Sandpit Cafe - Evans Head - Photo album

Great coffee and delicious food. We stayed in the caravan park located just across the road very convenient for breakfast. The meals are generous and well priced. Will definitely be back.
🛑About 1 week ago I ordered a cappuccino and little breakfast. The cappuccino turned out to be a flat white and the eggs weren’t cooked properly on the breakfast! I wouldn’t normally write a review but today I stupidly went back and asked for another cappuccino and told the YOUNG girl working on the
Ordered a smashed avo & feta and waited over 35 mins (they were busy but not overly so) before enquiring as to the whereabouts of my meal. When my meal finally arrived the bread was barely toasted and the feta was dry and tasteless, not what you'd expect for $11. Sorry but not a great experience.
Good place for the brunch and enjoy sunshine
Got takeaway coffee in the morning, coffee was average, staff were very rude. Went back at lunch time (stupidly expecting a different experience) and ordered two coffee frappes, which would have been fine if we asked fo coffee with ice. They were terrible, and once again, service was very very rude.
Closed early at 1pm instead of 2pm which was disappointing when travelling to the area specially for lunch with a family. The main women was rude about it as well. Food average and overpriced. Such a shame as the location is spectacular! Shame the food and service lets it down.
Sandpit is a lovely little cafe a few metres from Evans Heads beach, serving great espresso & a decent variety of food
Food was great, normal to vegetarian options available, very good value. Access is good for all abilities. Only suggestion is if meeting a number of people or would be advisable to reserve a table.
