I've been here many times and the food is always great! I love these fritters and I got the Mango frappe. Nice outdoor seating, lots of plants and flowers and easy parking too.

Cute little cafe with a good view. The service here was quite bad, with the girl on till not providing any aspect of customer service, no welcome or even a smile and a nod. With no product knowledge or effort. The tables were backed up and we had to clean our own table off which is a bit of a drag. The manager on till was very nice and helpful despite being a bit flogged from the lack of help. The chef seemed quite competent woth the food looking and tasting good. Not the greatest coffee, a bit burnt but not the worst. All up, not a bad experience, but a bit more effort could make this place really nice. Still worth a visit

food was under cooked (had eggs in it) and egg shells, coffee was average, table was not cleaned properly. service was pretty much non existent. the kids area is run down with a dirty blackboard and no chalks. huge disappointment! the place used to be good. we wouldn’t recommend it anymore.

I received a nice greeting from the waitress and was told to choose a table and she would bring me a menu. I had my 16 week old in a carrier,pushed her pram to a table and five minutes later the menu still hadnt been delivered so I went inside to get one. They weren't terribly busy and when I went to order the same waitress asked if I was dining in or taking away. I thought surely she would remember me, having seen me and given me eye contact when telling me to choose a table and she'd bring me a menu. I let that comment go also. She took my order, which I gave slowly to avoid confusion that she had when taking the previous customers order. Another waitress delivered my food and soon after coffee, with some monotone enthusiasm and I couldn't help but wonder if she was happy to be there. The food was presented well and tasted great. Even though this cafe had tasty food, the service was poor/needs to be worked on and I will not be returning to this cafe as a result.

Lovely place to meet up or to enjoy a hot drink alone. I tried the raisin toast, it was lovely, and the atmosphere is so inviting and relaxing. Definitely going back.

I placed an order on door dash. The driver arrived and the restaurant claimed they had not received my order, even though the order was confirmed and the money came out of my account. I called the cafe and spoke to someone who advised that this happens all the time and then hung up while I was speaking. I spoke with door dash who then tried calling the cafe and they wouldn't answer. Absolutely shocking service. I will never eat here again.

Good coffee and friendly service. Staff were quick with the order. Heck of a view here so definitely worth the trip.

Columbian long black was magnificent Chicken burger was lacking chicken, it didn't cover bun. It was very tasty My mate's feta and mushroom omelette was huge. He couldn't eat it all

Horrendous experience .... Coffee was burned and bitter - 1/5 Missed the breakfast by 5 minutes - bad timing on my part ... Ordered and waited - waited - waited - waited .... After 40 minutes of waiting, gave up and requested it to be taken away - 0/5 Food - considering the wait, my expectations were already at a low ... but they attained an all new low - 0/5 Folks - very poor service and food. From where I was sitting I had a full view of the kitchen area, very unhygienic and messy. Take your family somewhere else and avoid ....

I loved the salmon eggs benny .. instead of a muffin as the base they use a beautifully textured and flavoured Colombian potato cake. Their coffee is to die for as well .. gorgeous chilled atmosphere right in the middle of everything. Cannot recommend enough.

Food is real yummy, and coffee i cant get enough of and lovely friendly staff. Im glad I found this place.

Great venue, great food and great service. So happy to have found such a gem in suburbia.

Local breakfast eatery of choice with yummy healthy food. THE best chilli con carne I've ever had. Always enjoy the healthy smoothies & acai bowls and great atmosphere. It's always well attended when we are there so they must be doing something right! Heading there again today for some chilli !

Went to B&B last Friday with my LO and friend for a well deserved cafe brekkie. Absolutely yum! Tropical smoothie was vibrant and delicious and the bacon eggs benny was just what I was hoping for. There weren't too many tuts and huffs when baby had a meltdown as I went in to order and generally the atmosphere was chilled and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. �

Fantastic yummy food, great serving sizes - neither of us could finish ours - we were full. Love the fact they don't go 'stupid' with the chip serving. The healthy smoothie I had was delicious. The prices were extremely reasonable. The service was fantastic & friendly. Would totally recommend this cafe to my family and friends. Thank you.

I really appreciate there is enough space for me to bring my pram in. My baby is too little for a highchair which can make meeting up with friends for coffee difficult at this stage. I had an iced latte and a brownie, both were delicious. The staff were very welcoming. Looking forward to coming back

We just had pork belly at Heston Blumenthal’s Dinner. In Melbourne - and the pork belly we had TAKE AWAY from birds and bees was ridiculously better than Heston’s. They deserve so much credit for their exemplary food, and I love the new menu- as much as I miss the old one. We are so lucky to have this quality of food within walking distance of so many people In Everton hills / Everton Park. ❤️❤️❤️❤️And thank you!

Great little place to chill amongst the plants. Very relaxing. Has a kids corner and good food options for little ones. Lovely burger and fritters were yum. Coffee was ok, but wouldn’t go out of my way for it. The atmosphere, food and pleasant staff are the winner here.

Very friendly staff, great service. Nice ambience, especially with the live music on a Friday night. The food was pleasant, but average (except for my son’s chips which tasted “amazing!”) I’d probably go here for a drink again, or see if the breakfast menu is better.

Nice venue, big and airy with green outlook, very popular but food was bland. My avocado was almost brown, my companion's poached eggs quite solid. Nobody bothered to wipe our table & service was a bit minimal though friendly. I wanted it to be better than this because I like what they're trying to do.

