Amazing Pizza, thin crispy base. I have ordered delivery countless times without any hiccups and usually prompt delivery. I love the supurbo and Salsiccia.
Nice place , the pizza and pasta is nice not amazing , better than most , very traditional, happy to recommend , kids serve of pasta is big and my child like it.
Have been to this restaurant many times now and consistently enjoy their range of pizzas. Thin crusts and a wide variety. Haven't eaten a mediocre pizza yet.
I can't say much about their pasta range but my wife loved their prawn pasta. Perhaps a few more prawns would be an improvement even if it cost a bit more.
The service is efficient and friendly and if they keep it up they can expect to see a lot more of us.
Was in the area so thought we would give this place a go. The pizza was what you would think pizza is like in Italy. A beautiful thin base, not overcooked, well balanced ingredients, mozzarella perfectly done (not too much, but not too little). The best pizza I have had in Melbourne however a little overpriced for my liking (but priced well for the area)
I ordered pizzas online for pick up tonight and for the most part I was really happy with the experience. For a start, the pizza was excellent. This is real Italian style pizza, meaning that the crust is thin and crisp while the toppings are not overbearing. There was no sogginess, and the ingredients are top notch.
It was ready to pick up when they said it would be, my only complaint is that one of the pizzas was missing the goat's cheese that I had requested in the order.
Driven past but never noticed this place. Recommended for a quick Sunday night dinner. Busy, lots of take-aways which meant in house service was a little slow but food did not disappoint! Thin pizzas and interesting pastas not drowning in tomatoey sauce! Definitely a return visit...
Fabulous! Beautiful spicy crisp prawn pizza and the mushroom one both beautiful crispy base. Other surprise highlight was the bloody orange ice cream! Amazing! Can't wait to go back
Second time here last night and once again a delicious meal!!The pizzas here are some of the nicest in the area.Am yet to try them as a takeaway but will do.
Had the mushroom pizza last night and my partner had the tagliatelle pasta special-it was his first visit and was very impressed and enjoyed his meal.
My pizza was packing lots of flavor and just keeps you coming back for more. Am slowly making my way through the veg pizzas..toppings are different to the usual which is a nice change.
I think next visit I will try the pasta!
Staff attentiveness was lacking but is only a minor problem given that the food is well worth it.
Was a wee bit hesitant after reading reviews that I wasn't going to like Motorino. I'm glad that didn't come to pass. Small & crowded, noisy, but full of life. Menu up on blackboard as well as on paper menus (why?) a good range of pizzas & pastas.
I had the funghi (mushroom, mozzarella, ricotta, garlic, caramelised onions & thyme. Thin floury base & all up delicious. Ate the whole thing. You can bring your own booze & no corkage though I just drank water.
Finished off with the oh so good raspberry & lemon curd pizza. A dollop of cream on top!
Very happy at Motorino. Service was great & look forward to returning.
Motorino- Great food. The simplicity of the pizza, yet the flavour and texture that comes with it is quite amazing. I had the Fratello pizza. The fior Di latte was beautiful. The environment is kid friendly, and has a very nice vibe. Go Motorino!
Food was great. Pizza and pasta was really fresh and nice. Booked for a large group for dinner and drinks. On this page under the Highlights section it says 'Serves alcohol' which is wrong because when we turned up they told us it was BYO. So we had to go and get our own beer and wine from elsewhere. Disappointing as I wanted to book a restaurant that served alcohol. Service was great. Wait staff were friendly and knew the menu. They had no problems with a large group of 10+ people and everyone enjoyed their food. But maybe don't say you serve alcohol when you don't.
Called up today and asked if they could make me a Quattro Formaggi (four cheese) pizza on a whim. Not only were the staff super accommodating but also gave some great suggestions on making an even better pizza. Perfect crust, melt in your mouth cheese and fantastic taste overall!
Very happy to call this place my local. Has been prefect every time I've eaten and ordered from here.

