I ordered the double cheese and bacon burger, lemon pepper wings and waffles. The burger was absolutely delicious, loved the American cheese, the slightly charred meaty patty (I like that the patty was well done and thick), the sweet onion relish (I was planning on picking out the onions when I put the order through but they tasted so good), on the freshers soft bun. Best burger around ever! And those wings were to die for, so crispy (but without the oiliness nor thick batter), the slight tang of the lemon powder and that chicken, that chicken was so tender and soft, the bones easily pulled away. The waffles tasted nice, though they were the soft pillow type as opposed to crispy. The ladies were friendly and the food was made on time, thank you. Amazing experience, we'll be back! Highly highly recommend!!

A few of us came here for lunch after a walk in the nearby reserve. The burgers were juicy and flavoursome. I enjoyed the sweet potato fries, crispy on the outside and soft and sweet inside. Clean dining area with comfortable booths.

I don’t often head out for burgers, but my son told me Burger Road was a must visit so I took his advice and did what I was told! Loved every bite, a good recommendation that I am happy to report the BIG tick of approval.
Great people, great burgers, been here plenty of times and never disappoints. Would definitely recommend the Fire extinguisher and the I’m too corny burgers. Good place if you’re looking for a filling meal instead of a light snack. Shakes and waffles are also great. On the expensive side but well worth it.

My partner and i caught up with some friends here not too long ago. The fire extinguiser i had was really great and spicy. The milk shakes were hella crazy. Cant' wait to come back and try the other items on the menu.
2 weeks ago I ordered the Italian style Chicken pesto burger with a black brioche bun.
It was my first time visiting the restaurant and all I can say was yum!! The peppers, the cheese, the chicken, the pesto, the sauces, the buns!!

Highly recommend Burger Road. I have been here many times and thought I had already left a review. Never disappoints and easily in the best burgers of Melbourne. They have made my Fried Chicken list 2 years in a row.
I had a Fire Extinguisher, a chicken burger. My partner had a Naughty Sheila, a beef burger. Both were a bit spicy and tasted very good. My partner really loved the place so we probably will go back.
One of the best burger places I have ever eaten at. Kills the "other" chain burger place down the road. I sneakily get takeaway from here when I am home for lunch with no dependents and then hide the evidence.
Such an awesome menu here! If you come, try one of everything like we did.

Everything was tasty as! There's no table service, you get a buzzer when your order is ready and we found the staff at the counter were very friendly. Beef was cooked well in the burger, there was plenty of seasoning on the wings (which were juicy) and the loaded fries were so good, they were all gone within minutes.
The milkshake was the best! They had something crazy like a dozen flavours on the menu! If this was anything to go by, I reckon the Mega Shakes would be incredible. Will definitely be back to try one next time!

Now the burgers are definitely worth the hype here, but the service needs work on. I get that they don’t do table service which is correlates with their level of service. The whole ordering process with the staff was quite unpleasant, and seem to be pushy when making tweaks to the order.
The food was quite delicious, al the flavours are on point and not too overfilling to leave us in a food coma. Having some stomach room left we decided to order the freakshakes for dessert.
We didn’t realise that they had 10 minutes left until closing time when we wanted the shake, and the cashier asked a man (I’m assuming the boss) if we could still order it. He said “yeah they can, but have to drink it quick”. I find this completely rude as we were standing and could hear this conversation occurring, and stupidly enough we still wanted this freakshake!! Eventually coming out 10 mins later anyway, we felt the pressure to down the monstrous concoction in a matter of 5 minutes since they were closing so we didn’t get to truly enjoy our experience. The burgers saved this review, and that’s the only thing we would come back for, but the service is definitely something they should work on.
Burger road is a bloody ripper. Came here after originally planning on going to easey’s in Collingwood but after the staff were so rude, we headed for Burger road. It was refreshing to have great people working behind the counter and it was a good experience from the moment we walked in to the moment I almost had the roll on out of there because I couldn’t stop eating the delicious food.
For me it’s hard to beat a Grand trailer burger but this gets pretty damn close and the 5 stars are because the people working here are really nice. Thanks Burger road ya Legends 🍔

