Spending our usual Friday night date night at Lezzet was Perfect! We were recommended by clients and it was everything we hoped it to be and more. The staff were all so amazing! Our waiter was so kind...attentive but not over the top..just perfect! The food was so tasty and we could see just how much effort they had put into every element of every dish we had. We loved it and recommend everyone to give it a go!
One of my favourite places to eat -From beginning to end, lezet is superb!
Each dish was delicious and respectfully presented. Ingredients were TOP notch and super fresh! would highly recommend it.
I have been a regular at Lezzet for many years now. It has a fresh, modern yet traditional Turkish vibe which translates to a lovely ambience in the evening. The food is outstanding especially the lamb! There's always something new and exciting to try on the menu too. Great for a date night, meal with friends or to bring the kids along! Would definitely recommend.
The best Anatolian around. It's great how such simple ingredients can be transformed into such eye-catching, mouth watering meals and have a modern Australian interpretation.
Reasonably priced and wait staff are always welcoming.
The best turkish restaurant in Melbourne, period! The staff is very attentive, food is full of flavour and the vibe in general is fantastic.
Food was incredible! Our group of 5 had dips and zucchini fritters to start followed by a board full of different types of Turkish-style meats and sides. I had a seafood claypot which was outstanding! Service was wonderful and very helpful. Amazing food :) Will definitely be coming again!

We were here with a group of friends on Saturday night the food was so great, generous servings that even the 8 adults on the table could not finish it all. Well done on the new decor, fabulous setting!
Famed Turkish restaurant Lezzet really does live up to its hype. The four of us shared the Lezzet Platter and the Meze Platter, and the hits definitely surpass the misses.
Starting off with the Meze Platter, the highlight for me was definitely the cheese cigar. Incredibly flaky filo pastry, stuffed with a wonderfully seasoned filling made up of spinach and fetta cheese.
The meats were all cooked to perfection, and I can't fault any of the items on the Lezzet Platter. Tender and flavourful cuts of grilled and slow-cooked lamb, paired with succulent grilled chicken and piquant sujuk, this was a meat eater's paradise. Also impressive was the Istanbul Lamb. The bold flavours of the lamb went beautifully with the lavash with its crisped edges and soft centre, soaking up all the delicious sauce.
Service was attentive and friendly throughout the night, perfectly rounding off this wonderful experience.
Had an uberEats delivery ordered the beetroot & goats cheese salad and the mushroom croquette it was absolutely delicious!! Crispy mushroomy croquettes and nice salty sweet balance of beetroot figs and goats cheese. Love this place. Can’t wait to try the lamb ribs, chicken and everything else! Top class
My partner and I came here to try the well raved woodfire pizza and it met our high expectations! We tried the sucuk pepperoni and Mediterranean and the flavours were just incredible. Make sure to order the croquettes too!
The decoration of restaurant is lovely and tasteful, clearly a favourite of the locals it was packed full on Friday night. We ordered a variety of dishes to share- lamb ribs, croquettes, seafood clay pot, eggplant and vine leave fish. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, croquette was saucy and tasty. Seafood clay pot was the highlight, packed with fresh seafood all delicately cooked and the rice soaked with flavours. Vine leave barramundi was a little salty. We had baklava sandwich and the cheese pudding for dessert. Baklava was pretty ordinary nothing and the cheese pudding too sweet. Nonetheless the service was excellent the atmosphere infectiously good. Will definitely go back and highly recommend anyone to go.

This place is super cool in person on a warm summer night. Those arches on the left I swear look like another room but it's actually mirror magic. Through dimmi one year we discovered this cool hidden gem on that road that goes to St Kilda, with the tram, hidden from view you'd never expect that it's a super cool Turkish restaurant with "curved sandstone walls, cool textures, moody lighting". They do these awesome meat platters here, perfect for groups!
5 star all the way the food was incredible the best Turkish I’ve ever had. Tried to convince him to open in Sydney 😊 highly recommended booking a must! Will come back again and again.
