Makizo - Edgecliff - Photo album

I really enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients used. A bit on the pricey side ($17 for one sushi roll 8 pieces), but you get what you pay for. Soft shell crab roll was yummy. Bento box was delicious. Amex accepted. Reservations recommended.
Makizo consistently offers excellent food at very reasonable prices. Their sushi rice is actually exceptional . Every dish I have ever eaten here is of superb quality and totally delicious. The sashimi is also extremely fresh and has a silky finish. The staff are lovely
Really good Japanese fusion food all dishes were delicious!! It was pleasantly surprised as restaurant can be easily overlooked and I’ve only went there after a friends recommendation. I will go back and become a regular visitor for sure.
Do not go here. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Only brought half the table’s food and took an hour to bring the rest (which they messed up the order anyway). Waitresses actively avoid eye contact and dealing with customers. I would give it zero stars if I could.
Nice place. Great food and excellent staff experience. The sashimi is extremely fresh. The staff are lovely
This place has gone down hill. Each piece of the special sushi rolls were the size of a 10 cent coin at best. Avocado so ripe it is hard to bite. Won't rush back. Manager wasn't interested in feedback.
Excellent place. A bit on the expensive side but hey, welcome to paying commercial rent and salary in Sydney. Great food and excellent staff experience.
A fresh and an exciting array of Japanese delights. We ordered an entree and a main to share each and left FULL. Generous serves and really diverse menu. My favourite dishof the evening was sweet chili chicken. The sashimi was like butter. A return visit is a definite.
