definitely come back to try other things next time.
Good food and friendly service. The deep fried fish, banana fried rice and papaya salad are good.
Nicer nice food, okay portion able to do for special vegetarian request, and even redo a dish when they did a mistake. If anything I would recommend it would be to give a nice smile when engage customer.
I've been here several times but it seems like the quality of food has gone up. Came on a Friday night this time. The deep fried fish for $20 was good value with its big serving, and deep fried morning glory was a hit with the kids. Will come back for those 2 dishes!