I came here with a group of 6 and we absolutely loved it. The food and service were both exceptional and Lezzet is definitely a place I will be visiting again soon! Do yourself a favour and make a reservation.
ame here with my husband and we ordered a banquet. Started with dips and bread, onto salads and a few authentic Turkish dishes, then a meat platter and finished with dessert. We basically rolled out of Lezzet, we were so full and the food was ssooo GOOD!! Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Even though it was busy, it still felt like a romantic night out together.
I've been to Lezzet several times as it's a local, however have had mixed experiences for sure.
The first two times we visited were perfect and based on those times I would have given a 5. We were served efficiently, staff were friendly and the food was great.
However the other two times were a bit disappointing as we already had such high standards. My order came out quite quickly however my partners didn't come out forever - it took so long! There was no communication from staff, and my dish was sitting there getting cold, I ended up just eating by myself. For me, that ruined the experience. When my partners order came, we were expecting something great but it under delivered. He ordered the chicken dish which was nice but not worth the price.
Also one time we ordered the pizza via takeaway and it was no good.
However, there are still good things to say about Lezzet. The lamb kofte is divine and everytime I order it, it's served slightly differently but the lamb is always perfect. The zucchini fritters are an interesting thing to be on this sort of menu, but I've had them twice now and they're great. Very fresh and crunchy on the outside.
The kofte that you can get via takeaway (I think Ubereats) is delicious and much better value than the dine in options. Will definitely continue ordering takeaway, but I was slightly put off by the amount of time we waited to eat with no apology and it wasn't even busy.
Been here three times, it was three menus. They kept the house special and continue to change and innovate. Never bored to come back! Food is amazing with big portions, lots of carb and meat. I guess this is Turkish food all about.
I had the lamb and stuffed squid, my boyfriend had the vegetarian one with chickpea and vegie covered with a flatbread. They all taste full of flavour.
With the 50% off on The Fork, I will certainly come back again.
My husband and I have been to Tulum in Balaclava and when we found out that Lezzet was run by the same group, we had to visit. The food was exceptional, the venue is stunning and we had a very enjoyable dinner here.
The Manti dumplings were our favourite starter, it's so impressive to make such small dumplings! For Mains, we enjoyed the Seafood Claypot (one of the top recommended dishes on Zomato, and for good reason!) There was plenty of seafood and it all tasted fresh and well-cooked.
The baklava for dessert was impeccable! Highly recommend.
Had this place recommended by a few friends of mine as they really enjoyed it. So my partner and I decided to check it out. Food was great, service was efficient. Can't say anything bad about it really.
Have heard so much about Lezzet so was very excited when I got the chance to go! Lovely venue, great friendly and informative staff and delicious food. We decided to start with the Mezze Platter for two, this had a mix of olives, fried halloumi, hummus and more. A delicious and light dish to start with. For main we had to try the Istanbul lamb after hearing so much about it and it definitely lived up to all expectations. The presentation was really impressive as it was wrapped in bread, inside was the creamy succulent lamb. Highly recommend this place.
We decided to come here to celebrate our anniversary and Lezzet didn’t disappoint us. Food was great we loved all the dishes. I ordered Ubereats again after 2 days because I was craving for the seafood claypot. Well done guys.
The only thing we were not happy is cocktails took too long to arrive. We were waiting approximately 10-15 mins for one despite the food was really fast. We wanted to have more drinks since they were all yummy but it took too long we decided to go somewhere else.
Our friend has been telling us about this place . She has been coming this to this place like 12x already . She is right , we ordered the Lezzet platter that has all great meat and yummy halumi . The meat are so tender and well marinated , the mixed grain rice is delicious . We only had a 1.5 slot to eat those and we nailed it. We went on Saturday night and packed.
Came we B on a night out and the experience was amazing. The meats were melt in your mouth, the salads were full of flavour and the service was super friendly. Highly Recommend.
