amazing food delivery all good, will order, again stay safe
Definitely the best groove train I’ve been to. Recommend trying this one.
Came here with friends recently. The food was good and full of flavour. However staff seemed a little slack. We sat at the table for 1h30m after our food was finished, and no one too our plates away the whole time. They spent more time discussing the spelling of meter/metre and which was correct for the sign they’d just put up. Will probably be trying a different branch next time.
What a great place. Food is amazing! the "ElaRe burger" is rated once of the best. On the Special menu. Value for money, clean and generous portions. Great meeting place and A1 deserts. Highly recommended venue in the north. For a group of first time mums with a heap of prams they were so accommodating and made us feel welcome. Will def be back
Staff are very friendly and helpful - they will always be able to find a table for us which is baby-friendly. Good food with decent serving size
This place is nice and cosy, big and spacious. There is lots of seating even if you go with a large group. Has outdoor seating as well which is good. Had lunch there today and I ordered the main which was the beef and bacon burger meal (double beef). It's was $25 which I thought was a bit pricey but I wanted to try it anyways. Visually it was outstanding. As they say you eat with your eyes. I cut my burger in half and took my first bite. The Angus patty was very tasty, thick and soft kinda melt in your mouth, the bacon was ok. I like mine crispy but it was tasty enough. The brioche bun didn't look fresh as when I was taking a bite and cutting it, it was a bit crumply as I had some fall off and onto my serving board. The burger overall was nice. Mine was a bit dry as it lacked a bit of sauce. Extra sauce on any burger goes a long way. It was still a good burger but I found myself having to drink after every bite to down the burger. The chips were nice and crispy, the freshly squeezed juice that they have on offer is a very nice and refreshing @ $7 a glass is not bad.
Staff were friendly and helpful, ordered a bit too much food and couldn't finish it but it was delicious. Had the club sandwich among a few starters. The only complaint was the eggplant fries, not my cup of tea. But will definitely visit again!
To be honest, prices are a little expensive for the quality. It looks like pub food.
The atmosphere is very hit and miss. The tables are too close together to be honest, we could hear everything the table next to us was saying. Getting up to go to the bathroom is awkward. Having to squeeze between their table and ours. Some spots however look more spacious than others. This is an important factor when considering the whole dining experience.
Service is also a bit hit and miss. I've been here a few times now and experienced both poor and great service.
The food is quite average. Nothing fantastic but it's not terrible.

I have the corn frittata with salmon the corn frittatas were a little bit dry but the rest of my dish was fantastic. Coffee always good too.
Came in on a Friday morning, was greeted promptly and sat down. The waiter notified me of the specials and offered a drink straight away. Service started off very well. Another waiter came not long after and took my order. He was very clear and prompt. My cappuccino was well made. The ambience of the place is very chill and the music is at a good level. The pancakes I ordered were nice and fluffy and the berries were sweet. My only grievance is that the specials flyer did not tell me what was in each special and I had to look at the menu to find out what it included other than that everything was good. It was a good start to my morning
I had a group dinner here on a Friday night and the service was prompt and friendly. I shared the pan fried gnocchi and eggplant chips with a friend and that left us full. I couldn't imagine myself finishing it off on my own. The eggplant fries were nice and crispy. I imagined the pan fried gnocchi to have some crisp on the side it was pan fried but it was all the same doughy texture. Maybe it was from the thick sauce that softened the seared side so I was a bit disappointed.

I had the Grooves mixed grilled plate .... Shared my meal with my daughter, meat cooked nicely and chips and salad complimented. Definitely will come back.
Service was prompt.
One of the top groove trains (yes I've been to them all). They serve food one time and the presentation never fails. Love the chicken focaccia and Nutella strawberry calzone yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm 🍓
A convenient and reliable restaurant for catch ups. Went here for dinner on Boxing Day last year and was quite impressed by how quick the service was, and by my dish.
We were greeted by lovely and vibrant staff upon our arrival. The environment was quite relaxing with a modern-day decor.
The menu has a selection of food to suit anyone's appetite. I began with the Duo of dips which was a delicious starter. The capsicum dip was absolutely splendid, bread fresh and crisp. The main course 'Pumpkin and spinach risotto' had been executed perfectly.
Thank you for a pleasant afternoon!
Foods ok - hit and miss i say? Sometimes the salad has too much dressing sometimes the eggs cooked beautifully.
Service - great! Girls are friendly and quite down to earth.
Happy to come back just for a coffee on a nice day!
