Review The Pepper Tree - Essendon

Upbeat Melon
Parma bigger than my hand. Gnocchi is home made and the espresso martini was in the top 3 best ones I've ever had. The garlic butter drumlettes were an amazing surprise.

Food is exceptional with very generous serving sizes. Well priced, nice decor and service. Highly recommended and im usually a tough critic. I think this is my first 5 star review. Support this local business

This place is a hidden gem. Food was AMAZING! Bruschetta was the best I’ve had. Barramundi cooked to perfection with crispy skin. Super friendly staff. Friends in the group ordered the seafood linguine & calamari. Both also beautifully cooked and serving sizes very generous. Definitely recommend and definitely be back. Give Peppertree Essendon a go. Won’t regret it.

Awesome pasta tonight. The chef made an amazing beef ragu that was really delicious. 5/5 would dine again

The place is looking a bit tired. Service was prompt and polite but menu is a bit limited.

LOVED it here! A group of us came here last night and we were blown away. We ordered things to share and everything was delicious and flavoursome. The service was great too. They have an upstairs function room and outdoor beer garden. Definitely will be coming back!

I stumbled upon this family run cafe while looking for somewhere nice to have a coffee and chat with a friend. The Pepper Tree looked cosy, the staff were friendly and they had some delicious cakes on display, so I couldn't resist. It was quite busy mid morning, so it seems fairly popular with locals and I found the service to be excellent.

The Pepper Tree is a pleasant place, with a comfortable vibe and a modern country feel to the decor. The coffee was really good and the homemade muffin was tasty, moist and full of fruit. I would definitely come back again as the menu also sounded interesting, and I hear they do a delicious parma.

$10 Parmas Night every Monday! The owners are down to earth and awesome. The fire place definitely adds to the ambience. Cool beer garden out the back 👍🏼

Great food at reasonable prices, extensive wine list, and good beers. Remember to use the beer garden on warm nights! Friendly service family operated. 10/10 for service!
Excellent burgers and the best fries in town!

Friendly service. Great food, great flavours, great prices. We shared some entrees and a salad..The entrees were quite big, we certainly didn’t leave hungry. Looking forward to coming back to try the mains. The mixed grill looks amazing. Will definitely be back.
