Ugh! Just ordered pizza and 2 black hairs were on the pizza - disgusting. Two separate pieces. Worst first experience ordering. Use a hair tie, hair elastic or wear a hair net.

Love them! Phat Pizza bar is a reliable joint where you can get many treats for cheap, Deliveroo offers $2 delivery and they have a varied menu for all tastes! The crispy chips and the double cheeseburger are the best for me!

Cracking burgers and really great sides. The popcorn Halloumi is addictive goodness and the chips are special. Became my local burger place. They are a fair way ahead of local competitors. PS - try The Obama

A wide range of options - burgers, pizzas, sides like chicken tenders and haloumi popcorn - make Phat Pizza Burger Bar perfect for those night time cravings. Staff were friendly though seating is quite limited. So if it's cold outside, you'll be limited to a couple small tables inside. Based on what I saw, they rely heavily on take away and Uber Eats/Deliveroo. Regarding the food: the quantity offered, along with the quality of ingredients and the price, make this place amazing! The burger I ordered was the spicy one and it was juicy, tasty, and had just the right amount of kick to it. The chicken tenders were well seasoned though could've used a side dip, the haloumi popcorn was a pleasant and the chips were good. We also had a small double cheese burger. While it was good, could've used more sauce. Overall, definitely recommend for burger fans in the area!

Fast service, kind staff, nice atmosphere, Food looks amazing, however it is quite bland. We brought the Phat Mac, TLC and Mac N Cheese. Phat Mac was hot and juicy, but lacked flavour, TLC was nice just a bit too much cheese sauce, Mac N Cheese tasted like overcooked pasta with no cheese. Nice experience but I wouldn't come back for the food.

Burger was awesome, juicy heaps of flavour, loved it! But the zucchini chips were a let down. I think the oil was too cold so they were greasy on the outside and soggy in the middle.

Do yourself a favour and grab the phat potato! Great combo of potato cake, beetroot and juicy beef patty. Awesome staff and lovely venue

Phat makes some of the biggest, fattest and dirtiest (in a good way) burgers you'll ever have! Check out the Phat Turk that comes with its own bowl of lamb gravy! Quality burgers that'll leave you satisfied and crazing for more at the same time! Food minion recommends!

After seeing all the social media posts of this place, had to make some time to come in. So my missus and I made some time to go. Food was really great and the staff their are awesome. Great experience.

I went there for a phat feed a few weeks ago with the missus. I had the Hot Chic, very good, cant complain. Juicy, big, crispy chicken, spicy but not too spicy- everything you want. Only disappointment was the quantity of the chips, quite small for the price. <br/>Overall, I will go back and I’ll try a shake next time and maybe even a pizza but I do prefer burgers over pizzas.

Love coming here on Friday lunch break in work as a treat! The burgers and pizzas are equally delicious and always consistent. It’s hard to pick a favourite so I would have to say the Phat Bang that comes with beef and crispy fried chicken. It’s a totally feast and worth every bite!

*Uber Eats Review*<br/>Glad we ordered takeaway because the seating is quite limited. Food arrived quickly and the burgers held together well even with the travel time. My friends had all positive feedback about their burgers (the PHAT with cheese was the favourite) but I absolutely loved my chicken wrap. The chicken was so tender and plenty of it inside. <br/><br/>We'll definitely be ordering from here again, likely to try the pizzas next time.

I almost cried the chicken tenders are so dam succulent, lamb wrap and burger was absolutely divine compared to some of the burger places around. Great for hangover 👌 seeing you soon again phat

Came here to grab a quick bite and ordered the Phat Chick burger and Mac & Cheese Bites. The Burger combo was simple but quite tasty. The southern fried crispy chicken breast was tender and juicy.<br/>You can't go wrong with Mac and Cheese Bites. Also, their shakes are amazing!  Especially the Cookies and Cream shake.<br/>I will come back to try some more things from their menu!

Sometimes my friends and I can't decide between Pizzas and Burgers so this place is a Godsend. Because they excel at BOTH! <br/>I had the PHAT With Cheese, a classic take on a cheeseburger and it was delicious. Paired with the PHAT Butcher pizza, this was a match made in heaven! Plenty more pizzas, and plenty more burgers to be enjoyed here at FAT!

Definitely one of the better burger options on the SE side of Melbourne.  Serious portions sizes for when you really want to smash something filling!

Was invited in here andHad a super experience whilst visiting here, the burgers were fresh and tasteful. Everything was made fresh and was super tasty. My personal favorite was the halloumi bites which I missed out on getting a picture of because I was too busy eating them haha. The only downside was that the venue was a little small but that's not a matter when they have outdoor seating.

I love the Phat Chick burgers from this place. It’s a southern fried crispy chicken breast with cheese, onion, lettuce, tomato and mayo. So simple but very tasty. I wish the chips and cheese was made with real cheese and not liquid cheese, it tasted a bit fake but I would still recommend this place for the burgers. Also available to order on UberEats.

