If you want real Desi or Pakistani food than this is the right place to be!
we rocked up there on a Saturday night with a few friends, of course unplanned but were extremely glad that we went to Shaahi for dinner.
Some of the dishes that is highly recommended, chicken biryani, goat karahi, lahori fish, chicken 65 and not forgetting to mention their soft and fluffy naan breads, super delicious.
We ended our meal with kheer and mango lassi's which was super tasty.

Ordered lamb shank ()14.90), cheese garlic naan ($4.50), beef briyani ($13.90) and pappadum ($3). All the dishes were so good, I loved the lamb shank with its gravy, great if you’re not great with spice. The briyani was a little more spicy and great with the raita (yogurt) sauce on the side. The naan here is super fresh too. Worth a visit!

Went in to get takeaway tonight however ended up dinning in! Me and my girlfriend decided to get takeaway from here and watch a movie at home. The place was almost full with diners and the beautiful aroma of the amazing looking food in everyone’s plates made us settle for dine in instead as well.
Asked the wait staff what the person next to us was having as it looked so appetising and smelt so nice.
It was chilli cheese naan, Kashmiri rice and chicken Karahi with mango chutney on the side.
We ordered the exact same plus the chicken 65 as entree which was a massive serving more than enough for the 2 of us!
Food was so nice and very fresh, we really enjoyed it.
For dessert we got mango lassi to go for both of us and it really helped with washing down the yummy food.
Amazing place to dine in this cold weather as the curries have a real kick to it!!
Reasonable price, Authentic spices, generous serve and excellent customer service. Amazing ambiance and tastiest indian food in all of Sydney. Would recommend it to everyone, if you want tastiest indian food, you must try this. This restaurant is a hidden gem, would rate it 10 stars if they were available. After a horrible experience next door, this restaurant moved me to tears with joy as it has the genuine spices in all their dishes. Finally a taste of home.
Wow not only a pretty place with amazing wall papers of Pakistani sculpture but also very authentic food and flavours as well. Comfortable setting and family friendly environment.

good food in the buffet. very fresh and topped up regularly. $19.99 extremely cheap for so much food. $100 fed the 5 of us from entree, main, salads and desserts.
Best customer service and super tasty food. What more could you ask for. The food was so good and very friendly wait staffs. I was very impressed as they took care of the fine details from the start to the end. Would definitely be paying them visits in future. Thumps up!!
Very good restaurant for Indian/Pakistani cuisine. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. The food was tasty and buffet price was so so reasonable considering the location of the restaurant which is near Newtown a very happening area and jam packed in the weekends. .
The normal menu items are also reasonable. Very good range to choose from.
One of the best Indian/Pakistani restaurants that i have dined at. The flavours are awesome, presentation decent, food was served piping hot. The bet part was the sides that they gave at no extra cost, like mint chutney, chopped onions, mixed pickles etc. Very neat clean and tidy as well. Definitely recommended.

Really authentic Pakistani food. These guys rock. Haleem, Nihari, Lahori Murgh Choley and the Peshwari naans are some of the dishes we have tried and definitely recommend if you after good Pakistani food - similar to what you would get in a typical restaurant back home.
Very reasonable price plus superb service. They gave us like chopped onions, chilli and papadums upon request and did not even charge for it. Now that’s called great service!!!

My advise for you to enjoy the dishes here is to come with enough cash and lots of appetite and appreciation for spicy dishes. Armed with Sydneyguyrojoe 's review we booked early, ordered within their price bracket. Must admit we were pleasantly surprised. We started with Sheesh Kebab for the entree which portion wise looks more like mains. The pepper is a bit overpowering otherwise it is very flavoursome.
For the mains we ordered Haleem and Nihari. Being meat lovers we really appreciate their Nihari which reminds us of Indonesian Beef Rendang. The beef is so tender and perfectly marinated. The Haleem is a bit of let down as we can't really taste the chickecn which was mentioned as one of the ingredients. The mixed lentils taste more like pumpkin to me.
Their plain naan is as described - plain. Would strongly recommend ordering other flavoursome variety such as garlic or chili cheese.
The Wow factor which is the only reason why it gets our 4.0 score is their desserts. The Rasmalai blows our mind. The easiest way to describe it is soft, spongy, creamy and of course sweet. Their Pista Kulfi is also very nice, reasonably soft and sweet.
Really delicious food, reasonable price and decent portions. It fed my family of 4 for under $75.

Simply amazing food and exceptional service. We ordered and tried all the traditional dishes on the menu such as lahori fish fry, nihari, haleem, lahori murgh choley and everything was way above expectation!
It is very difficult to find authentic food these days however Shaahi has it all and is highly recommended.

