Great food, quick service. I had the calamari and the eggplant chips which were great. Cooked well and seasoned well. I recommend for anyone in the area to give it a try.
Protein Pancakes, what more can I say? They were super tasty and were the perfect thing to have after finishing a super intense workout at the gym. top place I'll certainly be back.
The chicken breast special menu item was an extremely impressive and delicious dish.

Came here for a big group lunch, service was quite fast considering how busy they were. I ate the lamb pizza, what a terrific choice! Other friends had burgers, fish and pizzas. Everyone gobbled their food down and loved their meals! Hard to please everyone but Creme cafe ticked all our boxes. Will be back!
We often call in here for a quick coffee & cake in the evening after dinner. The coffee is always great with a good variety of cakes to choose from 😃 it was great to sit outside last night for the first time in awhile

We love Creme. It is our favourite go-to. The menu is fresh and staff are friendly. The eggplant fries and calamari are a favourite. Try the delicious selection of cakes and tarts from the counter, they are amazing.
Dropped in for late lunch and is consistently good. Started with coffees and I ate cheeseburger which is a big and tasty burger and good value. Wife had chicken gnocchi which was very tasty.
Good to visit a different Creme apart from our usual Creme Altona

Trying to find a restaurant to eat at on Easter Sunday is no easy feat with many closing early to ideally celebrate the tradition and spend time with family. It was with great fortune that Creme Cafe was open till relatively late, and to which we owed our Easter dinner towards.
Greeted by nothing short of welcoming staff, you will begin to notice an overall nice cafe ambience- very inviting, cosy, with the aromas of coffee and vibrance radiating throughout the complex. What is important to note is that Creme is primarily a cafe, so for them to offer dinner options is something to be commended also. Today we opted for an Australian classic, the Parmiagiana and myself with the pulled pork and beef burger-each with sides of chips and a salad for the parma. Let me firstly say that the sides were very very average- almost bland. What was a pleasant surprise however was the Parma and the burger itself. The parma was cooked very well, with beautiful sauces and fresh ham on top- making it one of the better Parma's we have had. The burger too was a surprise as the pulled pork and beef worked together to create a fusion of flavour that I really enjoyed, and will order in future again if I ever return. Note that the coleslaw though was also a tad bland.
As we were eating we couldn't help but notice how close and familiar the staff were amongst each other- laughing, genuinely enjoying their jobs and this was a very pleasant sight to see. The mains here are quite good, satisfying to say the least, however the sides that come with them could do with a bit more flavour. With that being said we were mindful to remember this was indeed a cafe, so looking past the sides you will get good mains, brilliant cafe vibes with staff to match it!

I've been here twice and its a really good space. Sometimes Like other reviews have mentioned, the service seems a bit, underwhelming? They tend to seem uninterested I think.
But I cannot fault the food and drink. Whether it be breakfast or dinner, have not been disappointed either time.
Busy looking cafe that is open all day I think. Only had a coffee which was okay. Food on the table next to us didn’t look amazing but that’s just me. Will have to come back and give them a go
A good place if you're looking for a decent brunch. Friendly staff came to us immediately, cleaned the table and brought a jug of water. Juice was good too, altough not freshly squeezed was still impressed (try the watermelon). Prices are about what you'd expect and wait time was abiut average also. Food was nice, not the best omlete in the world but pretty happy and well presented. Sausages were on point but i personally love fetta so if you're like me, maybe ask for some extra. My partner had the eggs on toast and although the bread was a touch dry, she destroyed it all so that's pretty impressive. Overall pretty happy, would come back for sure.
I spotted this place while driving to another cafe, and it was worth going back.
The place looks wonderful it's modern and fresh and great place to sit and have coffee.
The food was even better with a wide range of food from the menu it was awesome, I had the big breakfast board and it was so much good with a range of different food on it.
The bacon and egg pide roll looked nice as well.
But the thing I'll remember this place for is there hash browns there a big circle and they are different but the best.
Overall good food and great customer service you should definitely stop by.

Amazing cake selection and their Chai lattes are one of the best. The halloumi foccachia is to die for and so filling. Pizzas are average but will keep going back for the Chai.
Visited this cafe on travels through the Melbourne. I come across the humble looking cafe as I was parched at the time. I very enjoyed my liquid replenishments but I given wrong food. Requested chocolate mousse did not receive chocolate mousse unable to come to a conclusion on to what I did receive. Good smile on service person. Good price. Will consider come back on my travels home.

