Quirky decor, friendly staff and delicious cakes - I got takeaway only, but if I had more time to spare I would definitely try the sit-in experience.

What a glorious High Tea experience. 3 courses of quality food baked and prepared in house. Service is friendly, accommodating and wonderfully attentive. These pleasant people provide a foodie destination experience that is memorable and quaint. Decor and ambiance is appropriate and adds to the experience. If you feel like injecting a little class into your dining experience this is your place. Highly recommend.

The Hatters Tea House is a highly recommended place to go, especially for their excellent "High Tea". The decor has a curious odd and old style touch to it which suits the wonderland theme perfectly. One of my favourite bits was the way that "collectible" teaspoons were used. Everything' is made on the premises from fresh ingredients and is delicious. Portions are a good size without being too much and they are very flavoursome. We had some delicious and fluffy "fanta scones" among other things. Their collection of teas is fantastic and the coffee is really good too. There is ample parking out the back and a bus stop near the front. Seating is comfortable and well spaced. Disabled access to the front is good but there are two levels of seating so if steps will create a problem for you, it's worthwhile calling ahead to book an appropriate table. There are toilets on site but they are on the upper level. The proprietor is very personable and friendly and is keen to explain all of the different dishes. There are some toys on site but I'm inclined to suggest that this is an adult place and would not be enough to keep small children occupied. The trinkets and antiques around the place would also worry me with kids. This place books out very quickly on Mother's day and while it's a great day to spoil your mum, I'd recommend waiting a for a couple of weeks and doing a high tea away from peak times to get the very best service. This place is a must

This cafe is amazing and I suggest everyone try it. The foid is amazing, tea is amazing and the desserts are to die for. The owners are so nice and as a bonus hand made local art works and trinkets. All of the inside looks fantastic too. With hats and dolls, little ceramic sculptures and various other things. I try to come here when I can. I must also mention the hotchocolate. However I want it to speak for itself. I love that pretty much everything is homemade and you can taste the passion that goes into all the food. Not a single even minor gripe about this place.

Fabulous high tea for my sister's birthday yesterday enjoyed with Mum & niece. Great selection of tasty savoury & sweet treats. All freshly baked on the premises. Plentiful tea & coffee. The pace bringing the food out was excellent. We will definitely be back. Thank you Bianca.

Really quaint and unique tea room for a casual afternoon tea/high tea!We were there around 2pm and had the whole place to ourselves which worked out great! Scones were delicious and their signature cake (peanut butter and chocolate) is a must try!

This tea house has great food and lots of unique decor which makes you feel like you're Alice in Wonderland. The omelette was so yummy and the corn fritters with smoked salmon was pretty good too.

Had the high tea and it was lovely couldn't fault it. Wasn't rushed and the bottomless tea was great. Will go again