Will come back for:
+ Istanbul chicken
+ Seafood claypot
+ Burned rice pudding
The efforts to transform this place into a Turkish domain with it’s curved ceilings are commendable. The massive cooper oven fills the space up with delicious smells. And the food here is just superb. All the flavours were amped up and super delicious. We had the Istanbul chicken which was smokey, charred to perfection and succulent. The bread dome covering the dish a great way to provide a vessel to soak up all the sauces afterwards. The seafood clay pot had a generous selection of seafood that was well cooked and well spiced. And the burned rice pudding was a light and creamy way to round off the meal. Service was also exceptional and fast. Prices of dishes are above average but worth it as the dishes were generously portioned and designed to share. Will definitely be back with friends!
So impressed with our night at Lezzet! The service was super attentive and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was lively and the interior had a very authentic and intimate vibe. We ordered the chef’s favourites platter for our entree and loved everything on it. The Turkish bread was so fluffy and fresh - the best I’ve had in a while and while simple, was the highlight for me. For mains we ordered the walnut paste with grilled chicken dish as well as the Istanbul lamb dish. Both were incredible! My personal favourite was the chicken dish as the walnut paste was creamy and the textures were interesting and well balanced. My partner couldn’t get over how tasty the lamb dish was. Only thing I can fault is that the dishes were a little on the salty side. Would definitely recommend for date night or, even better, with a group so you can try a greater variety of food. I’ll be back to try more of the menu! **one thing is that the menu is different from zomato and their site, management should update this as the menu has a few more options
Came here with high expectations because a lot of people have recommended this place! It was truly amazing I can say :)
- seafood clay pot was amazing and tasted fresh. Really love the flavour.
- Manti dumplings were super cute, like eating pasta.
- Istanbul lamb was the highlight! I’m normally not a big fan of lambs but I really enjoyed this dish!!
Overall the experience was great and the place is perfect for groups and date night. Can’t wait to go back!
Great first impressions... impressive vibe with interesting curved ceilings. We arrived early which was a good move because when we’re leaving this place was jam packed. The service was great at the start and dropped off as they became busy. The food was outstanding... so flavoursome. We ordered seafood clay pot, lamb shoulder and pilaf rice. The after taste and flavours hung around long after we left. So satisfying. We also enjoyed awesome red wine. When we asked for the bill they took a long time to bring the bill. Highly recommended... must try
Lezzet brings fine dining food to a casual Elwood style eatery. We love the great details in the interior and it always feels cosy inside, even when quiet. While they have a great menu, their banquet and feed me style options are where they really shine and they show off their best dishes. The stuffed squid looks amazing and tastes just as good and was a real favourite of ours. Finish off with a traditional Turkish tea too to really set the mood.
Really fantastic place. Genuine Turkish vibe and food. 20 hour slow roast lamb with smoked eggplant is a must. Also great atmosphere and heating on outdoor seats.
We had an amazing lunch today!
Turkish pizza was great. Lamb sumac. Parsley. Lemon.
Stuffed calamari - loved it!
Anatolian Lamb - nice bit surprisingly not our favourite dish of the day.
Sautéed vegetables - wow! Roasted garlic olive oil yoghurt and grated cheese. Fish of the day!
Dessert - we shared a brûlée and Turk cheese sweet party dish with a babe that I can’t recall. But it was fabulous! I actually remember having this for breakfast in Istanbul.
Turkish wine and coffee were both great. Service was faultless. Really nice environment. Can’t wait to go back and try the lamb leg and seafood Claypot!
Another unique restaurant and dining expereince within Melbourne. It was my first time trying the Anatolian cuisine and I was pleasantly surprised. The venue is very cozy and looks a bit oriental but very modern. The staff was extremely friendly and helped me decide since all these new dishes were quite overwhelming for me.We've ended up ordering the Istanbul Lamb, Haloumi Chips, the Atlantic Salmon and a Kazan Dibli. First of all the food was presented really nicely and we didn't have to wait that long either even tho it was a busy evening. The Lamb was my personal favorite, very soft and juicy, not chewy at all. Oh and the desert! I love myself a good Creme Brulee but the Anatolian version might be even better!
