Review Wharfside Cafe - Eden

A good cafe with friendly staff and good view, located in one of the world's most picturesque harbours at Snug Cove, Eden, it offers modern Australian breakfasts and lunch, with a variety of seafood options available.

This cafe was a pleasant surprise on a day trip from Cooma, to the coastline. I ordered fish of the day, which came with a salad ( excellent ) . . . service was good, and my meal was on my table within 15 minutes. The interior is a little dated, but the outlook never gets old. If you like very fresh fish, and salad . . . with a high level of service and a smile, I suggest you do yourself a favour, and drop by for lunch . . . and or cocktails a little bit later on.

Great food, service and coffee. The views too are stunning. We dropped in for brekkie and I had the corn fritters. Best ever.

Great breakfast and helpful friendly staff. We came here for breakfast and were impressed with the service and the coffee. The hollandaise sauce on eggs Benedict was great. The corn fritters were a different to what I was expecting ( thin and soft rather than crisp) but still delicious.

Went there around 11 for breakfast. Staff is friendly. They offered lunch meal options as well. Food was nice. Lovely ambience with a view of wharf. I first time ate friend toast in breakfast. Nice experience.

Great spot for a bit of lunch. Oysters were VERY tasty and we had a dolphin to watch in the bay whilst we ate 💚🐬💚

We visited this cafe last week and it was nice, but there is a reason they don't put the price list on the menu outside!!! It was almost $60 for a Marinara Risotto and fish & chips and a cup of tea... and it wasn't even that nice. The Marinara Risotto had 1 prawn and a few bits of calamari and the fish and chips were not $24 worth. The cafe itself is quite nice and the view of the wharf was pleasant. Would call in for a cuppa if we were in the area, but would opt to eat elsewhere.

Ordered large coffees and got regular size. No apologies. They were replaced with burnt, bitter coffees. Mixed up the orders and my poached eggs were hard boiled and over cooked in a mould. Ordering food was a process. Only one person waiting tables and manning the order desk, clearly not knowing how to take orders and process payments. The kitchen was open to outside during a fly plague. Unsatisfactory for a restaurant which is supposed to be one of the best in town! Maybe a review of staff is required or adequate training. Word of mouth is your biggest business builder or breaker. Lift your game!

There prices are too high, the food has gone down hill. The chips were full of oil. I couldn't even finish my meal. The service and wait time was terrible for 3 meals $77 they ripped us off by $5. WOULD AVOID!

We had the pleasure of having Garry look after us two day in a row. The calamari was the best I've ever tasted and the service was friendly and welcoming. If I lived in Eden I'd eat here every day. Thanks Garry and Valma for looking after us!

Very disappointed. We ordered our food and after everyone finished their meals we were still waiting for food to released they forgot. The restaurant was not that busy either to wait so long. Food was very average.

Every time we are in Eden this is our go-to place - it's not five star food but great value for money and with terrific ambience...

Had the mussels. Terrific, as always. The staff were excellent. Friendly and prompt in service. Will be back.

Food was good but a bit exci $$$ for brekkie for one. 2 x coffee, juice and eggs royale $37.50.

Ordered raisin toast ,came out burnt ,told the young girl and she didnt care .great customer service on her behalf .i suppose thats what u get when u put on kids though

EDEN WHARFSIDE CAFE, been going there for awhile now, foods fantastic and that view would have to be one of the best in the world!!, the staff are friendly, the service is great!, oh how lucky the people of Eden are to have this place right on there doorstep!.

Amazing coffee, heavenly breakfast, great atmosphere, beautiful views and great service.

Great food, great service, lovely staff. Will come again my next trip to Eden.

Very fresh and good mussel, as the farm is nearby. Definitely will come back again!