Decent cafe in essendon with great evening and weekend opening hours. Food and coffee are good without being outstanding, and the service is friendly (albeit a little slow at times). Great place to go and catch up for a coffee with friends at night (and one of the few open in essendon) which doesn't dissappoint.
I love creme cafe you can always get a table but lately the service has been slacking I went yesterday and the service was a bit off not rude but not very friendly either. Breakfast was OK but I ordered the avocado, poached eggs and fetta and the avocado was too cold that the eggs lost their heat straight away.
Went to this place to catch up with friends the food was pretty good! What I did find disappointing was after finishing our food and having our dishes taken away we were happy sitting and chatting all together... (we were there for another 2 hours) during this time we never had another waiter come to ask us if we would like something else or more drinks after finishing our food!
Have been here for breakfast and now for lunch. Food is tasty and fresh and quite big serves. I had a great haloumi and avocado piadina! Service is good if sometimes a little spotty but always attentive. The space is big and airy. They have wonderful desserts to go as well! Great spot in essence.

Value for money: $5, average portion size, relatively fresh 6/10 Overall score: 7.35/10. A walk around the block to tire out my grizzly son ended up in an evening cake purchase. Creme never used to sell vanilla slices, but now they do! Not a bad specimen either; light, full of black vanilla speckles and not overly sweetened. The pastry was pretty good too, baked to a lovely golden colour. I'm glad I got one whilst they were still fresh enough to have flaky pastry. Five dollars is reasonable when fresh, but overpriced if a day old I'm sure.
as a new mum. i was most pleased that the cafe was accomdating to our needs. by having a parents/disabled room. food is always nice. drinks always hot. will always go back
We love this place because it feels so relaxed. You can come in any time and get a large meal or just a small coffee and a cake. The coffee is well made and the staff are lovely. Some of their dinner menu isn't that great but their lunch menu is very tasty i like the chicken BLT. If you are looking for a coffee and a cake and all the cafes are closed because it is after 3pm i would suggest giving this little place a try.
Our first attempt to visit Essendon North’s Crème was back in April this year, however when I called on Thursday afternoon to make the booking we were turned away – Booked solid at 7pm on a Thursday. We made a switch at the last second and thats how our “Sporting Globe: Addendum” special attempt came to be.
I've only tried their desserts and juice but it was really nice. Staff was friendly too

Not sure what the regurgitation of slow and unpleasant hypes are about as this is my second reiterating to this cute cosy pleasancy and the edibles, expedition and social morale withheld have been consistent thus far. The three of us decided that a feast was accountable to conclude a restless weekend so we settled on a mezza originale between gnocchi all a pollo- aromatic creaminess suiting subtlety and perfectly formulated pasta pouchiness.. Genuine chicken breast so indubitably qualitative. Battered and breaded eggplant chips stomached remarkably successful with herbs and spices catering sufficient garlic aioli (as usually the accompaniments are sizeably diminutive to be enjoyed thoroughly alongside starters that require them) and the beauty seated opposite me obliterated her Portuguese chicken burger and basket net of attractively thick crisp chips. Emptiness is a sign of a contentedness certainty. It was my accountable enticement with suggesting we share a cookies and Creme cheesecake between the three of us simply to relish in and memorialise our well-structured taste testing tapastry as a sustenance of delightfulness was apparent. Absolutely to die for; this guilty worthwhile dessert bombarded in rich chocolate mouse and piercing white choc shards with dense Oreolike biscuit base founding an irresistible centrality of vanillary cookiedough and combining this milky madness with some ice cream only but peaking suspended expectations furthermore. A third sequel to our conjuring will release an anticipation of a new savoury/sweet consumptional league formation- being the next plan of attack very soonishly.
I have only ever had Coffee and Cake at this place as the bonus of this place is that it's open late! Perfect for catch ups after meetings or late night chats. Coffee is pretty average and cake slices are MASSIVE. They will however let you take home any left overs so that's a bonus too.