Keep in mind this is a fine dining place so prices are a bit up there but reasonable. So if you are looking for a unique fancy dinner date this is the right place to go. Overall a great dining experience in a nice atmosphere. Will visit again!
Finally a place which deserves a full 5: excellent food, service and ambience. It is priced accordingly but not excessively for the quality and correct quantity. It is difficult this days to find such kind of restaurant in Melbourne. All the fare was also presented very well. As a retired professional in the field I can certainly recommend Lezzet. My wife and I will return with pleasure.
The food here is really something special. The seafood clay pot is a winner as is the lamb. Great place to eat with your partner. Will be back soon!
Had the delicious Seafood Clay Pot!
Wow, the Moreton Bay Bugs, the Tiger Prawns, The mussels!
This is just a complete meal, I loved it so much and can't wait to try the rest of the seafood!
Turkish cuisine at its best. The experience we had here was beyond amazing. The dishes are authentic yet modern.Entrée to mains to dessert were all delights to eat.Finished our meal with some beautiful Turkish coffee and Kunefe for dessert.Melbourne.food approves.
Laid back atmosphere with heaps of food, who wouldn’t be happy. We blissfully ordered so much food that it served for 2 takeaways as well. Icli pilaf was a total surprise and the seafood claypot was delicious. We are definitely coming back for trying out more stuff.
Ok, to describe this place is simply wow. Every dish has so much thought behind the process and presentation, and the flavour is simply like something out of this world. Top place.
Loved my food and drinks.. Delicious and exquisite food.. service was quick and staff's were friendly and well knowledged about their food.. Meat was cooked well and falling off the bone.. Serving was filling.. Would definitely go again and recommend anyone who is willing to try Turkish cuisine..
So delicious!! The stuffed calamari was delightful, manti (pasta dumplings) was comforting, and meze platter was a great combo. The Anatolian lamb was nice to share as a bit sweet to have on its own. Really good service, highly recommend
Good, soul-satisfying food and friendly service. We loved the bread (with dips) so much we ordered more bread. The absolute stand-out was the seafood claypot. The flavours are bold and bright, and the seafood is fresh and generous. The Anatolian Lamb, whilst tasty, unfortunately only had a scant few pieces of lamb throughout. We saw how popular the Istanbul Lamb was and ordered it, but it was the weakest dish that night. Though it was stuffed with lamb, the lamb was dry and bland.
Absolutely delicious dishes, every last one of them. Awesome cocktails too. Wait time for food was incredibly short, even during the busy period. Service was exceedingly friendly.
I think my only qualm with this venue is the tight space. The cramped nature of the venue and proximity of neighbouring diners does detract from the dining experience somewhat. Still definitely worth a visit, and repeat visit :P
Great ambiance. Good for families and for big loud groups. Really had that rustic feel. Escape from Melbourne while you enjoy their food. Must try their take on a pizza
Such an amazing experience. Great Turkish place! The food and service were to the point.
Ordered:
Food: Mezze Platter, Grains Salad, Istanbul Lamb, Circassian Chicken and Sautéed Greens.
Drinks: Yeni Raki
The Raki and grains salad stole the show! The platter had some good dishes too. Husband and friends liked the chicken.
Definitely worth the visit.
premium dining ambiance, Authetic Turkish wine food. highly recommended with lamb, best way to order is to ask the well trained staff. so that you can never go wrong. 80 to 100& is an average for 2 pax.
Highly recommended.
Now, I (Christina) am not the biggest red meat eater but for those in a similar situation to me, you still have to give Lezzet Restaurant a go. It would have to be some of the best meat I have ever eaten. Plus, some of the best service you will receive in Melbourne. All food and beverages were provided on behalf of Lezzet Restaurant.