Firstly, their coffee is absolutely amazing! I ordered my standard Eggs Benny 😊 It looks delicious, although I’m not sure if I’m a fan of the ‘Spanish tortilla’ that it was on instead of the usual sourdough/bread. It wasn’t horrible but after a few mouthfuls it’s just feels/tastes like overcooked potato. The bacon was also a little too crispy in parts but I know some people will love that. Ambience and staff service was also very good. Next time I’ll probably just try something different.

Such a great spot to meet up with other mums. The kids are happy playing away in the play area while we can get some quality adult conversation. Meals are ok, good coffee and kids treats.

Early stop at Birds & Bees for a quick caffeine hit yesterday. Husband has given up coffee recently so he went with a hot chocolate and I had my usual vanilla flat white. Husband was happy with the result of his order, however mine was a little bitter for my taste.<br/><br/>It was not especially busy at that time of the morning, yet there seemed to be a lot of staff around. The service we experienced was friendly and came with a smile. It did seem to take a little longer than normal to throw together two takeaway coffees though.<br/><br/>Birds & Bees is so close to home and has a lovely view over the Hills District; we might give them a go for breakfast sometime soon.

Went there for the first time with a group of friends. Finding car park was tricky. I don't mind the outdoor setting with play area for kids. But the quality of their cakes and drinks is below average. Some of us had chai latte in a mug and we had different cake slices to share. The Chai latte was lacking in flavour. Way too much milk froth, till the last sip that was all I can taste. Couldn't taste any chai flavour. It was $5.<br/><br/>I had one of their cakes. Chocolate cake, not sure if they call it a brownie. It was too sweet and too crumbly. Everytime I cut a small bite piece, most of them ends up still on the plate than into my mouth. Way too crumbly. Service was okay. Give 1.5 star for the outdoor setting and kids play area. Safe to say we would not go back..

Would never go anywhere again that treats it staff like this place does. I asked a staff member how did he think the new Qld Penalty laws would affect him and he said it wouldn't as Bird & Bees paid their staff a lot less than the legal rate for weekends. Those who ever complained were quickly shown the door.  He said he had to shut up and accept it until he could find another place to work. Other than that the food was pretty ordinary and the attitude of the owners typical "take it or else attitude". I am not surprised it didn't even get a nomination in the best Brisbane  breakfast Cafe. Been once never again.........

This is our regular cafe. Great cafe in the northern suburbs, great food and great coffee with lots of space in their green courtyard . Weekly food specials are always great. Can get a bit hectic on the weekend but it is the weekend.  Well worth the trip.

Great little cafe on the Northside. Lots of menu options, although some a bit pricey. Zucchini fritters were huge and very filling, delicious to begin with though about halfway through became a bit monotonous, coconut bircher muesli was very nice and definitely the standout.

Good location for breakfast.  Great outdoor area with a view and nice coffee.  Pretty standard foods with a few different items that I have found a bit hit and miss.  Overall would come back.

I must say I don't often write reviews unless a place is really good or really bad. Unfortunately this place is so bad, the only reason it will do ok is because it's kid friendly. Certainly not for the food or the customer service. I have been here a couple times before with friends and the coffee is always OK, I have has food here once before and it was so bad I couldn't eat it. It was dry and stale and so hard to force down my throat. Today my partner and I went here and I said the food was bad last time but I only gave it a try once so could of been an off day. Well the coffee order was wrong which happened a and wasn't a problem until the girl got so angry and huffed n puffed and rolled her eyes at us because SHE got the order wrong. Then the pulled pork "rolls" came. Omg talk about dry! The meat was so over cooked and burnt in places, there was no sauce, the "coleslaw" also not dressed, it was just a burger with dry AF meat and dry cabbage. We didn't take anything back as we were to concerned the crazy chick at the counter would spit in our food. We will never go here again and will be telling everyone we know how bad the food is here. If u want dry meat, rude service and screaming kids then this is your place.

Most of what I have tried for breakfast has been delicious and decent coffee. However please bring back the avocado with feta and chilli oil! This was the best. When I ordered the new version of your avo on toast it was very disappointing- some sort of supermarket bought wholemeal bread with a lot less avo and a large amount of rocket (too much to eat) hiding parts of the bread that had hardly any avo. The bread went all soft (was definitely not avo on "toast"). Was something I could have made at home. Not sure about everyone else but when I go out for breakfast I go for the sourdough or turkish bread! I love the location and the overall feel of the cafe but I haven't returned since.

Great little cafe in a quiet spot. Heaps of room and also a kids play area.<br/><br/>My first time here and I have a perfect flat white that is strong but not overly bitter and perfect consistency.<br/>With my coffee I've ordered the special omelette, which today is chorizo and tomato.<br/>Wow, the food is great and the staff are friendly and attentive too!<br/><br/>I look forward to visiting more often

The best steak sandwich I have EVER had! Delicious coffee too. I will definitely be back and will be telling my friends. Worth the 30 minute drive.

A trendy yet unpretentious café with great large meals and good coffee. The only negative for me was welcome we got from the lady behind the counter as she seemed pre-occupied/was a bit blunt. I think service is very important, so this was a bit of a let-down. Would probably visit again to see if the service is better as the food was spot on!

This little cafe was a decent drive away from Kangaroo Point for us but was well worth the drive. The pooch was welcome as there is plenty of outdoor space in the courtyard & she could listen to the local geese down below in the garden!!Love the fact they have breakfast dishes which are outside of the square. Mexican influenced foods here & those scrambled eggs are delicious laced with onion & tomatoes. Coffee is single origin & well poured, could have had a bit more strength, but still very good