I was so excited to be invited along to a blogger event here at Burger Road on Station street in Fairfield. This American styled burger joint has been open for over a year now and has recently opened in their second store out in Diamond Creek so clearly their formula of quality ingredients must be working for them. Their range of burgers, freakshakes , waffles, and wings are pretty damn good.
I was super keen on the Candid Rainbow freakshakes... and it delivered on taste and on quality ingredients used were up there. The donuts and waffles were fresh and flavoursome and the ice cream and shake itself so freakin good. My top freakshake experience in Melbourne so far.
There were a lot of crazy burger upgrading going on in a venue full of bloggers and I decided to join in by grabbing the “take the first exit” burger which came with wagyu beef cheese and bacon. To this I adding a fried chicken breast which really did marry well with the other ingredients so crispy and flavoursome.

Some days you just gotta throw caution to the wind, ask yourself "what diet?", and order with your eyes. A burger, fries, buffalo wings, and a crazy huge freakshake later, I think I may have went a little overboard but who cares when everything was so delicious?
The buffalo wings were so tender and moist, and were just the right amount of spiciness, plus a little bit of sweet, sour and a whole lot of yumminess. Hot and crunchy chips were also amazing, and of course, I had to season them with chicken salt from the self-serve condiments section.
The peanut butter freakshake was one of the tallest I have seen - with two halves of a fluffy waffle smothered in peanut butter, a soft and surprisingly light doughnut, and a rich and decadent chocolate brownie studded with peanuts sitting majestically on top of the glass. Don't forget the Resse's Peanut Butter Cups stuck to the glass too. There was no way I could drink the milkshake without eating some of them first, and I promptly finished them off. Yummy! The milkshake was not too thick but creamy enough, and undeniably peanut buttery.
As I knew my partner would not be pulling his weight in helping me with demolishing the freakshake, we decided to share a burger. It wasn't an easy decision but we finally decided on The Sheriff's Burger. Wow, the combination of the chilli cheese kransky, bacon, jalapenos, Swiss cheese and BBQ sauce lifted this burger to new heights. The flavours of each component came together wonderfully, and even though the black truffle mayo was very subtle, the burger could have done without it as the rest of the ingredients were amazing enough. Likewise, the beef patty by itself was a bit under-seasoned but when eaten as whole, no complaints at all!
Friendly and chatty staffs made my dining experience an even more delightful one. The next time I'm hankering for a cheat meal, I know where to go.
4.5. One of the better burgers I've had in Melbourne. Ordered the moo'yalicious with black truffle mayo and it was delicious! The beef patty was thick and juicy, swiss cheese was excellent, mushrooms and jalapenos added an extra texture and flavour that complimented the burger well, and the bbq sauce was delish. Would've preferred lettuce and tomato as a staple part of all burgers, but I guess I can add these for $1 each next time (which may be a little steep). The beer battered chips are well salted and crunchy, the mac and cheese bites are ok, and the vanilla thickshake was nice. Highly recommended.

Great food! Greeted by friendly staff when you walk in and a chef that will have his input on how to make your order that much tastier! I got the burger road special, perfectly cooked chicken, melted cheese, greens and pesto! It was delicious, a burger that tastes fresh and doesn't leave you feeling guilty. Paired with some of the best sweet potato fries in which the portion sizes are very generous! A little on the salty side though. Overall great experience and will be back often!