We were very excited to eat here after walking past and reading the menu. We loved the feta and spinach cigars, pretty sure we inhaled them as soon as they hit the table. Between the 4 of us we at the Lezzet Platter for 4 people and main service of the stuff calamari. The food was to die for. Portions were reasonable and we certainly left more than full. Unfortunately we were rush out, as there was a second seating. They also were not impressed when we came with a pram although we let them know at time of booking. Perhaps not family friendly.
Lunch here on Saturday with the hubby. Ordered the Lezzet Platter and we weren’t disappointed. Especially my meat loving husband. The drinks were uninspiring but we couldn’t fault our meal!
Servings sizes are huge. Definitely worth the money. Have to say the seafood clay pot was good, the seafood on there was very generous. Definitely would return.
This restaurant was a treat. Every item was bursting in flavours. Highly recommend it to anyone that is tired of the traditional Turkish cuisine. Service was excellent, ambience was very relaxing. Will be back!
Dined here last night and although it had been about two years between visits, I definitely did not leave one bit disappointed. The food is always amazing and so full of flavour. One word of advice, share and have a bit of everything. With so many pleasing options, it is always so hard to choose!! Service is great. Restaurant is full of good vibes with an intimate interior and a perfect outdoor area for the warmer nights. Will definitely be coming here again, and again, and again :)
Food was good starters were impressive in the 5 courses. The mains were interesting one main was salmon wrapped in a vine leaf. The salmon was really tasty however it did not represent turkish cuisine. The restaurant was aesthetically beautiful, however the acoustics were terrible when the restaurant was busy. We almost left before dessert as we were unable to hear one another. Overall the food was good, but we would advise booking on a weekday.
Starters were amazing to eat . Bread and dips were delicious as much as they could be . Good vibes , amazing ambience.
Main was ok kind .. but over all a good place to wine and dine ..

+4.5
Although the venue was quite loud due to it being full, the food more than made up for that. A great selection to choose from (best to share so you can taste a variety of dishes) with my favourites being the Istanbul lamb, haloumi chips and the chicken but honestly I would eat it all again in a heart beat. Only issue we had was getting another drink, but only because they were so busy, but they quickly helped us once we made it known. A great spot for a group dinner or just for two.
Happened to stumble upon this place from recommendation from a friend. The food here was truly a delight. Go for the set menu or the meat platter. Generous portions and very tasty. The only downside was some of the staff members english is poor as we had trouble communicating to some waiters. Otherwise a pleasant experience and very reasonable priced.
We dined here on a busy Sunday evening. The restaurant is lovely inside and has a nice atmosphere although it was a little warm where we were sitting. We had 3 different waiters and we did feel rushed because they kept coming up and asking the same question. We started with a mezze platter to share, it consisted of lamb and rice deep fried balls, warm Turkish bread, spinach and cheese cigars, and a lentil dish, we particularly enjoyed the lamb and rice balls and Turkish bread. The cigars were too salty and the lentil dish was just ok. Our mains were seafood clay pot with pilaf and Istanbul slow cooked lamb, both delicious. Overall the food was good however the experience was dampened by being rushed by a number of wait staff and the lack of cooling inside.
We ordered the Lezzet Platter for 2 and the manti (beef dumplings). The standouts were the sucuk, haloumi and lamb cutlets. Surprisingly, the slow cooked lamb was a let-down - it was very tender but flavourless. The service could've been better - the waiter did not smile and left our glasses empty for most of the night, but he gave recommendations on what to eat. The waitress was good.
+ Sucuk
+ Haloumi
+ Lamb cutlets
+ Grilled chicken
- Slow cooked lamb
- Service
Being a lover of Turkey since visiting in 2014 i was hesitant to try Turkish cuisine back in Melbourne.
However Lezzet didn't disappoint. The interior reminded me on the restaurants in Anatolia and Istanbul. We had the Mezze dips to start, i could've eaten the dips with a spoon, they were that tasty. Next we had the Cigars, they reminded me of the ones i had everyday for breakfast back in Turkey :) For mains we had the lamb and seafood dish. The flavours in both were so delicious i wish we could've taken the left overs home.
