Shiraaz is amazing! My partner and I always enjoy “butter chicken Friday!”...and this place has never let us down. The butter chicken is the best I’ve had, the naan is beautiful and the service is always so friendly. Love Shiraaz and would highly recommend it to anyone.
The food was nice, the service you couldn't fault. Our drinks never had a chance to run out. Reasonably priced and ok portions. We have had better but it was still really good, if you did dine here you shouldn't be disappointed.
Definitely the high end of Indian food in the area. Decor and service was wonderful. Beautifully presented and flavorsome dishes. Recommend the butter chicken and the garlic naan. A bit more expensive that your everyday Indian restaurant but absolutely worth every cent. Will be returning to this gem.

Enticing aroma of spices as soon as you enter the restaurant. Friendly service too, with prompt waiting time.
We enjoyed our meals very much - somewhat simple choices but full of flavour, fragrance and a feast for the eyes as well.
Kudos to their garlic naan - it's probably the freshest I've ever had, pulls away softly and not chewy - and do try the coconut rice to accompany mains.
First time in the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. Good food, good service and price was great. Heaps of take away orders as we sat in the restaurant too.
We love this place and always visit this place now and then. Nice ambience and well served place with good food and wine options. Must try Shiraazi Kofta and Mix Platter. Food is well served and good in quantity.

Tried Shiraaz on a Tuesday night. Was pleasantly surprised. It is situated in the Ferntree Gully Plaza area but across from Royal Oak hotel. The decor was very nice for the position of the restaurant. (no offense to FTree Gully...)
Very professional and friendly service. Started with Samosas and Kingfisher beers. Mains were Butter Chicken and Daal with Garlic Naan. Very nice. Butter chicken was tasty and not too creamy/buttery like some others. Daal was very flavoursome and a bit thicker than most so that was good to tuck into with the Naan and rice! All in all, the best Indian I've had in the area (there's a couple. I live in Boronia). Will definitely be back for another meal! Theres an extensive range of dishes there and a couple I hadn't seen before.
Decent food, with excellent prices, friendly service, and beautiful surroundings. I've probably had a bit better Indian food, but in consideration of everything else, I'm definitely looking forward to going back!!
Always a pleasant meal and good service. Only downside is how loud this place is, seriously.. It's that loud. We can't even have a conversation with the people next to is without cupping our hands and shouting.

Amazing Indian. Fantastic Indian. First went here about 6 years ago, from a friends recommendation. Wow! They weren't overstating how great the food is. Couldn't and wouldn't go anywhere else.........the flavours are amazing!
The best Indian restaurant in the area for miles around. We have been going here for more than ten years and the food is always good. Their butter chicken is amazing. You should also try the Dahl Markanhi.

A lovely place to dine in at or the takeaway pack is amazing value! The butter chicken has so much flavor- absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Shiraaz.
One of the best!. It is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne! The food is full of taste and you can clearly feel high quality ingredients used there. The atmosphere is also pleasant. If you go before sunset, you can enjoy the view of Dandenong Ranges from big glass walls of the restaurant.
When my folks said we were going for Indian way out the the suburbs, I thought I was in for another greasy, mediocre curry experience.
But you know what? The service was attentive and polite. Waiters constantly refilling water glasses and checking on us, even though the restaurant was full. The food was awesome, especially the veg dishes - flavourful and fresh, good potions.

Real authentic Indian. Shiraaz is such a great place to eat. The atmosphere, authentic food, price and most of all the hospitality is just incredible. We have friends from the inner suburbs who travel here when they eat out for Indian. Definitely the best Indian I have had and keep going back for more.

Best Butter Chicken Yummm. I dined at Shiraaz some years ago when the origianl Owner ran the business. The food was outstanding back then and the best butter chicken I have had. Dined there many times. Due circumstances not anything to do with the restaurant, I had not dined there for a very long time. But only recently went back there to try it again with my sister (who reguarly dined there ages ago). I looked on Urbanspoon to see feedback and saw it was good. We wondered if the butter chicken was as nice as it was ages ago. Well I must say this, the food was just as nice as what is was when I last ate there some years ago. The restaurant is now by owned someone whom worked for the original owner and the butter chicken still tasted just as good (we were most pleased!!). We took some friends with us and they loved it too and commented the food was the best Indian food they have had. Will be back to dining at Shiraaz again on a regular basis. The drive from where I live in Chadstone is worth the trip!!!
Yum. This is our local restaurant. The service is always brilliant, they are friendly, courteous and we have always enjoyed their food. The butter chicken is delicious, so is the garlic naan! 10/10!

Best local Indian restaurant... We have eaten here twice over the last few years , but due to covid and lockdowns on and off, we have had take away at least a dozen times. Very good garlic naan , butter chicken and excellent tandoori lamb cutlets. Nice friendly staff too.

Location is great, just next to ranges. Grilled meat platter was tasty and had nice quantity. Grilled mushroom was bit less cooked, we felt raw spices. Ambience is nice and warm.
Delicious food with excellent service! The mango chicken was slight too sweet but matched well with the naan, and the lamb korma was also nice and creamy. We enjoyed our dinner there and will definitely visit again.
