Awesome place for breakfast and great coffee! Really nice portion sizes too :)
Great cafe! Great food and service. Waitress was really helpful and even let me change my order even though I had already placed it and 15minutes had passed by and it was being prepared. Would love to visit again when I need come to Syd!
Great caffe & amazing staff that are always efficient. Love the food & atmosphere
Great fresh and delicious food, fast and friendly service...highly recommend!!!
Best coffee around and best owner/team running it !!!!
Best all day breakfast in the area! 🍳🥓 Lovely, friendly staff make it feel like home every time you visit
Fabulous coffee, generous food portions and friendly staff. A favourite!
Very hearty breakfast. Good selection. A bit high on price. The service is great too.
It is campos coffee, so it is consistent. The muffin is more like a pie with most of its filling inside. Very interesting. Epping does not have a big presence of coffee culture and this is probably the best spot to grab a cup. I see Xihuahua 🐶 frequenting this in the near future.
Small lil nook in Epping that’s been one of our usuals. The food and place is about comfort and community. Makes you feel at home. Very friendly staff, campos coffee, comfort food. A beautiful place to start your day on a positive note! One of our brekky weekend favourite.
Food quality is good, and drink is sweet. The price is a bit higher than regular cafes. The opening hour is quite a pain in an arse, and they seem not care. Better to swing by when you swing by Coles - I wouldn't travel to this cafe due to very irregular hours. The affogato is quite serene, but it is $3~ $3.5 more expensive than other cafes within the metro.
I am a Coffee Lover, with less and less Cafes remain in Epping, I will say Topiary is now the best in Epping.
The Topiary Deluxe meal is so tasty that I always want to come back. The Cappuccino is also attractive for those who love relatively bitter coffee.
Meal plus a coffee cost around $20 per person.
Cute little cafe in the busiest part of Epping. It has an awesome atmosphere and the service is good. The food is decent and I love that there are plants as decor. It livens the place up and brings some nature back. It's a nice place to grab a quick bite. I'd definitely I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a place to relax.
...seated outdoors and under the shade of their large brollies, I ordered an Eggs Benedict ($17.40). The poached eggs, wilted spinach, Hollandaise sauce served on sourdough toast with smoked salmon (choice of ham or bacon also available) was delectable but would have been even better should the toast have been slightly softer.
Cafe Topiary is one of the few nicer cafes around the Epping area. It's not hard to find as it is located just in front of Coles on Rawson St. They have a cute patio area where people come with their pets for a cup of coffee every now and then but on this crazy rainy day, we opted for the warmth and coziness of the indoors. They use the famous Campos coffee. first introduced to me by one of my good friends when I was still sipping hot chocolates. The cappuccino had plenty of chocolate on top which I love love love scooping up and eating before even drinking the coffee. It could have been hotter though, so if you get a chance to try this place out, ask for 'extra hot'! The Man, being the man, chose the Topiary Breakfast (big breakfast). They gave us an abundant amount of eggs and bacon, and the tomatoes were grilled to perfection. The only cons about this dish was the very thin bread and the overly fried hash browns that was all skin, no flesh. The best hash browns I've eaten so far are
For a busy Sunday morning, our coffee and food were ready in no time at all. All of it was great! For those that don't want to spend the money here, then just don't come here and complain. They aren't forcing you to eat here! Staff are friendly, coffee is good, family friendly, I love it.
Not so good long black. Ordered a longblack and flat white for my friend here. The order came quickly which was pleasing. The blend of coffee they were serving was Campos coffee. It had a very interesting taste though. Don't know if the beans were stale but the coffee tasted a little like car tyres.. not the most enjoyable long black I've had.
Nice brekky. We love "Topes", which has great eggs benny and killer omelettes. Campos coffee is a major plus, but you need to jag the better baristas. Just make sure you ask for coffee on the hotter side or you may be disappointed. Good cafe overall, just make sure you book as it gets very busy, even through the week. Give it a crack for sure.
Scrumptious food, friendly staff and the best coffee in Epping!
Great coffee and the food is very good as well. Coffee is campos. I usually drink espresso here and they are always great. Service is excellent. At busy times it can get very noisy when seated inside.
For all day breakfast. yummm.. Best place ever for eggs benedict. Having discovered it around march, has become a weekly 'must go' and its popularity is on the rise for sure - bookings are becoming more normal on weekends :(
Must have = eggs benedict for perfectly poached eggs. Lemon & sugar pancakes with maple syrup & icecream (from serendipity ice cream :D). Portions are pretty decent given the price and taste. The affogato is good too - personally haven't had the other coffees though other reviews have raved about it. As I'm more a breakfast person (hard to find good decent all-day breakfast places), have yet to venture into the lunch menu.
A warning though, if you come in larger groups, things come out at the same time so the wait could be long (and the stuff not as 'hot') so probably to come in groups of maximum four. They're awesome because they don't mind dividing up the servings for you if you tell them you're sharing - pretty flexible and overall nice place to just chat.
Definitely a favourite :DD
The cafe is located in epping, a bit hard to find it, because there is tree surroundings in front of it. The environment is great if you ate in outside, you can enjoy the brunch in the small garden.
I ordered the Topiary sourdough special with a cup of mocha , the taste is good and wait about 5-10 mins, the staff is nice also, and I loved the roasted pumpkin , also the smashed avocado is good. The mocha is good , not very special , standard
OVERALL, I enjoyed the meal at this cafe
Nice little cafe tucked away in a busy suburb. Good coffee and service. Food was tasty too, but perhaps leaning towards the more pricy range in comparison to other nearby cafes. Interior is clean and family friendly. Great for weekend breakfast and/or brunch.
The best omelette in the whole town!! Just so delicious!! With Gluten free bread well made it was such a great food experience! Service was also very nice and timely!
I wish I could give one more star! Thanks Cafe Topiary!
Cozy coffee shop in Epping.Sitting in the balcony to face coles' s park with so many trees is wonderful. Banana bread with cinnamon butter is the best bread I've eaten in syd. Service is also good. Coffee is a little bit bitter for me, which is the only cons.
Pleasant secluded setting with open air verandah. Excellent service. Went in for coffee then the homemade carrot cake took my eye. Lunch and breakfast menu looks interesting enough to return.
Excellent atmosphere, very green feeling. Good coffee and tasty breakfast food.
