Lovely old pub and very friendly service. Dog friendly beer garden. Schnitzel great and my pork and rabbit pasta was very tasty. Well done. 1 suggestion: as great as the pub is inside…..the beer garden has very little atmosphere and can really do with a bit of renovation and joy. Maybe fix your fen

Came here to try Max & Me wines by Phil Lehmann. Was very happy with the country pub feel & service leaving with 2 delicious Rieslings.

We had a great meal and friendly service. Kids meals were a great size and came with free drinks and ice cream. Great variety of wines.

Outstanding staff in a country pub. Excellent wine list. Uncomplicated menu of well prepared food. Don't be put off by surroundings being a bit austere and the bar being fairly crowded. The local community is both friendly and welcoming.

Had a really nice Sunday lunch here. The quality of the meal was great and the barman was very friendly. The (small) dining room could do with a bit of updating.
