Excellent service & delicious salmon, cooked to perfection. I was pleased with the care that was taken to follow along with my food sensitivities. Cheerfully noted I'd say served with a smile, but masks are required. Lol! 😷
What a wonderful Hotel. We were greeted by lovely friendly waitresses and a very attentive barman / Manager. They offered full table service with some drinks first, placing our meal order then a warm bread roll arrived. Isn’t that great these days. Now for the meals. Absolutely top class food was served by the lovely waitresses, couldn’t fault any of our meals and they were such good value too. I would rate this Hotel to be one of the best this side of Adelaide. Can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you again and keep on this winning formula. Kindest regards.
The staff here are amazing! So warm and welcoming and they genuinely care about your experience. The food was delicious, hot, fresh and served without delay, table service adds that extra special touch. I highly recommend this venue and can't wait to visit again 😃
Great atmosphere, comprehensive menu, man size pints, terrific food! The only let down was the wait time and the dining room only half full. The waiting staff were spread thin but totally putting in so I would say the kitchen was slow. We would have loved to have stayed and had a round of what looked to be tasty deserts and coffees but the wait time would have been too long. Will go back totally ! That said I am not a patient man so that tells you the food was good! CM
Lunch at the Maid Of Auckland Hotel yesterday was very nice. We had warm bread rolls to start with followed by our main meal. I had Calamari and it was beautifully cooked. It wasn't like eating a leather shoe as some places I've eaten at. The salad was nice with an Asian dressing. This was followed by a dessert and coffee. Our group was wearing name tags and the staff ordered our meal using our tags ensuring our meal was served efficiently and we all got the correct meal. All in all a good experience.
Family owned classic pub that has been there for many decades. Very well presented with a modern decor with bars pokies & dining facilities. Very Good service & very affordable. It's worthy of a visit by everyone .

My new favourite pub/bistro is the Maid, hands down. My first time attending here for a meal and I'm glad I did, with the lovely company I had too it was a lovely night overall, in from the cold infront of a cosy fire 🔥
Thank you for providing us (yet again) with a delicious and generously portioned meal that was started off with a very tasty platter of foods from the entree/share platter menu which is provided.
Pictured is their Kangaroo Steak with Sweet Potato Mash and Brocollini, Pirate Life Throwback IPA, a glass of smooth Guiness and and a lovely assortment of foods on the share platter.
10/10 would come back again for another lovely dine in experience. For people that like to stay at home then Uber Eats/Takeaway is also an option from here, which we have also had in the past. A beautifully done up venue that doesn't require you having to dress up to match, well timed and thoughtful table service and a lovely team of staff to boot what more could you want.
