By far the best service I’ve ever experienced! Everyone is so lovely and it is apparent that the food is made with love! The Singaporean veggie curry is a must try!
Great Cafe! We have been here many times due to the cosy atmosphere, peaceful nature and beautiful scenery. The waitresses are always very friendly and attentive, the coffee is enjoyable and most of the menu items are amazing. We have had the chicken, vegetable and lentil soup (special), the chicken focaccia and the scones with jam and cream. All of these have been fresh and tasty! We usually come here when we want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle experienced in most other inner suburban cafes. Nothing beats sitting outside surrounded by trees enjoying a simple coffee and treat.
PS they are closed on Thursday's. Not updated on Zomato, but reflected on Google.
Really pleasant cafe. The service was prompt and the food and coffee was enjoyable. We had a few ice creams, cafe lattes and scones. Recommend for anyone passing through.
Great coffees, babycino's and selection of food. This establishment has really picked it up lately with service & quality of food. Also good selection of GF, veg, soy milk and vegetarian!! Very accommodating and lovely.
The Atmosphere and Taste you're after. Delicious food, with a range of healthy and more decadent options. Owners are lovely and committed to customer service. The cafe has a cool balcony overlooking leafy Eltham. Enjoyed a delicious salmon focaccia, freshly squeezed orange juice and a muffin. It was the perfect break with a friend after studying in the library next door. A lovely atmosphere and well worth a visit!

First timer, will come back for more. As the name suggested, lots of tea pots on display, great, I love collecting tea pots & cups too. Perfectly located next to a park, parking was easy and if I needed a book, the library is next door. It's the Eltham "country" look, mud brick, timber ramp & ballustrade, plain, natural colours scheme, the gallery inside brings another dimension, great polished timber floor, timber counter top, very weekend ambiance .... just not too sure about the Streets ice-cream fridge on the entrance and the bookcase displays. OK, Coffee is supplied by street brand Mio, so not the boutique roaster, however they make it work, also I did not say NO to the Green Tea Leafs, freshly brewed tea leafs is always an enticing proposition. The offering is interesting, Home Made Quiche, freshly baked muffins, Chocolate Croissant, Escargot is too good not to try, although I did have their big serve of Crispy Bacon & Sunny Side Up Eggs on toast with 2 Hash-browns ... price is up there, just like their quality, definitely will come back for more of their pastries and breakfast all day menu.
Simple but tasty. Nice small cafe just outside the Eltham Library, we came here for breakfast before a study session. Coffee is acceptable (if eating in, the mug size is HUGE), food is simple but generally good.
Omelette was very nice and a good size, with a good range of options. Big breakfast was impossibly large and keenly priced. French toast was a little disappointing though, being a little oily and heavy.
Overall a nice little suburban operation. 7/10

It's always hard to choose between Teapot and Shillinglaw, which is just next door. However, I like sitting on the balcony at the front of the Teapot Cafe, which is great in the morning sunlight. Food-wise, the Big Breakfast is also excellent. Think of every food item you could possibly want in a big breakfast, and it's there! I was also impressed by the fact that there's also an equally filling/well priced vegetarian version. Overall, the food is nice and fresh and the waiters are very attentive. As with Shillinglaw, easy access to the Eltham Library is an added bonus.
The food was yum and portions were good too. They made something vegetarian at my request and actually put effort into making it nice and extra special, didn’t skimp on the ingredients. They made latte art of our faces which was very cute, and all the staff were very friendly. Thank you!