Was meaning to check this place out months ago as I live 5 minutes up the road and love a good burg almost more then anything, but it just slipped my mind and had never got around to it until now, which could be a blessing as I don’t think I will be able go a week without my fix, I thought long and hard, studied the menu hours before I went and even ask for recommendations off the infamous cheesy boys just to make sure I got it right and I was more then impressed with my decision.
I decided to go for the fire extinguisher as a spice burger is my usual go to, but I thought I’d take it further and added a beef patty and bacon too test out there meat varieties which the burger flipper assured me I had made the right choice. When it was bought out I had a mini freak out and thought my eyes well exceeded my stomach as it was the highest burger I had witnessed on my own plate, but with a little persuasion with my grip I just got into it and got it down, was a couple minutes of pure ecstasy and was a little upset when it was gone! Thank you to the burger road crew for such an experience I’ll be seeing you very shortly you have my word 😏
My order was the Sheriff's burger which included beef, chilli cheese kransky, truffle mayo, bbq sauce, swiss cheese and bacon. I found the flavour combination of the truffle mayo and bbq sauce to be quite tasty, however the beef was overcooked and hence chewier than it should have been. I also had a tiramisu cheesecake shake which was pleasant.

Came here for a sneaky cheat meal and boy I’m glad I did!! Friendly staff greeting you with a smile as soon as you walk in! They don’t offer table service so you order at the counter, receive a buzzer, go take a seat and then come and collect your food later ! Would give 5 stars if the food was brought to the table, would just be a nice touch !! Ordered the Kit-Kat waffles ( Belgian waffle with kit-Kats, Chocolate syrup, vanilla ice cream, icing sugar and fairy floss on top - $12) and they did not disappoint ! Will have to come back to try out the actual burgers !! 🍟🍔

Excellent burgers! So many choices but settles with the station st burger with added bacon. Delicious!! Opted for the Mac and cheese bites and the onion rings for sides, so good. And don’t even get me started on the shakes! The milo shake was awesome! Highly recommend!

Last month when I was in Melbourne on a business trip from Usa I wasn’t sure about the place. But I gave it a shot and let me tell you this was the best burger shop I ever went too. The burger came the way I wanted it cooked. The patty was very juicy and delicious. Staff was very friendly and chef came out to check on all the customers. This is a great and healthy place . Most definitely recommended.
Also do not forget to try their Oreo Shake.

Amazing food!!! Haven't heard much about this place until my visit and I'm very surprised how under the radar they are as the food is phenomenal. Definitely amongst the best for burgers in Melbourne. Plus they have no issues with modifying any burger or side to your liking, they aim to please. Their shakes and waffles are awesome too. In case the delicious burgers aren't enough.

They have since introduced a range of Insta-shakes, following on from the 2016-2017 trend as well as expanded their dessert range with more American-style treats such as waffles. They all look good, but we haven't tried them yet

When all you want is an enormous burger, a side of dirty fries and a sugary confection to wash it all down with: Burger Road. In this day and age, burger joints are popping up so quickly I can’t keep up. They have to be good to survive – and Burger Road is nearly through its first year with no signs of slowing down.
Sometimes you just feel like a burger. You know, fat, sloppy, all things artery clogging. Last night was that night for us! I grabbed the corn fritter veg burger which had GREAT flavour with the chipotle and jalapenos - but alas the veg patty was of the ‘one bite and half the patty shoots out the other end of the bun’ variety. Excepting that I’d def have it again and recommend to any other veg head who doesn’t mind eating bits of their burger with their fingers. Hubby bear had a beef burger with cheese, egg, beetroot, bacon, plus all the other standards and happily gobbled it up despite the mess he was making while eating it! Two thumbs up from him. Beer battered fries were crunchy and yum. Onion rings were also great. Decent prices, decent burgers, yummy chips and onion rings - an overall solid little burger joint!
I was here afew nights ago with afew other bloggers. I ordered myself a Fire Extinguisher with extra fried chicken, extra spicy and the black bun. Burger was really good and the bun was fresh. The mac and cheese bites were also really good. I found the onion rings abit salty. I also got a Peanut Butter and Choc Brownie freak shake which tasted as amazing at it looked. The brownie was delicious! I also tried the kit Kat waffles. The actual waffles were great but wasn't a fan of the hershys chocolate sauce. Owners are also lovely and the service was great!

