A group of 16 netballers were looking for a delicious place to eat breakfast and the Odd Captain Cafe was that place. We all ordered breakfast and the staff did not have an issue servicing us and making sure that we all got our breakfast at the same time. It was amazingly fresh and very well priced. Highly recommend eating there.

Had breakie at the odd captain this morning and they were obviously extremely busy due to being one of few Cafes open on New Year's Day. The service provided my staff and management is immaculate. There efforts to go above and beyond is very noticeable. Coffee is the best I've had in Echuca I would defiantly rate this as my choice in town for food and drinks.

Wanted quick service before boarding PS Emmylou Murray River cruise. We both ordered the barramundi, delicious. Service was fast & left us with time to skate. A good variety of food and drinks. Happy to recommend.

The best breakfast in Echuca. Plenty on the plate and the coffee was great too. We will be back for sure.

Great breakfast. Great service. The menu had enough choice for me, but two of my companions made up their own, with no fuss. I'll definitely go there again

We had breakfast here, the food was nice and cooked well. We sat out the front which was nice, a lovely view down the street and the beautiful park across the road. There is a nice outside back part to the restaurant which looks lovely. Everything was clean and tidy. The coffee was fine, the milkshake was fine and the ice chocolate wasn't great, it just had lots of the chocolate sauce at the bottom which was a bit much but it was still ok. The kids had pancakes off the kid's menu which were a great size and good value at just under $10 also had kid's scrambled eggs which went down a treat and were a good serving size.. The adults bacon and eggs was nice. The service was ok, we only interacted with one man who didnt seem happy, I want to give him the benefit of the doubt that it just wasn't his day. Overall I wouldn't say anything stood out as great, and I personally wouldn't go back because there are so many great places to explore just down the street but there was nothing really bad either, so if your wanting to try it out I'd say go for it..

What a lovely menu. I'm loving the pumpkin soup w/ toasted sourdough. Coffee is HOT (yay). The service by staff is ok Be aware it's located on a busy corner, so traffic is noisy. With so many other cafes to choose from, this one is good as it's across from the park & play ground.