Lezzet fine dine 5 course dinner was sensational, everything from its lamb to fish you can taste the Turkish cross Greek cuisine. We also ordered dumplings like ive never tasted before superb and to wash it down with a great selection of wines.Desserts presentation im to oblivious to descibe so i had to take a couple of photos Atmosphere and service excellent family friendly.
Plenty of parking aswell. A night with lots of food laughter and fun. Thanks Lezzet great work will be back .5/5
One of my favourite places to go eat in the eastern suburbs. Anatolian lamb dish is amazing, think I’ve had it 8 times now! + freshly baked bread to mop up the sauce 👍
We love this place, absolutely amazing food!
The cocktails are fantastic as well. The food is amazing every time. I’m not giving a full 5 stars as they did not take our allergy advice seriously and fed us nuts when one of us was allergic. So watch for that. Apart from that- well worth the vist
Recently revamped and renovated, Lezzet has returned with a new menu offering fine dining Anatolian cuisine in its unassuming Brighton Road restaurant, and we were invited in to try it!. Lezzet sets the balance perfectly for its Elwood clientele offering upmarket surroundings but with a casual feel. The interior is intimate, decorated with many gorgeous items showing the restaurants Turkish heritage. It’s a little dark, but in a good way and the service is seamless.
This place us always a favourite of ours to go as a family with. Be careful if you have allergies though as they served us nuts even though re requested none due to allergies. Other than that, the food is spectacular.
Mouth watering contemporary Turkish flavors, with variety of choices, delicately infused.
I'd love to see more deserts on the menu, like a traditional Turkish kunafa.
We will definitely come back.
The food was delicious. I had a lamb dish that was suceleant. The service was attentive and fast. Great value for money. Definitely plan to go back again.
Awesome service every time I visit Melbourne and the food is amazing. As a person from Sydney I contemplate making special trips to Melbourne just to visit Lezzet 👌🏼
What a spontaneous stunning decision to go to Lezzet specially as a vegetarian, very delicious self made food, specially the dips and a little bit romantic too and beautiful individuals helping you, we see us definitely again. Great job!
Lezzet was a nice restaurant (the inside was very nice especially) and they had great service. Very family friendly but the food wasn't as good as I expected.
My cousin and I were excited to check this out for dinner as there's a real gap on the Melbourne foodie scene for fine dining Turkish cuisine. It was very dimly lit and had a wonderfull ambiance but the generosity of the portion size immediately concerned me. Again, this Zomato menu is out of date and they seem to have bumped up their prices when they renovated. The dips and bread are $16.50 and while I do have a fondness for carbs that extends beyond the norm I don't think this is a shareable serving. Certainly not when you think of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean hospitality. Not sure why fine dining seems to be synonymous with microscopic but there you have it. Diet portions aside there were some good flavours there and the bread was lovely and soft.
I was loving the drinks menu and how you can drink your way around the region with from Morocco to Croatia with a cocktail list comprising traditional flavours from the different counties. For main I had the Istanbul lamb which I quite enjoyed, it was certainly a unique offering when compared to what you will find at other Turkish restaurants in Melbourne. In fact the entire menu was very elegant as was to be expected I suppose given we have 'contemporary' right there in the name and we are tailoring to an Elwood audience after all. I was impressed with the refined composition of flavours but missed the presence of a few rustic homely dishes on the menu. Creatively authentic in a rather delicious way but it didn't necessarily wow me enough for a return trip
Wonderful Turkish food. This is our favourite restaurant in/near St Kilda. The food is great and the new layout after the renovation is very modern.
Spontaneous dinner at this place on a Sat night... it was very busy but we did manage to get a table for 4, the food was fresh and delicious, Istanbul Lamb.. try it! So yummy. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was great! Definitely recommend if you are in elwood neck of the woods and are looking for some dinner!
