Stathmos 109 is a nice, casual style cafe with a friendly atmosphere. I had the greek breakfast (scrambled eggs with feta on sourdough) and it was delicious. The coffee was good too.
Nice cafe. Plain set out and furniture. The coffee is good. Had coffee here for well over an hour with others. No issue from the staff and management who could easily have got tense over our lack of more costly purchases. Other locals speak very well of this place and I'm told the cakes are lovely. I like it.

Great service, great coffee, great people. So what if this isn't the hippest cafe in town? I love Stathmos 109. The decor is hardly trendy, the food can be rather mediocre, but the cakes are fabulous and the coffee is consistently excellent. The Greek people who run it are friendly, charming and efficient and the place is always full of regulars, who are all known by name - a strong recommendation. Steve, Mary, Blondie, Tina and co do a great job. I've been a regular myself for years, and I keep going back, even though I've moved out of the area. Go Stathmos! - TP
Popped in this morning for a simple Takeaway Coffee & HCT Toasty, both were fantastic, Coffee was strong, my sugar well stirred in (thankyou!) and the Toasty was really well made, fresh tomato, generous, like ya mum would make-could taste the love! I’ll definitely be back when in the area!