I was super excited to attend a blogger event at Burger Road (so excited in fact I actually ditched the friends I was supposed to catch up with so I could be available!) Staff here were fabulous and kept up with the crazy demand of all of us as well as their regular customers extremely professionally.
I have to say my peanut butter brownie shake was insanely delicious. Often freakshakes are pilled high with stuff that looks visually appealing but doesn’t necessarily taste that high quality. Here I not only enjoyed the donut on top I also thoroughly delighted in the waffle (and was joyfully anticipating ordering a waffle for dessert as a result).
My burger was a glorious thing. I got the hickory dickory and was a bit concerned the hickory sauce might be overpowering but it was absolutely perfect. I customised the burger and added avocado and pineapple as well as fried chicken because why should one have to chose between fried and grilled? It turned out to be quite the monster to tackle but I happily made a mess because it was definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had.
We finished with the Nutella waffle which was amazing. Will have to try apple and cinnamon next time!

As soon as you step in to the burger shop, you’ll notice how clean and bright the place is. With predominantly minimalist design makes this burger shop looking good, stylish and modern.
Food: Traffic jam burger (with the lot). Good balance with ingredients, can hold in your hand without falling apart. Really tasty with right amount of sauce.. wanted more 😋. Don’t get the NZ flag?

Exactly what Fairfeild needed! Every time we walk in, we are greeted immediately by the lovely staff that work there. Great customer service is imperative these days, and they’ve absolutely nailed it. And the food, WOW. Absolutely mouthwatering! I frequently order the Station Street burger, which is always on point however, if I’m super hungry I get the Take the 2nd Exit, which is MASSIVE and double the deliciousness. Chips are always perfect as well and the Peanut Butter Brownie and Golden Gaytime milkshakes are a MUST! Well done guys, you are nailing it!

The meat was juicy, not too salty and well seasoned. All in all an unfussy burger that was well put together in a Decent unpretentious place to sit down and eat. They have crayons and a note pad for the kids to draw whilst you wait, although the wait isn't long at all. Nice chips to go with it too and our friends enjoyed their onion rings.

Had a burger, loaded fries and waffles for dessert:
Fire Extinguisher – The burger had two crispy fried chicken breasts, partially melted cheese, jalapenos and avocado on top, and some coleslaw at the bottom. There were four different colour buns that you can pick from, just went with the black colour bun. The amount of fried chicken breast equated to a decently thick patty and by separating the chicken breast into two pieces there were more of the crispy fried coating which provided the seasoning and flavour. The batter was only slightly crispy but had a nice savouriness to it and the chicken was succulent. The bun was soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together. The other ingredients added to the different textures and flavours; you have the creamy avocado, gooey cheese, crisp and refreshing coleslaw. The jalapenos unfortunately did not have much heat to it.
Beer battered fries topped with cheese kransky cheese sauce, spring onions and jalapenos – The chips were crunchy for the most part but some of the potatoes in the chips were a bit dense and grainy. The sliced kransky was nice and savoury; the gooey cheese sauce was tasty but not overpowering; and the jalapenos again had no heat. However it did provide a vinegary taste in addition to the savoury and cheesiness to the loaded fries.
Kit Kat waffle – There were two Belgian waffles served with three sticks of Kit Kat, two scoops of vanilla ice-cream and some fairy floss; then drizzled with some chocolate sauce. Finally some icing sugar was dusted on one side of the plate; very well presented. The waffles were sweet, a little crumbly and chewy and the Kit Kat added a crunchy texture to the dish. The chocolate sauce was mildly sweet and the smooth vanilla ice-cream really helped balanced the chocolaty flavour. There was also a side of fairy floss to aid if the dish isn’t sweet enough, perfect for a sweet tooth.
Overall a decent and filling meal; the burger was balanced in texture and flavour and had a good meat to burger ratio, only slightly disappointed that it wasn’t spicy considering that it’s called the ‘Fire Extinguisher’. Some heat in the loaded fries would have gone well with the cheese sauce and kransky but is just a personally preference. The waffle dessert, although simple and only required the pre-bought components to be assembled did not felt random and tasted great together.
New to Fairfield a burger joint with a beautiful decor and extensive menu to match. The place is super clean and the staff warm and welcoming.
We sampled two burgers; The Station Street Burger and The Fire Extinguisher. The Station Street was a simple cheeseburger with a slightly thicker then usual beef patty (150g), made of high quality wagyu. The patty was cooked medium rare and had great flavour.
The Fire Extinguisher was the star of the show and was one of the best chicken burgers we’ve ever had. The batter was nice and light and the flavours fresh. The coleslaw was creamy and the thick cuts of avocado just made it.
We also tried the Nutella fries and although we were speculative, it worked! Can’t wait to go back and sample some of their other burgers and shakes.

