I went to this place for the first time today to grab a quick take away. Ordered king prawn fried rice and spring rolls. The portion size was huge... I think I've got enough food for 3 meals! Fried rice came with fresh prawns, very tasty. Spring rolls were so crunchy and yummy.
Also, thank you very much for your great service. I'll be back again (I'll show up a bit earlier next time).
Quaint little restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The staff, especially our waitress by the name of Emily, were great and the food was fantastic. I had been looking for some good fried Szechuan beef as most other places only do a braised varient. And theirs did not disappoint �. My wife and I also had a honey chicken that was excellent. The only thing I would say as a small criticism would be bigger tables, other than that it was a very nice dining experience
As a food allergy sufferer I tend to stick to plain western type foods. However I can not recommend enough how lovely the food and service is here. Admittedly, I've only had takeaway, but it has been absolutely delicious and having the option of it being served with rice or noodles is another massive plus for me as well.
Our first time dining here tonight... Service was great, staff were very friendly, food came out to the table so quickly & was delicious. Will definitely be coming back �
The only Chinese restaurant who can get your food to perfection. The garlic combination is so divine it melts in your mouth and the rice is so perfect on the side. My kids won't eat anything else when we order bar the fried rice and they demolish it in two seconds flat!

My boyfriend and I decided to try this Chinese restaurant out after having a bad few experiences at the other Chinese Restaurant in Ellenbrook which almost completely put us off trying anywhere else at all.
I also worked at a Chinese restaurant myself for 5 years so I know how almost every dish tastes and haven't yet found a place to fulfill my Chinese cravings like my little home town used to do for me.. Until we came across this place! Portion sizes are very generous, staff are super friendly, and food is so fresh every time we go. We've now been 3 times in 1 week as we love it that much! Not to mention my partner and I are quiet picky with certain ingredients we dislike in our dishes and they happily alter our food just the way we like it! 10/10 rating from me! I barely give ratings unless they're outstanding so that's saying something..

Great food, Enjoyed by the whole family. Honey Chicken is always ordered. Basic dishes - as mentioned honey chicken , chilli beef, combination noodles and a serve of spring rolls. Every dish spot on, the ambience of the establishment as I was lined up to pick up my take away order was like being massaged by an angel. A Chinese angel. Who knows how to DISH. IT. UP.

my family and i was looking for a chinese resto to eat, and of course the ellenbrook chinese restaurant came out from thecsearch first. It was one of the best service we’ve had. fast service, foood was great and i love how friendly and accomodating the staff are. I would definitely come back here.
We have never been disappointed at Ellenbrook Chinese with take away ordering or dinning in. WE have our favorite dishes eg. Honey chicken and steam rice, King prawn fried rice and Satay Beef. The service is friendly as well.
Only Chinese I can eat, and not feel sick afterwards. Only Chinese where the chicken and corn soup actually taste like chicken and corn soup and not just corn soup. Love this place. I come here all the time

Great flavourful Chinese food the portion sizes are big. I ordered The satay beef and sweet and sour pork and it was absolutely amazing!!! Definitely be going back again!! My favourite Chinese in the ellenbrook area :)
Great food and if you done it servings are huge. By far the best one in Ellenbrook area. Waitress knew her stuff. Had lunch takeaway and it did the job. Can't complain.

Ellenbrook Chinese Restaurant will satisfy the north with some tasty Chinese food.
The chef comes from Hong Kong!
Looking at the menu, it looked like any menu from a Chinese restaurant you find in the country, catering for Western pallet but i found some of the flavors better than your well known restaurants in Northbridge or SOR.
One thing that stood out was the freshness of the food! What a pleasant surprise!
Heres what we ordered:
Salt n pepper pork chop: pork was fresh and plenty! Flavour was awesome! Finally a place that actually calls it pork chops instead of spare ribs, because most places serve pork chop, not spare ribs.
Szeuchuen beef: beef is tender, flavour is there but lacking punch. At this stage in my exploration...i have yet to find a real knock out szeuchen beef:(
Sizzling tofu with mince chicken n salted fish: yum! I liked this one as the chicken bits are more bigger.
Prawn with salted egg: what big prawns you serve!
Combination dry egg noodles: this had the char of the wok. Generous portion! Chunks of meat and seafood were big, where you can sink your teeth in. No little bitty bits here.
Overall it the dishes are slightly more pricy compared to Northbridge but your paying quality and portion i think.
It would have scored higher if the flavors that were in the dishes, were more! I just love impact flavour haha.
Oh and they need to employ one more staff as it was just abit slow. Tables took awhile to be cleared. The staff they had were fantastic though.
Very nice, good quality dishes. Friendly staff, willing to help. Great for take away on a casual night in with friends. Would recommend and would dine here again.
Sensational food was just the beginning. The service was exceptional. The restaurant presented nothing less than a fine dining one. Would definitely recommend to try out this joint for an amazing overall experience. Keep up the good work guys