Discovered this place through a voucher. The food was was good, the shakes and burgers - but sadly the slow service let it down. We waited quite a while for two meals.

This place have outdoor & inside tables and also sells beers. <br/><br/>I had phat N spicy and phat chic.<br/><br/>Both were amazing. Beef patty & chicken patty were perfectly cooked, especially the chicken patty is soooo huge, vegetables inside were so fresh not soggy or old. <br/><br/>There special sauce in the burger is also beautiful.<br/><br/>I had pizza here before but I prefer burgers :) <br/><br/>They also have special deals like free chips on Tuesday with burger so don’t miss it! <br/>

Great place for casual burgers and pizza. Best for takeaway or a quick bite as it doesn’t have a lot of seats. In saying that, easily sat out group of 10 people. Warming. Burgers here are massive. My fave was the triple cheeseburger. Keeping it classic.

Quality of burgers is great. Been a few times and it's never disappointed. Vego burger is the best vego burger I've had. zucchini fritters and haloumi - delicious! The phat n spicy burger is also great. Staff are awesome. They always give my dog a treat :)

Disappointing experience overall. Chicken not cooked (burger was thrown out), pizza base soggy and watery thick shakes. Would not recommend.

I was searching through Zomato and found my fave burger joint! Absolutely loooooove Phat! I’ve been coming since they’ve opened and I could literally eat it daily. Very fresh, great meat, you can tell they use good produce. The boys in the kitchen are wonderful (not sure what that other reviewer was talking about cause I’ve been to Phat countless times and have never witnessed anything unsanitary or even remotely sus) the desserts are also delicious! Do yourself the favour and grab a burger from these guys (and some haloumi bites mmmmm)

Was looking forward to trying this place as I’m a big fan of it’s sister restaurant Lezzet next door. Put in an order for a takeaway burger and had to wait nearly 30 mins for it to be cooked. The wait gave me plenty of time to watch the guys working in the open kitchen. Some incredibly poor hygiene standards. Staff handling cash then not washing hands, then straight after, with their bare hands not only preparing food but putting their hands all over the chicken pieces and chips in the warmer. I mean like literally picking them up and squeezing to see if they are hot and putting them in a tray to take out to unwitting customers. All of this where a pair of tongs is literally 15 cm away but not used. Oh and the guy literally picked out and ate one of the cheese bites out of the customers meal!<br/><br/>Burger tasted ok but was extremely sloppy and was just mush by the end. <br/><br/>Worst part was the fry chef gave me an extra bonus in my burger. A rock hard piece of muck from the grill which must of been not cleaned properly all day and nearly broke my tooth. See picture. Do yourself a favour and go to StKilda Burger bar across the road until they clean up their act.

Had a Phat Potato my partner ordered the Phat w Cheese. Great flavour the buns and cheese make the burger. Meat is good quality.. Highly recommended!

Really small venue with only a handful of tables inside and outside but is worth it with the quality of burgers and food that they pump out!!

Burgers, pizza and souvlaki all from the same venue. Genius move and love every bit of this place. Nothing to fault in terms of food quality.

I loved this place! It has quality food and great service. I also love that you can choose from burgers, pizza or sides or you can sit next door at Lezzet and indulge in delicious Turkish food and cocktails while listening to traditional Turkish music.

Phat burger bar what a great selection of food .All the beef is angus and chicken is free range high quality meats here guys. Had there signature popcorn haloumi just amazing cheese cooked on a different level I have never tasted haloumi cooked like this before. The burgers here are awsome from the nibbler cheese burger to the bonanza size phat mac burger. What Ive really got to say about this place the burgers dont break apart in your hands so you enjoy your burger from start to end. Must be the buns they use . Service was fast and family friendly. They also make pizzas here will give it a go next time I pop in great work Phat burger bar. Thanks will see you soon.

It's nice to have real foodies instead of kids flippin burgers. The menu is quite large and we've had burgers and pizzas 3 times. Once via home delivery where it went smoothly. Meals have been delicious and fresh. Try the haloumi chips and leave room fir dessert. (3 choices, yum)

Finally tried this place out after seeing some good pics on Facebook I got the phat burger with bacon with chips and a drink on arrival it looked pretty good they served mine and my girlfriends burger on the same tray which was a bit silly so anything that fell out of my burger ended up on there table.. burger was ok but after being to many burger places in Melb it’s on the lower end of the scale the patty was too thick and the middle of it was still pink and the chips some were hot and some were barely warm if you want people to come back don’t be serving chips that have sat there for 30 mins potato is cheap so no need to be stingy..

Bringing the best of both worlds, burgers and pizza - this place is a great addition to the Elwood area. Situated next to Lezzet Restaurant, the burger bar is run by the wife of the famous Turkish restaurant next door. Juicy patties and great sauce and an all-round great package. Not a heap of seating available, but with the space available next door, there could a few extra seats if needed.

This place had a lot to live up to with amazing burger and pizza joints in the area. Unfortunately the gamble to open shop has not paid off. The burgers had no flavour (low quality mince) and the chips were soggy. We won't order from here again.