A great place if you want delicious Turkish food without a hefty price tag. My friend and I shared the zucchini friters and koft for entrée. I preferred the fritters as they were a bit more flavoursome and presented in a nice little lettuce cup. For main we shared the vegetarian clay pot and the beetroot salad. Both were very fresh. The service at Lezzet was excellent. We had a very enthusiastic waiter who knew the menu inside and out (in both english and Turkish let me just add) and assured us that he could help with absolutely anything we needed. I don't think I even need to think twicw about going back...It is happening!
Had the set menus here a few times. The salmon with date paste is amazing and the slow cooked lamb with fig is a close second! I always enjoy eating at this place.
Just saw this place has been renovated or re built or something. It looks amazing now! Havent eaten there yet, just had a drink, but the interiors are just beautiful. All curves and sandstone colours. Dont know what it was like before, but you just want to sit there and sort of 'feel' the room.
Originally this was my review....as I'd only had take-away.
Visited a friend in Elwood and she'd ordered home delivery. I wasnt keen until we opened the packaging and WOW. The flavours and layers of textures were incredible. Just a delicious table full. From wood fire breads to slow lamb and crispy pizza (not Italian style) it had sort of Turkish flavours.
Will definitely do this again
Modern turkish cuisine. Had a fantastic exprerience at this restaurant with gfs. Food was delicious service was fantastic then came 12.30am and they were cleaning around us and allowed us to finish our coffees and drinks!
Easily located on Brighton Road, and with ample street parking both in front of the restaurant as well as down Wimbledon Avenue, Lezzet is a great restaurant to visit for your fix of Turkish cuisine. I was here a few months ago - see here and thought it was time to visit again today to try their Sultan 5-course Sofra Menu.
The staff were friendly, but scarce throughout the night. The dishes started out quite nice, with the Istanbul Lamb being my favourite dish of the night. The dessert was a bit of a letdown as I had high hopes from my last visit.
Check out the review of Lezzet in the blog post below. ...
Thank you to Ebony (on her first night of work at Lezzet!) for helping us out tonight for a birthday dinner with two girls under five - never easy when there's little fingers everywhere and demands for ice cream! We had a lovely dinner -- delicious seafood claypot and lovely wine. I'm looking forward to coming back with more time (and less little people...)
Wow, wasn't expecting this! I went out for dinner with the folks and they chose lezzet, I hadn't heard of it before. Our meals we all amazing. Dips to start with were super tasty, needed more bread though. I also had the Mediterranean pizza accompanied by the haloumi chips. Chips were absolutely delicious, tasty and extra filling. The pizza was really crisp on the flat bread and the ingredients fresh. Can't wait to return to try more!
Service was excellent, particularly the waitress with the short haircut. She made us feel welcome and like we were regulars. She recommended the perfect meal for how hungry we were. The food was well cooked and delicious. The restaurant was more compact than it appears from the street and the noise was a little much at times.
Yum yum yum!!! I've been to this place a few times over the years and the food is just amazing. The 24 hour cooked lamb dish is just amazing and tender. The chicken skewers are perfectly seasoned and cooked. I love how cute this place is and although it may look small from the outside and it's quite big and very comfortable inside. I love their persian fairy floss dessert and although it's really sweet and your probably inviting Mr. Diabetes, it's definitely worth it :)
We love Lezzet, it of course helps that it is basically 2 mins walk from our house, but honestly they serve some of the best Turkish we've had. I love the slow cooked lamb, my fiancé had the seafood claypot which he loved! The cocktails are also lovely. The service was great, all wait staff were friendly and professional. Thanks!
EDIT: we came here again last night after their recent refurbishment and honestly love what they've done with the interiors! Apart from that, the food was as good as ever but I have to say the service was a little slower than we are used to. Having said that, they were fully booked out and managed to accommodate us in the restaurant and brought us inside as soon as a table became available. They really looked after us and made us feel welcome.