Came to this cafe a while ago for breakfast with my mum, and ordered their pancakes and big breakfast. Nothing amazing with the big breakfast. Though the pancakes were delicious considering they were only $15 from what i remember. Nice amount of food considering the decent price. Not expensive and a nice cafe to come and have breakfast, nothing fancy
I went here today for brunch with my partner and was surprised by how spacious the cafe was! The interior is nicely laid out and decorated which adds to a lovely atmosphere. Once seated the waiter immediately asked if we knew what we wanted to drink (which I like!) I ordered the eggs and bacon and he ordered the special French toast. The bacon as a side was huge, I got about 5 pieces. And the French toast was apparently delicious! Will definitely return, we even got a take away donut.
Eggplant chips are one of my favourite sides, or even main meal when I only feel like something light.
Creme in Essendon has a really nice range of food on the menu but have some of the best eggplant chips I have ever tried.
Creme’s wonderful location gives off a very busy atmosphere, the large windows around the cafe look out onto the hustle and bustle of Essendon and gives the cafe a very nice open feel.
It is beautiful sitting near the windows on a sunny day.
As well as the eggplant chips I recommend having the barbecue chicken pizza it has red capsicum, mushrooms and barbecue sauce and cheese, very nice.
Creme is a great place to have coffee with friends or have dinner out.
Have been here a couple of times for Breakfast only. No matter what time of day or night there is always people there even sitting outside. I had the Corn and Zucchini Fritters which is served with some Bacon and a very nice Tomato Relish. My Dining Companions also enjoyed their food as well. Coffee is not bad either. From the time you order to the time you get your food/drinks is not long at all. Will definitely be back as their is a few other menu options that I want to try. The Cake Cupboard is absolute heaven and everything looks so good. I didn't get any cakes or dessert either time as I had just finished breakfast. But maybe next time I will try some sort of cake. I will definitely be back again very soon.

When I come to creme I'm usually on the run and on my way to work so I don't have much time to spare. I call the cafe place my order - med latte 1/2 sugar & multigrain toast with butter & Vegemite. 5mins later when I arrive my order is ready to go, I pop in, pay and I'm on my way! Service is great, the location is convenient & I get to enjoy my breaky & coffee on my way to work! 👌🏼👌🏼

We had the eggplant chips, gnocchi al pollo and arancini balls. The eggplant chips and the arancini balls which were tasty with the perfect amount of crunch! Would definitely get them again :)
The gnocchi al pollo was also okay but I found the chicken to be too big and a little chewy. The sauce was really nice though.
Service was a little slow but it was busy.

The Portuguese chicken burger is awesome here. Regular catch up location for the burger and cake with the girls. Lunch menu is great but the dinner menu is horrible. Not sure why it's so different but if they kept their dinner menu the same as the lunch they would kill it.
Have been here for a few coffees, l always find their coffee to be really good. Especially in a take away large.....l once got a salad from their which was ok, had pumpkin pieces which were really nice. But it left my teeth feeling really funny, it felt like something in the salad had stripped the enamel from my teeth😞bizarre!!! Would definitely recommend the coffee😊Customer service has always been really good with a pleasant atmosphere.

Food came out quickly, I had eggs Benedict and my boyfriend had big breakfast. Food was absolutely amazing, especially the H sauce. Only down side was the $4 extra salmon was quite small for $4. Besides that, everything was great (especially the orange juice!!)
Love this place but the only downfall is that it is always so packed which makes it hard to get in and relax and talk to your campany. But the coffee here is very good and the food is also good!

Nice little place, although parking options aren't ideal. Not much they can do about that though! Loved by locals like me for the great food, coffee and service. Salmon fettuccine, breakfast options and avocado and grilled haloumi pide are the few dishes I've ordered there and they've never disappointed. Great pit stop if you're in the area. Great location and outdoor seating. We came for brunch on a nice hot day and the service was very quick (you order via QR code). Avo on toast, pancakes and drinks all tasted good.
We're not locals to the essendon area and drummed up some hunger around midday. I came across Crème Café not far from where we'd parked and made the right decision to check it out. The owner was friendly on arrival and were seated to a table without more than a vax check.
The acai smoothie and meals were fantastic, great portion sizes and very well presented. Staff were all friendly and helpful, overall a amazing experience.
I loved the Zucchini Fritter with Poached Egg. Well presented, tasted delicious. Waiter was nice and friendly. Would come back here again. 😊

A pretty good experience with attentive and friendly staff. They were very accommodating when it came to slight menu changes, which was great. My smashed avo looked fantastic and tasted very nice but didn't really stand out from other places as such. The salmon spaghetti was delicious according to my wife. Not our first time here and we'll be back no doubt.
