Being a Solo traveller, I felt very welcome and safe here. Chef showed me my overnight site which was secure in this cute little town. Lovely to enjoy the best and fast disappearing Country Pub atmosphere. The Owners are happy to share a wealth of history of the area, and fun repartee. Also shares

Loved the Silo art. Have our own coffee in our van but wanted to support small businesses. Ordered coffee’s and got told they only make flat whites, thats not a worry….. then we received instant coffee!! Again fine as we are not coffee snobs but then to be charged $5 a cup!! Sure meals sre probably

Great meal, I had the fish and chips, friendly bartender has a great beer garden. Has a few dog that are very friendly. Plenty of parking and right opposite the newly painted Silo. You should pop in for a coffee..... :)

Great place to stop during our visit of the Clare Valley area. Stayed out the back in our van, met a few other travellers, had pre dinner drinks in the garden with them and then dinner inside. Enjoyed our steak, snitzel and chips then played some free pool. Managed to find the hidden elephant on the

Didn't go to the Pub but opposite was the new "Silo Art" - brilliant. Old railway station ( private residence now) ond ornate brick watertank tower - part of our railway heritage.

Plenty of character, yummy meals. Accommodation available including free camping out the back
