Review Skybrew Co. - Essendon

I really wanted to like Skybrew... it looks like it has such an awesome menu and for once, I decided to get something sweet, which is quite a rarity nowadays because I tried to eat healthy. But this brioche French toast, w Nutella and fresh fruit, nuts with choc espresso mascarpone sounds too yummy to resist! I also ordered a side of chorizo just in case it was too sweet. Sadly when the French toast came out, it tasted a bit greasy. The nuts were really stale and it left a bad taste in my mouth for a few hours even though I stopped eating the nuts after a few bites. The great thing about it was that it had some micro herbs in it that actually balances the sweetness, and in hindsight I really didn’t have to order the chorizo, which was a bit hard. The soy chai was also so-so, was a bit flavourless. The service was great though! Too bad I probably won’t go back anytime soon.

Sunday Family Brunch Last minute change of plans saw us comfortably seated in Skybrew for a family brunch. The staff were very helpful with tips and suggestions for menu selection. A wide selection of dishes from Specialty Porridge to truffled eggs, baked eggs, and the usual poached eggs were sampled. Thumbs up for all dishes and the coffee and Soy Chai Lattes were on point.

Cute little cafe in a great part of Essendon - we tried the Bao and the wingman burger. Both were delicious and very flavoursome. The bao was a definite winner in our eyes. The coffee was great but we loved the mars bar milkshake with added protein - so yum and we'll be coming back for sure. Very well priced for what we ordered and the service was fast and friendly.

Been here a couple of times now and always impressed. Great food options, great service and a really nice layout, the kids particularly like the outside bit out the back.

Highly recommend a visit to skybrew co. Warm welcoming and very friendly service with the most beautiful interior and outdoor seating area. A fresh and modern menu too, my meal was lovely and my eggs were cooked to perfection and complimented with a great coffee. Could not fault and I will definitely be back again!!

This place has amazing atmosphere. Great food and delicious smoothies. I tried one of their burgers and a smoothie, and i am definitely coming again. The owner, Sally is very friendly and the staff there are very nice to talk to. Highly recommend this place for a nice brunch!!

Great bruschetta with yummy kale, mushrooms and roast pumpkin!

The food is good and friendly stuff loved it.

Couldn't fault this cute little cafe. The staff were great, top service, nice venue (we sat outside on a luckily sunny day) and the coffee and food was yummy. <br/><br/>The omelette was nice and silky, the eggs were cooked really well. The fillings were good too, especially the mushrooms. Would've liked to see a thick cut slice of sourdough served with this dish but the regular toast was still good to have on the side. <br/><br/>Would happily return to try more of the menu.

Friendly service. Greatest coffee in this local area and it is a great popular hangout for the community. Great rear outdoor seating. Food is fantastic also, generous portions and creative meals.

I recently had brunch here with my partner and we very much enjoyed it.<br/>The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff extremely friendly and attentive.<br/>We ordered baked eggs, an Acai Bowl,  Chai Latte and a smoothie.<br/>The two breakfast dishes were amazing, big servings, freshly made and tasty. <br/>I loved the Tropical Tang smoothie, perfect fruit combo and very refreshing!<br/>We'll come back here to try more from the menu!

Nice large cafe with seating front middle and back!! The coffee is top notch with the staff being friendly and helpful. The fried chicken is pretty solid along with the baos.

Skybrew is such a hidden gem, came here for a bite to eat and ended up ordering their burger special at the time. They had prompt service and tasted great. I'll be back.

Fried Chicken in a Croissant! Such a simple pleasure that Skybrew has mastered. They don't normally serve their burgers in a croissant, but I was feeling like something a little bit different so asked and they delivered. A nice cosy venue with seating inside and a courtyard out the back.

Came to Skybrew not long ago and found it a super gem. The venue doesn't look big from the outside but is actually huge and seats 70+, it would even be great for a private function if they offered that. With a nice courtyard and a healthy menu, Slybrew is a spot worth checking out. A good range of vegan dishes too which is a nice change.

An amazing cafe that suits all needs. From their range of vegan delights to one of Melbourne's best fried chicken burgers, Skybrew really does have it all. My partner and I really enjoyed our experience here and loved the vibe and atmosphere of the courtyard.

Beautiful new cafe with an aviation spin on the interior. The coffee was nothing but the best and I had the wing man burger which was amazing. Perfect court yard for Friday night drinks or simply brunch in the sun 👌🏼

Great atmosphere. The aviation theme is cool. I had the avo smash with a side of bacon which is house cured. Good amount of avocado, quality bread, eggs poached to perfection. My wife had the other avocado dish which came with a good amount of grilled halloumi and she enjoyed her meal. We shared a granola which was perfect. Lots of nuts and seeds, fresh blueberries and strawberries, coconut yoghurt complimented the dish really well. Coffee was really good, I especially enjoyed the macadamia milk latte.

Beautiful coffee and even friendlier staff. The satay chicken PoBoy is a winner. Great new addition<br/>to the area and well worth the wait for its arrival.

Great new Cafe in Essendon , sun drenched courtyard away from the busy street is a oasis. Good menu and coffee. Recommended and 5* from me .

Awesome new local, great food (coco chilli shamble was 👌🏻), nice fit out, prompt service and coffee on point. Cant wait to get back in here on a warmer day to eat out in the back area. Kid friendly also, very accomodating staff and menu.