Another solid burger place on my quest for the best. The black bun is different and i just got the basic, entry level burger if you will, to play it safe. Nice bun and tasty patty but really needed something more. I think its because it didnt come with the groceries (lettuce tomato.) I was impressed by the sauteed mushrooms though. 7.5/10
Shakes; id come back for the shakes.....again....and again. Possibly on par with yo my goodness with the shakes. Ive had the milo one which was very nice but man, the golden gaytime. Just go and get that shake. I dare you. How can a golden gaytime ice cream turn into a shake? Well it just does and boy! Its like sipping a gg in liquid form. I dont know how they do it but hands down get it. Like literally right now if youre in the area get that shake and see for yourself.

In terms of choice, Burger Road played it smart. There’s something for everyone: gluten-free buns, veggie burgers, pork burgers, wings, kids’ meals, tonnes of shakes and the regular beef/chicken options. There is definitely a lot of choice, and you’ll need time to look through the menu (especially with burger names like ‘Straya Mate “Aussie Aussie Aussie”‘. Yep, that’s one burger).

The naughty shelia, wow! It looked like a photograph, just perfect. The beef was cooked to perfection, the bun was soft, not too much cheese and just enough heat. The standout of the day by far!!!
Onion rings were crispy and not soggy, chips were also nice and crispy and well seasoned.
Only downfall was the loaded fries, which were not so loaded and the cheese wasnt the best, more plastic than cheese to be honest

I have visited Burger Road twice in the last couple of months and have seen a huge improvement across the board. Better cheese, tastier beef and now alcohol.

Others in our party had various burgers, and all were delicious.
Only negative was they mixed a couple of things up on the order (i ordered sweet potatoes fries but got normal).

Great burgers. Loved the Sriracha sauce. Would do this over all other burger joints by far. Good eating area at the back as well. Makes Grill'd look ordinary. Add the sriracha sauce if you like it spicy. Good quality ingredients and that crappy yellow American cheese make it great. Good selection of chicken, beef, pork and veggie options that looked good. Didn't try the shakes or sweets but selection looked good and a little different.
We tried burger road tonight via menulog I have to say hands down best delivery yet!! Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted so so good even my 4 year old who is hard to please said it was "deeee-lishious" the portions were spot on I was so happy to see real avocado in the chicken burger not that hideous mushy dip stuff most people use. The jalapeños were crisp and fresh just so good I can't wait to try more especially the waffles! Great job you guys so many people are opening burger places but just don't meet the mark you deliver with great customer service and tasty product bravo!

The place to come to the north for a great burger. I've tried 3 of their burgers an shakes and they are delicious! The golden gaytime milkshake is my favourite here!

