very good, their Adana kebab is excellent. And Jewish people can eat it because its Halal which is basically 'kosher'.

Tasty. Had the lamb backstrap & baba ganoush which were both very, very good. Also got a couple of salads (white bean & tabouli) which were nice. Pita bread was cold which was a bit disappointing but easily heated up in the microwave at home.
Price is slightly on the expensive side at $22.
Great kabab rolls. Fast service! Had several kababs and they were all really good! Would help if they added the correct sauces to the orders though! Overall delicious!
Sometimes life is not only about healthy food and fine dining! Sometimes you feel like grease, fat and salt bursting with flavour! For those moments it's hard to go past a large chicken snack pack at Alev Alev. A base of well cooked and salted chips with relatively lean shaved chicken shawarma over the top smothered in sauce. Pretty darn good. Although, expect to feel a bit sick after if you eat too much.
Small snack pack with coke very enjoyable great value quick meal. Well located easy parking lots of middle eastern sweets to choose from for a takeaway has good seating. Service excellent.

Went here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the great food given the price! Generous portions, affordable prices with exceptional service. The waiter always serve you with a smile and even packed the leftovers for me so nicely! The food was pretty good, we ordered mostly lamb dishes and some veggie dishes for me since I don't eat red meat. The zucchini fritters and felafel were alright, nothing mind blowing so I'd say jus give that a skip. The fide though, was amazing. We ordered the gourmet fide and salami fide and both were AMAZING. So full of flavour and were freshly made! I did not really try the lamb dishes, but my friends said the flavour were good but the meat was a little dry. I had most of the side salads and they were nicely seasoned as well. We also ordered some Turkish tea and coffee to pair with our baklava and revani desserts. The baklava was not a winner, it was stale and rock hard, with the layers of thin pastry glued to each other and it was incredibly hard to even slice the baklava because of how stale it was. The revani though, was absolutely DELISH. We ordered three revani despite our very full tummies and still finished them all!

Best kebabs I've ever had! The staff are so friendly there all the time and the service is quick! Always a good vibe there. The quality of the meat is top of the range! I will never go anywhere else for my kebab fix.
Best kebab ever! We have been coming here for the past 2 Years and we are so glad to have found this joint. The service is always given with a smile and the kebabs are just so delicious. Shaved meat in either Turkish bread or pita, they just melt in your mouth. The Turkish meat pizza also good, I always buy the frozen ones to keep in my freezer. This place never disappoints... Thanks heaps guys!
Had a falafel kebab here last week, the service was very friendly and the food came to our table within 5 minutes. This was pretty good considering there were three of us. The falafel tasted great and pita bread wasn't smothered in garlic sauce which was a nice change. Worth a look if you like Falafels or kebabs!
So far, the best Turkish cuisine we have had in Melbourne for the 2 years we have been here. Having been in the Gulf for the past 30 years and getting our fare share of Middle Eastern cuisine, Alev has been quite tasty. Had ordered the mixed platter and the chicken aioli along with an eggplant dip for the 3 of us. Turned out to be quite filling, the lamb was quite juicy and the bread was nicely crispy.
Summary: Yummy food and worth the value of money.
Best ever!!! I've eaten lots of chicken kebabs but after getting alev alev it's now our regular Saturday afternoon snack. Fresh, tasty, brilliant! A must for any kebab lover.
Great kebabs and Turkish coffee. Great service as well. What more could you adj got from your local kebab place. I try to eat here at least once a week!
Doesn't look like much from the outside but kebabs are really great. Fresh and really tasty. Will be back!
In summary, it was our expectations that initially lead us astray but he meal was enjoyable and UFC was truly lovely. Fine dining restaurants could learn a thing or two from him.
If you live nearby, Alev Alev Turkish Kitchen is definitely worth a visit for cheap and tasty take away or a bite to eat.

Awesome kababs. Me and my wife have tried numerous kebabs and pita rolls, loc was our fav.until we tried this....
amazing filling, very juicy and nice spicy.... yummy all the way, except the last bite which is full of drained oil (but necessary for a tasty food), so I would prefer to leave the last bite.
But no doubt this is top on our charts when it comes to Turkish kebabs.

Fresh and tasty. I like a good kebab and have been very happy to find Alev Alev. I have been taking my boys here for several years now and we all enjoy it. The family that run the shop are so friendly. The salads are nice and fresh and the kebabs get served quickly but aren't slapped together like some places do. The meat from the spit is lovely and juicy and you get heaps in your kebab. Our favourite kebabs!!!
Yum. It serves some of the best takeaway food I have ever had. Since it's near my house I regularly go up for a tasty kebab. You always have the option to eat in but it can get very hot in the summer eating there.
Fabulous turkish food. We went one night with the girls for a quick bite, doner, kefte, salads, it was all fabulous, quick, tasty, and the family aer really friendly.

Great place for lunch. I've now been coming here regularly since Alev Alev opened. I find the shish excellent, served on a plate with a variety of salads made freshly every day, and brown rice. Good value and as good as it gets.
Just good tasty food. On the recommendation of some Middle Eastern friends we dined at Alev Alev Turkish Kitchen for the first time. We were not disappointed.
Pretentious or trendy it is not. Looks very much like any old Kebab joint. But please put any prejudices aside and just try the food.
A good, honest family run restaurant serving traditional Turkish food made with love and top quality produce. Delicious grilled or baked meats, vegetables and Turkish pastries and sweets. As good as I have had anywhere, including Turkey.
Very, and I mean very, limited inside seating, but they do take bookings.

The guys working at the kebab shop were fantastic and helpful when it came to suggestions on the menu. The food was fantastic and very delicious!!! It was a wonderful experience and we would recommend it to everyone. Ali is very quick and fast to make kebabs and challenge him to make kebab in 1 minute 50 seconds ;) :)
Aaaaahhh.... The food is great, always fresh and the staff are super friendly. I usually get a kebab or falafel wrap for my lunch at least once a week and the guys are always prompt and polite with the added bonus of the salad being crisp, the bread soft and mouthwatering..
Pet peeve of mine is when ordering for the first time at a new place, the salad tastes like it's old and of the contents of the fridge it's stored in. Neither of these have ever occurred and I am more than happy to thoroughly recommend these guys to people who ask where they can get a great kebab with the bonus of reasonable prices.
Every time I have gone in here the food has been plentiful and authentic, make sure you leave space for their baklava, home baked with a family recipe.
Great food and great service. We had specific dietary requirements and the owner was very helpful and accommodated our needs. Delicious fresh meat and fresh varieties of salads too! Highly recommend.
