My wife and I have been regular customers of The Shelf and recently had a meal delivered to the table which was contrary to what was specifically ordered. This was most unusual and we were a bit taken aback. When we advised the waitress of the issue (politely) the manager came to our table to seek to fix the problem. The manager (possibly the owner) could not have been more apologetic and not only replaced the meals with what was ordered but gave us complimentary coffees. The purpose of the specific order was a food allergy and the staff bent over backwards to rectify the situation. Not only can we recommend the food, and service at Shelf to the highest degree, their customer relations and business management practices are exemplary.👍
Biggest tick of approval from me the biggest food critic...me! This place is simply awesome in every way! From layout, to staff, service & food! The amount of choice is impeccable and ever so delicious! Will definitely be back & highly recommend to go! Thanks for a great Mother's Day lunch!
This is the place to be! The food quality and selection is incredible and the service is just as good. It was a hive of activity there this morning and we were advised it was a 15 minute wait on food from the kitchen. At 15 minutes on the dot, we were advised that our food was going to be a little longer (our poached eggs were cooked for too long and weren't going to be runny so the chef was re-making them), and would we like a complimentary coffee while we waited. Our food was ready within another 5 minutes and it was so worth the wait! The Shelf Deli should be commended on the warm culture they have created within their cafe.
This cafe is by the far the best I have gone too, the treats in the window are to die for. The staff are incredibly polite and the coffee is awesome. Working across from it is dangerous ;) thankyou for always providing the best �

Truly amazing yummy healthy whole homemade food this is a hidden gem in the Pines as good as any Melbourne Sydney cafe
Try the quinoa feta ball and the raw crunchy salad if your being particularly decadent try the vanilla slice or cheesecake I love this place
We recently had The Shelf Deli Cafe cater for our daughters 4th birthday and were blown away with how simple the process was from ordering to collection. They took care of everything from delicious platters to lasagne, quiche, roast vegetable stack & a variety of salads, not to mention creating the most spectacular mermaid birthday cake!
There were lots of compliments on how fresh, delicious & wholesome the food was and it allowed us to truly relax and enjoy this special occasion! Thank you again!!!!

This place is great! The chilli beef baked sweet potato was a smasher! Healthy, tasty and excellent value for money!
Considering how busy it was today, we got served fast, our meals were out fast and the meals was delicious. Chris bonoffee pie was sensational!!!
Really great deli and cafe!! Everything looks so incredibly fresh and tasty, great coffee and very reasonable prices considering the quality!!