Don't see how there is so many bad reviews on this place
I go to Groove Train all the time and the staff is friendly and welcoming
I sit outside and usually served by the same 2 girls , one with short blonde hair and the other a tall girl with darker hair , who always know my order, staff are very attentive and never muck up my meal
Have always had great experiences with food and the family loves this place!
Definitely worth trying !
Much better than expected.. Epping's subdivisional standards shocked me- in a positive way. My younger sister requested a medium well done porterhouse steak in beef jus with wedges in replacement of the original kipfler potatoes. For a petite 11 year old, I was proud of her hearty efforts; fascinated by her protein ploughing whilst I was nibbling away at my most fancifully seasoned eggplant chips. The house made garlic aioli slaughters the Groove branch in Chapel street. For dessert we opted for the (extra) Nutella calzone, strawberries and ice cream. Thoroughly impressed, stuffed and definitely reconsidering another midweek local repeat. My sister's presence is saintly.
Pretty decent. Tried this place for Sunday lunch today and checked out Urbanspoon and was a bit wary of the 36% rating but it was a nice sunny day and my husband and I wanted to sit outside.
We were asked to sit anywhere within seconds of walking into the foyer and recieved menus instantly, the waitresses were polite and efficient without being too overtly friendly and overbearing (one of my hospitality pet hates) the pizzas came out hot and fresh and the antipasto platter was generous and I was pleased with the quality. All up there were no negatives with our first experience, I see some reviews here and cant believe people complain about a bit of spilt coffee on a saucer, i would think nothing of it but I notice alot of spoilt diners who nitpick at everything these days.I dont understand the low rating and I've been to many restaurants/cafes like this place and in my experience it was very positive. Will be back.
New to the area and discovered the groove train recently. First impressions were very good I must say. Great customer service from the get go, with friendly staff. I ordered the fish of the day( rockling) and it was amazing! Highly recommended.
I was at Epping Groove train last night and it was packed! The service and staff were terrific. Considering that it was packed we still got our food at a reasonable time....and it was delicious! I can't understand the petty negative comments. It's funny how some people don't like waiting a bit longer for their meals but have all the time to waste writing ridiculous comments.
This is by far the best groove train I've ever been too. Great service, great food and great atmosphere.
I went there today and was served by a girl with red hair, had a lovely chat while enjoying my coffee and cake.
Definitely recommend this place!
Just enjoyed the most delicious Warm Thai beef salad here at the grove train in Epping. This place is fantastic with such a warm and inviting atmosphere, I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK the food is amazing !!!!. :D
Loves it. I came into groove train today with a girlfriend for breakfast, it was a first time for me I was pretty interested in trying it out as my girlfriend had recommended it. I can honestly say it was a pretty decent breakfast that I have had at a restaurant in a while. it was pretty full at the time especially for breakfast but it gave it a great live atmosphere . we were taken to our seats right away as asked for any drinks or coffee by the waitress who had the biggest smile looking so happy to be there. without even looking around to grab a waitress attention we were soon looked after .. food came in a blink of an eye which was fabulous, I enjoyed my meal very much the eggs benedict with bacon tasted perfect. after finishing our meals we were offerd more drinks or coffee which I thought was great. the service here is great , staff always asking if everything was okay and if we needed anything and having genral conversation with the customers. and everyone around working very hard even in peek hour. as we were leaving we got offered to become members of the groove train where the manager gave us a run down on monthly specials which was excellent because some people don't know that's on offer, and also that on our birthday we get a free birthday meal, I think that is great made me more excited to come again when its my birthday!! I can say it was a pleasant day I enjoyed it and I do recommend it, will defiantly be coming again :)
The groove train Epping, one above all other groove trains with it's excellent staff and service. The food is just simply fantastic with excellent beverages to match, the groove train Epping the place to be.
Fantastic . Highly recommend . Pizza was best in the north . Very friendly staff and groovy place with fast service .Must go again...
The best coffee I have ever had and the food was amaizing 10/10 highly recommended
Festivus - Standard. Many like this
not bad food, actually good
had open lamb kebab ... hit the spot
Great Food . Poor Service. Cannot fault the food, Breakfast was amazing!
We ordered 2 big breakfasts & 2 thickshakes.
breakfasts arrived before the drinks as the guy behind the bar was too busy talking to others.
We were made to feel like requesting breakfast at 11:30am on a Sunday was an inconvenience........ We were rushed into ordering as a result. Yet others that arrived after us were handed breakfast menus by another waitress? Staff need to communicate better, and stop socialising so much
Tried the chain. Now I don't need to go again.
to be honest my stir fry was pretty much just supermarket stir fry sauce, some chicken and hokkian noodles you get in the meat section, and a stry fry veggie packet mix the veg section. thanks woollies lol