Really nice pasta dishes. I've been here a few times and the standard of food is consistently high.
The only negative I have is that you have to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom, which is not ideal.
A great tasting, value for money eat in-take away pizzeria that I've had the opportunity to eat from. Definitely spoilt for choice as everything is delicious and worth a try. They are quite willing to make changes to a menu option too (spaghetti Bol instead of penne, which is delicious). My favourite Italian take away in the area, thanks for the great food.
Awesome food and excellent service. Motorino offers fresh, flavoursome pasta and proper Italian pizza. There's loads of vegetarian options too, so Motorino is fast becoming a favourite.

Great pizza. Seriously great value. Stumbled on this by accident after an early evening movie at the Classic. Wish I'd found it sooner. Classic Italian, thin style pizza. Small dining area at the front and seems like the bulk of its business is home delivery pizza. Had the most expensive pizza of Prawn and chilli. A delight. Lovely thin base combining chewiness and crisp. Generous amount of prawn and the chilli add a nice punch. Other guests had pizza and pasta and the bill for the 4 of us ran to $75. Including the tiny corkage charged. Service is friendly and seemingly mostly backpackers working for a while. Which makes for some interesting chats!!

What's happened?. We've ordered from Motorino about 5 times since moving nearby. The last two times the pizzas have been very average which is a shame because they WERE truly EXCELLENT.

Great Experience. Great Food. Great Service. Great Spot!. As a resident of the area Ive passed by Motorino a few times and saw a good crowd and what seemed a nicely mooded spot.
After a game of golf I decided Id give it a try, feeling like a nice pizza.
We arrived earlier than the normal evening trade at around 5.30pm, the owner Dom was still taking in his food stocks for the evening but he made a point of welcoming us.
After making us feel welcome with a friendly chat Dom gave us the specials and left us to our choices. Being of italian background and a bit particular about what I liked in a pizza I thought id pose the question to Dom about how good his pizza was. Dom was confident that his pizzas were great describing how his partner chef was very particular how everything was prepared.
I decided to do a half and half pizza - one side meatballs and the other prosciutto. I also decided to try the fresh chilli in oil on the side. My partner went for the spaghetti with mushrooms, I think bacon and garlic.
I can only say Dom was 100% spot on about their pizzas , it was amazing! Such great flavours, the tomato base amazing and the chilli on the side I loved, meats were flavourful, great base . I have to say one of the best pizzas Ive had in Melbourne. My partners spaghetti was also amazing. Loved the rusticness of it, no creamy sauces etc just pure good olive oil, garlic, and parmesan flavour. Definitely recommend as well.
Overall I have to say this is a great spot, great service, great food, great mood and great prices! Thanks Dom for a great meal and a great restaurant experience.
Loved the tagliatelle salmone, and there were so many options for my vegetarian daughter. We will be hitting up this cool little pizzeria as often as we can.
New kids on the block. I tried Motorino for the first time Monday night. I ordered the Sicilian pizza, and the spaghetti puttanesca. It was simply amazing. The lamb, rocket and lemon on the Sicilian pizza went together perfectly. The spaghetti puttanesca was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Motorino is a breath of fresh air in the Elsternwick community. Well done Motorino!

Great pizza!. Perfect for takeaway or to eat in - have done both! Service is friendly and laid back and the pizza is perfect. Have had the prawn pizza which was fresh and flavoursome! Good price point too. Definitely worth a visit.
Fresh, quality ingredients = Great pizza. Tried the pumpkin (Fratello) and Salsiccia (veal and pork sausage). Both were delicious. Great value, nice, thin delicious crusts. Highly recommend that you try this place. Perfect for takeaway and they have a nice space for eating in as well.

Hooray. Finally decent pizza in this area, have tried so many around Elwood, St Kilda etc but this would have to be my fave. Give them a try , you won't be disappointed.

Its about time a pizza joint of this calibre opened in this area. Amazing pizzas. The standout for me was the prawn pizza, yummo!!!! A nice thin crust that wasn't doughy or dense at all. The dessert pizza was to die for! I'll be back and be spreading the word, "Motorino rocks"!!!!!!
