Review Cafe De Hayley - Epping

Alex Concepcion
Ambience and staff: Warm and inviting. Best to visit on breakfast brunch late lunch under a good weather. Quite a nice "hidden" spot near Epping Station. Coffee: Definitely good and up there for Aussie standards. Food: relative to the price, unspectacular. The eggs Benedict was good albeit the price. I can imagine getting something better elsewhere for the same amount. The salmon omelet on special was disappointing and felt I could've made it better myself (which is not something you want to feel when dining out).

I come here almost weekly for breakfast/lunch with my mum, the service is always lovely and polite, food is consistently good, I can order the same thing 4 different times and it's always as good as the first time. Presentation is top notch, always served in a timely manner. It's always busy but they do a great job at keeping everything clean and tidy. I can't complain about anything here. It's great!

Probably the best coffee in the area! This cozy cafe has left the best impressions! Hospitable staff! Beautiful presentation of food, wide menu list and wonderful AVO TOAST. I recommend to everyone! I will probably come back here again and again.

The food here is incredible and high quality for its price and the service (especially the barista) is efficient and kind. It's a wonderful spot to go with your loved ones and I recommend this cafe to everyone.

First timer. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good mocha. Perfectly cooked poached eggs on the Hayley's Benedict with bacon. Served with fresh salad.

Extremely polite staff, food's delicious + well priced + served quickly. Coffee is made quickly even during peak periods. The staff saw me finishing off some fries as I entered and offered to change a menu item to include salad instead of fries because they realised I wouldn't want more which was very thoughtful of them.

Yummy food with reasonable price. It’s dog friendly cafe. There is water bowl at the front.

I live nearby so I come quite often for their coffee, which to me is one of the best in this area :) Their food is standard for most cafes, good and reasonably priced too.

Cafe De Hayley is a great addition to Epping’s cafe scene as this area has not been known to have good cafes.

the cafe has a good breakfast and lunch menu paired with coffee from seven miles coffee roasters. their barista Peter (ex curl the whisker, Thornleigh) is not a new face in Sydney coffee scene. Hence you can expect some great quality coffee including rotating single origin coffees from different roasters. Peter also commands a terrific latte art skills.

On my visit, I tried Ethiopian Mitiku Shanto Guji roasted by Disciple coffee Hustlers ( Monk bodhi dharma) from Melbourne as a filter. Ethiopian coffees are known for their floral aroma and this one was no exception.

If you are in the area, do visit this place for some good quality coffee and food.
