The only Chinese restaurant I will eat at!
My family and I love everything about this place! The food is the best Chinese you can get in the north eastern suburbs .
A family run business with such friendly service. They have been here for such a long time and you can see why!
From the delicious food the the small touches such as handing out warm towels to finish off the experience.
Have tried lots of things on the menu and it never disappoints. Especially the quail and calamari! So good!
Went to Noble House last Saturday for dinner and loved it! Maybe one of the first times when I haven’t felt sluggish and head achey after Chinese (thanks to the forever present MSG). We both LOVED the calamari entree! Staff were very polite (albeit a little bit of a language barrier) and quick to serve you. Admittedly, it’s not a place you can afford to go once a week, however would highly recommend it as a place for a more special occasion.
We decided on a last minute family dinner at Noble House tonight. It’s been a few years since we’ve been there but overall it is very overpriced for what you get. Most of the waiters were very in your face and hovered around our table which made us feel rushed to order and continually came up to ask if we wanted more drinks which became annoying after a while, every time we tried to talk to each other there was another waiter back staring at us. Food was above average but I feel it was definitely overpriced to other restaurants we have been to.
Probably won't be back in a hurry. Although the food is always tasty and the staff some what friendly(depends on their mood) the quality and consistency seems to very alot from visits and the price seems to increase every time.
Spent a very enjoyable evening with family to celebrate our son's birthday at Noble House. The food and service was extremely good and would highly recommend it to friends.
Having driven past this place for over a decade we finally went in for dinner.
The hosts were hilarious and the mood of the room was great. It was spacious and well laid out and the servers were attentive and the service super fast.
The food was very good but at the price you would expect it to have been. Five people $244....only two glasses of wine in that and only 1 entree....
My Five spice Chilli prawns were amazing and all other meals ticked the box. The sesame prawn toast was straight out of a supermarket box, but that was the only glitch.
Good night had by all and will be back for maybe a two person dinner...$$$.

Love this place. San Choi bow is delicious and generous. Salt and pepper squid is lovely and I can't stop eating it. Duck pancakes are spot on; carved at the table and beautifully constructed. Friendly staff and kid friendly!
Great food and place to dine at. Always very authentic Chinese food, come here with friends and relative and they also do very special menu sets for Chinese New Year with the lion dance show. Look forward to coming back again.
Ignore all negative reviews because I do not know what restaurant they visited. Bad service? no way, service was excellent and attentive. Tasteless food? What were they eating, my food was fresh tasty and a delight on the tastebuds. Dated decor? They have been in business for a long time and it is actually about the food not the seat you are sitting on. I will be back for this jewel in Eltham's crown.

Ok but starting to get a bad reputation. The banquet were a little pricey at $53 each. The food was nothing special - just your normal chinese meals.
We all felt like we were getting the rush to at and get the hell out. All the last 3 courses were served at once.
After we declined for coffee the bill was dropped at the table and the waiter stood and waited for. A BIT RUDE...!
Classics done well. This restaurant has been an old favourite of the family for years and we recently went back after a while away. I was looking forward to the classic dishes we had enjoyed previously so ordered san chow bau, sweet corn soup, Peking duck, and a prawn & bok choy dish with rice. The food was wonderful, with these classics executed perfectly. Service was slick as it always is with the consistent mature waiters. Its BYO wine but they're wine list is surprisingly affordable so don't bother bringing your own.
Went for dinner tonight, the staff were extremely friendly and professional! My dinner was amazing and dad had the eye fillet beef with pepper sauce, I can honestly say this was the best beef I have ever had. Very happy!

Love the ambience of this place. The food is exceptionally good, especially the salt and pepper calamari. It is a bit pricey but totally worth it.
Great food and friendly staff I would reccomend anybody to eat there.

Banquet A+. I went here with my White-vegetarian sister and had an awesome meal!
We went for Banquet A with 3 meals changed to be vegetarian, including the fried rice, which we forgot to ask for vegetarian but still came vegetarian and we even changed the dessert for only a $2 surcharge.
The meals were all excellent, prepared at a table just nearby as silver service and all in a timely manner, first course 10-15 minutes and then 5 minute gaps between courses, with no rush to finish.
The start of Prawn toast and spring roll was very authentic, even though I hate spring rolls. 7/10, 6/10
The Vegetarian steamed dumplings were simply epic, they were see-through, mushroomy and hearty, like a warm, thick and fresh filling, three of these each made us VERY happy indeed! 10/10
Chicken and Sweet Corn soup was next and it was your typical fresh tasting, with chicken off the bone and fresh corn creating a very clean broth. 8/10
The next dish was a chicken and cashew stir fry, with some great 'squishy' chicken, if that makes sense... contrasted by vegetables in a fairly light yet nutty sauce that were nicely firm. The nuts added a real twist with mushrooms and despite a few pieces of broccoli being more like bricks, it was a very nice dish, if only just for the satay sauce through the best squishy chicken cuts ever. 8/10
We had a fish dish replacement for the peking beef fillet, which was flake in an onion stir fry, it was so soft that you broke through it with your chopsticks when you picked it up, and I've used chop-sticks before! But this just made it easier to mix with the generous serving of special varied fried rice, which even had mushroom slices and sweet corn slices in it as well as the traditional egg and bean shoots. 7/10
We changed the dessert from banana fritter (I'm not a fan) to the red bean pancake for two, with ice cream and we were NOT disappointed! It was perfect, with sweet red bean paste in a shell of fried awesome and ice cream to match it. I couldn't have eaten 1 more bite of fish, but I would of been able to eat another of those pancakes =D 9/10
Overall at $46 each its not exactly cheap, but for 6 courses + rice and decent sized meals, compared to the main dishes which ranged from 24-36 dollars each, I think its good value for money and I challenge you to walk away without a food belly :)
For classy Chinese Food in the suburbs, you cannot go past it, and the service is quite good, nothing of your stereotypical waiters here, they were very helpful with our special requests and never made us feel like we were in a rush.

Very good food - premium price. Overall a good place to go - food is very good. The service is efficient but lacking a bit in warmth and friendliness. There is a nice lake with rushes and a willow outside if you need to take kids outside to burn off a bit of energy. The only real negative is that it seemed a bit expensive, but there isn't a lot of choice in chinese food in the Eltham area. If you are prepared to go to Box Hill you can get good asian food at a much more reasonable price.
Superb!! This restaurant is amazing, never had a bad dish served, staff are professional and take pride in there jobs. Food is of high quality, not cheap but worth it very much!!!!!!!
Cleanliness immaculate, service superb, pricing as expected for quality food. Yum cha on Sundays is spectacular. Can't wait to eat there again! Well worth the drive from the city.
AWESOME!!. This place is really good!!!we come her every week!its a tradition. The Mongolian lamb is magnificent. Very spacious. The food takes no longer than ten minutes to arrive. As always will be returning

We love you sussan. It was quiet sunday night and me and a friend decided to go down to our local chinese restruant noble house. we started off with two entree delivered to our table by the lovely sussan, entrees being the pan fried shanguai dumplings and the steamed scallops. we indulged in a bottle of cab sav also served by the lovely sussan who topped up our glasses at the appropriate times . we orded our main beef scotch in a fried garlic sauce which sussan served to us which was magnificient. to finish of this great meal for desert we orded the fried ice-cream with chocolate sauce which was a custom order requested to the manager by sussan. overall a great res truant thanks to sussan the sexy little chinese waitress!!!!!!!!!! remember folks ask for sussan as your waitress
Very spacious grounds, welcoming staff, excellent service, and enjoyable food. Not really on the cheap side, but worth every penny.
