Hands down the best Indian food I have eaten. I will have to return, very soon. Wonderful staff, great atmosphere.
Love the food and the service at Mumbai Grill. Have brought friends along on a number of occasions and they love it too. Definitely my favourite Indian restaurant.
We visited here last night for a birthday dinner with family. Nothing to complain about. The food was tasty with a good heat. We ordered butter chicken, village beef, chilli lamb, naan, saffron rice and a couple of various entree options. A solid menu is on offer with all the usual suspects. Our server was friendly and efficient. BYO wine only.

Everything was perfect! nice size rich and tasty probably one of the best tandoori chicken I've ever hadπ and the samosas are just yummy! !I've ordered again chicken madras. And beef vindaloo again! You can change curries on the set menu for equal price excellent! ..seriously the best indian food in the eastern suburbs! ππ
Definitely try have never eaten in but the takeaway or home delivery is superb!
Best Indian food in ferntree gully. Better then average pricing, fast service.
Take away is nice and easy as well.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to, and certainty the best in the area. The chicken tikka masala is devine when it's really hot. The breads are also really good.
Great food, great staff. I can highly recommend the butter chicken, the dal masala, palak paneer and the naan. Would be a top place if it was located in the city!!!

Wasn't expecting it to be this good! Always good quality food, and often very good. Some nice individual touches, not exactly the same as what you get everywhere else. I'm very happy this is our new local!
PS: We haven't eaten in so can't speak to complaints about service.
Fantastic. Received their brochure in the mail and decided to give it go. I ordered a takeaway butter chicken, naan and saffron rice. It was DELICIOUS!! and huge! The regular portion could feed two people! The ladies working there were lovely and greeted me when I arrived. I would highly recommend.
FANTASTIC. Just had dinner here and had the best experience. The decor was beautiful and clean, promt friendly efficient service, the food was empecable. 10/10. big colourful courtyard out back. my new favorite place to eat!
Come on a regular basis and bring lots of friends. We always have a great night out. The food is always excellent. service is always good and it's great value for money. give it a try.

Loved it. Went because a friend had had take-away from there and thought it was good. We had a ball. The place was quite busy but it was still quiet enough to enjoy our conversation. Lovely music, dΓ©cor is nice (funny little Indian men dolls ?), service could not be faulted, very friendly and the food was fabulous. We had 4 different mains, two types of rice, naan bread, wine and a dessert. I didn't think it was any dearer than some other local Indian places where the food is nowhere near as good.
I had never been so can't compare to the previous owners. My favourite Indian place is Indian by Nature up at Mount Dandenong but its a bit further away from us, so if I want local, this will be it for Indian for me now.
Decided on the buffet. The food was yum, best Indian I have had in ages. Been to other buffet, you just get the basic slow moving dishes, this buffet was as good as ordering from the menu. The price was right, will be visiting again and again..
Very Friendly, Super clean & Food A1. I used my shop-a-docket to order 2 lovely Indian curries (2 for the price of 1) for only $12.90 - The meals had heaps of flavour, and they were very nice people. The garlic Naan bread was beautiful. We will go again.
Aloo gobi masala delicious! Samosas were nice too.
Pretty good. I went with a friend one night mid week and it was very quiet which was nice :) onion bhajis really good and so was the pakora, the passanda curry i had was nice but not sweet enough.......I was told the chef made it just for me which i thought was odd but hey ho it was good and there was lots of it :) the mango chutney is awesome too! we talked to the owner and he seemed like a cool little dude :)
over all pretty damn good............the only downside is that its a little pricey

What an amazing find to stumble onto.
The food and service were both top notch, my partner and I loved the entrees (samosa and bhaji).
The mains were equally as delicious and filling.
Will definitely return and would definitely recommend.
My local Indian is closed for renovations so I decided to give Mumbai Grill a burl and Iβm bloody glad I did. Had one lamb dish and one chicken, both delicious, both full of flavour and spice. Coupled it with a garlic naan and created an all round top notch meal. Will be hard to choose between my local and Mumbai Grill in future. Definitely recommend. ππΌππΌππΌππΌ
We frequently order take away from here. We have tried nearly all of the dishes and are rarely disappointed. There is always huge amounts of flavour to every dish and the serving sizes are generous.