Went for unplanned dinner on a Friday night with some mates. Beautiful ambience and friendly staff (service with a smile).
We ordered a whole heap on entrees like tandoori chicken, samosa chaat, seekh kebab, lahori fish fry etc. It was simply delicious and came with sides like mint sauce, pickles and raita.
We were extremely full with the entrees that we decided to go easy on the mains.
Best butter chicken i would say, so creamy and not overly sweet unlike some places that do it in Sydney. Their naan breads were very very soft and fluffy.

Just consumed another home delivery from Shaahi, and feeling very satisfied. The food is properly spiced (ie has a good amount of heat), and is excellent value. The curries are full of meat and veg, and not just thick gloopy sauce, the samosas are excellent, naans fluffy and the slight char on tandoori chicken is to die for. My personal fave is the rice - rice you say? Yes, its super long grain and has an amazing fermented smell, like Persian rice... try the one with peas!! If I wasn't already stuffed I'd order more. The only reason I've not given a higher rating is due to the curries being a little oily (for me anyway), although I know that's the traditional way.
This place is amazing. The samosa chaat is so delicious and addictive, the chicken tikka and tandoori chicken are fresh, hot, and tasty, and the dhaal is great. Love ordering in from here or going there for dinner.

My family and I recently visited this placed with a Groupon voucher. To my surprise, the three course dinner was fantastic and we all left feeling very satisfied. The entrees of the chicken tikka & seekh kebab were heaps bomb & I actually don't usually like gulab jamun but Shaahi Tandoori's dessert was amazing!
Can confidentially say that this is the best Indian Pakistani eatery in Sydney.

Absolutely mind blowing food and great service!!!! Special mention to the chicken tikka and chilli cheese and garlic naan. Tikka was full of flavours and it was right throughout not just coated. Naan so soft and well cooked. Would definitely recommend this place! Will be surely back for more!
Commendable Service & Delicious Food
Trying different cuisines is my hobby! I have travelled a lot and this has given me an opportunity to try various types of food. I was seeking an authentic Indian food outlet in the inner West hence, I went to Shaahi Tandoori with my family. So much love and effort was put in the preparation and presentation of the meal that we were all thoroughly impressed. The taste was delicious and everything looked really fresh and steaming hot. Highly professional and friendly staff made the ambience wonderful & much comfortable. Would say that this is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. Would highly recommended this place. Good job and be consistent with your impeccable quality and services guys.

I have been here couple of times and I would definitely recommend this place. I have not tried everything on their menu however whatever I have has always been outstanding. 10/10 for customer service and efficiency.
The place is clean, tidy and hygienic along with great selection of music videos that they play for entertainment. My partner could not stop watching whenever we there!!!
Some of the things that really stand out on the menu are chilli paneer dry, their Kashmiri naan, Kashmiri palao, karahi chicken. These are our favourites and we tend to order them over and over again. Not forgetting to mention the fabulous dessert, pistachio kulfi – one of the best that we have tried.
I think it’s really good value for money and you get to enjoy home style cooked meal which is not too overly spicy and just the right balance of spices.
Delicious, authentic Indian food at extremely affordable prices. Extremely good service and atmosphere is really good as well. We ordered fish tikka that came on a sizzling plate yummm!!!! Also for mains we had goat karahi - tender meat and full of flavour and also the honey butter chicken.
Something different on the menu - chillie, cheese and garlic naan which was the highlight of our meal. We could not stop talking about how good it was.
Plus they have some really good deals going on everyday and half price curries for dine in on Tuesdays!

Dinner here last week with my partner and we both really enjoyed it. The dessert (kulfi) was just sublime.... worth going back just for dessert. Would be a great place to pick up takeaway if you lived close. Recommended.

Great food and ambience. Really reasonable prices as well. Great place for dine in. We also ordered takeaway which was the same great taste and quality. Really impressed with the level of focus these guys place on customer service, which is quite uncommon in most Indian restaurants around the area.
Shaahi Tandoori is great value authentic Indian/Pakistani food in Enmore. The portions are quite small but it’s a good chance to try extra dishes. The butter chicken and goat biryani were standouts but every dish we tried was nice.
It was a nice dining experience with family.. Inviting warm interior decor & very clean environment. The waitress was attentive, prompt & friendly. Food was served fresh & quick. Each dish had distinctive aroma. Servings were in generous portions & reasonably priced. Would love to visit again & also try the buffet sometimes soon.

Such a hearty and delicious meal! We were able to order so many different things to share and we were absolutely stuffed, even with leftovers to take home and yet the price was quite cheap! The female owner was so lovely and attentive. Thank you!!
Food is unreal every time. Amazing Karahi chicken. My partner has the eggplant curry, not sure of the name but that's also delicious. I'm from the UK and found Sydney to be hit and miss with Indian food but not this place.