Always filling and tasty, good place to get Chinese, gives the place a good name for Chinese cuisine unlike 99% of other Chinese places
We had a group of four, and considered getting the banquet option for $28, but ended up with better value by not going down that route. The staff were wonderful. There was a waitress and the owner of the place, and both those women were friendly and happy, which is always a good sign. What's not so great are some of the portion sizes (the fried rice, especially) for the price you're paying. We were able to finish off four main dishes, an entree, drinks, and dessert, when the other times we go out for Chinese we barely make it through four dishes at similar or cheaper cost. The food does all taste really good, though.
I had a dinner last night and was wonderful. i had the bbq pork ribs and my bf some veggies with beef. all was good and well presented. the service just perfect and the staff so friendly :) definetly i will be back :)

Lunch specials for $9 it's a bargain, the food is pretty good. We have lunch there pretty much every week.
Had a takeaway dinner last night. Fast efficient service. Szechuan beef was hot spicy as you would expect. Satay beef served tasty quite fine and peanutty. Fried rice was cooked perfectly but I felt it was lacking a bit of diced vege. But the fried rice was served in a larger container than most takeaway joints. So excellent portion size. Mixed combination omelette was pleasant. Sweet and sour fish was nice fishy fish obviously prepared fully within the restaurant 👍. Sweet and sour sauce was made fresh and did not have that full artifical flavour and colour. Boneless lemon chicken was great, and huge portion size. Lemon sauce was great. Garlic king prawns. Prawns were of good quality but it was not as garlicky as you would expect. So perfect prawns needing a bit more taste. Overall not as pricey as a lot of other chinese restaurants so pricing was fair in my book. Service was great !

Best Asian good since I ate in Singapore recently, and a surprise in the menu not just the same ole same ole, recommend the black pepper beef was simply delish ... Yay what a find
My family and I went to Ellenbrook Chinese on my son's birthday as he was turning 11. We had been once before for another celebration and the food was great. The servings are quite large and we ended up taking some food home at the end of the meal the staff were happy to oblige. Prices are very good and the food is very freshly presented to your table straight from the kitchen. My husband is very fussy when it comes to Chinese food and he was pleasantly surprised with the food itself. The staff are very helpful and since the restaurant is not far from us we will be back. The restaurant is very casual and the décor is very simple.
Not bad. Fresh ingredients. Quite westernized, but inoffensive. Will go back.

Very tasty laksa. Went for lunch there for the first time. great service. There are not much choices in the lunch menu, not sure about the the dinner menu. the fried rice that came with the meal was great. very tasty. ordered Mongolian Beef and chicken laksa. The beef was alright, can taste the Hoisin sauce in there. Laksa was amazing, so tasty with two diff types of noodles. Great serving size for dine in (not sure about take-aways) will go back there for it again.
Consistently great!. We've become regular diners here, it's now our 'local' Chinese and we live almost half an hour away!! Service is always very friendly. Slightly more expensive than you're average Chinese restaurant but it's far above average. The food is exceptional, it even tastes good the next day which I cant say for many other restaurants especially Chinese. You can tell the food is freshly made and they could accommodate gluten free diets as well. The environment is very clean and I'm particular about that. We've tried many items from the menu but on this occasion we had Spring rolls and prawn toasts, Prawn salad for entrees. Cantonese steak, scallop with steamed vege and Wasabi King prawns. It's always hard to choose between the King Prawn or Avocado and Scallop fried rice......can't wait to make the trip again.
1st Visit. We had our 1st meal here last night and were very impressed with the food & service. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was full of flavour and the servings were generous. We will definately return.
Delicious. Got both quality food and good serving's at Ellenbrook Chinese.
Got a huge plate of curry beef and fried rice, which after eating as much as i could, had enough left for lunch the next day.
If you like Chinese you will like this place.

Dining at this restaurant was one of the highlights of my Perth visit. We had the $28 banquet which was absolutely delicious, in fact, more than we could eat.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone thinking of getting a meal while passing through or staying on this area

Much better than the rest. Last night we needed to find somewhere to eat around 9pm. We'd already gone to Mash and Duckstein, who both advised us their kitchens were closed (on a Friday night? Really?) so we flew over to the new Chinese restaurant in the hope they were open.
We caught them 6 minutes before they were going to close, and they told us that we couldn't stay, but that we could still order take away. The food is lovely, greasy, not too salty or anything like that. The fried rice (something I stopped eating years ago because I am sick to death of greasy food) is really nice, not to oily at all. The chicken dish we ordered (the wok fried chicken) was nice and clean on the palate, not swimming in litres of cornflour laden sauce. And the satay wasn't too shabby at all. It's not Bibik Chans, but it's not far off. The menu is wonderfully different, it still has the same fare you're used to at a Chinese Restaurant, but the options are much more varied.
They had our food ready in less than 10 minutes, and the staff were just lovely; so polite and helpful. I'll be back, got my eye on the salt & chilli squid :)