This place is such an awesome addition to the station street shopping strip in Fairfield. The staff are so lovely and welcoming the moment you walk in the door. I always struggle finding a burger place that also offers a good vegetarian option as well, and I have finally found a place that makes an amazing burger. Not only was my burger to die for, the shakes that they make are sooooooo delicious.
Juicy wagyu patties which were full of flavor and taste! I had the mooyalicious which was superb. For a new place these guys are doing so well. Can't wait to try their chicken burger 🤤 *update* I had the fried chicken burger and it was amazing!
Visited this new place last week and was really pleasantly surprised. The hickory chicken burger was amazing! Would highly recommend. Also had the Mac and cheese bites and a banana milkshake. Delicious! Look forward to visiting again!
Excellent burgers and drinks, the staff were friendly and attentive. The milkshake was a bit of a wait but well worth it. Easily one of the best over-the-top shakes I’ve had, all the ingredients were fresh and warm.
A nice burger joint with friendly staff and spacious seating. They offer a wide range of burgers and food on their menu and we ordered the chicken bites, chicken wings and chips as the sides. Generous portions and each side was so crispy and well fried.
Chips were lightly salted with herbs and salt and remained crispy throughout the meal.
Chicken bites were crispy but the batter was slightly dry and hard.
The chicken wings were sweet yet spicy and the meat was so tender.
Meet and greet burger - tender Wagyu beef with the most crispy fried chicken that remained crispy throughout and paired so well with the chipotle mayo and cheese mayo. The milk bun was also lightly toasted and fresh.
The oreomg shake was crazy. Freshly made waffles and a donut placed on top and the Oreo milkshake was well made. The waffles tasted great but would have been better if it were a bit more crispy.
Overall, a filling meal and worth trying.
The beast burgers, sides and shakes. The food here doesn’t disappoint, the burgers are expertly crafted and you have to try one of their shakes! It’s pretty much a meal in itself. Make sure to bring your appetite!!

❤️: Our favorite of the fantastic feast was the Bacon Cheesy Burger—so loaded! For burgers, go for the Meat & Greet, where the best of Wagyu Beef Patty meets Southern Fried Chicken, Bacon, Cheese, Jalapenos, Chipotle Mayo & Cheese sauce. If you love sweets, I’d recommend getting the Golden Gaytime Shake 😍😍.
The burgers are wagyu patties (not smashed), which was really good, full of flavour and juicy. I had the “take the 2nd exit and added a fried chicken on top, the chicken was real tender and do recommend. We also had the chipotle chicken wings of which the portion was very generous.

Very friendly service, my fave burger being the fire extinguisher- it was defs hot but the chicken was so crispy and delicious! The addition of avo was divine and really contrasted the heat! The take the 2nd exit was just your regular beef burger but they nailed it with the sauces, would love to see the beef a little less well done 🔥
The mac and cheese bites were seriously epic and they take them a whole week to make them!! Absolute dedication and it definitely pays off. They are incredibly delicious and rich and not dry at all which is what I find with most places and I end up being disappointed!
The shake was delicious but we were so full 😂 I would love to come back with an empty stomach so I could thoroughly enjoy it! The waffles were divine on top and the actual shake was yum too! It’s all about the aesthetics with these shakes and they nailed it

Pretty good burgers. WELL above average of what I expected. The burgers were well cooked and juicy. I really like flavours of both. The fires could have been better but that’s one taste I guess. The flavour was really good but prefer a crispier texture for chips. The buffalo wings were delicious but honestly wished they coated them a bit more. The chicken waffles were as good as they usually are. But I wish they made a crisper chicken coating but still really good. Waffle was perfect. They give a good selection of condiments and there’s a bunch of other stuff on the menu if anyone else wants to try it.
They also had a pretty busy night rush when we came in so hats off for still producing high quality food despite the pressure. Timing was pretty good.
It's everything I want in a burger joint and more! Loaded fries, fancy shakes, smokey BBQ wings and a crunchy southern fried burger. And that Mac&Cheese is a winner!
