I am now a regular at Salte. Absolutely love this little place! Amazing coffee, the vegan muffins are soooooo good, and every meal I've ordered has been excellent. The staff are lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend!! Only thing is there is limited seating so at peak times such as weekends or public holidays it can be hard to get a table. All in all great place. Just what Ferntree Gully needed.
Love this little place at FTGully. Friendly staff, great mocca and the best cheesey cheese toastie you can ever have. Warm welcoming atmosphere. We travel from Seaford and it's well worth the trip. Love Lola too.
Salte eggs is truly a magnificent dish. Atmosphere, service and coffee all first rate.

My Mum took me to this amazing little find today after she wouldn't stop raving about her first visit! We both had the waffles which were delicious and fresh! Something you would see in an inner city cafe, absolutely impressed. The staff are wonderful and friendly as well, service with a smile! Definitely will be telling all my friends to head down!

So I got the crumpets from here because they didn’t have the waffles and they were DIVINE!!!! 5/5 stars amazing!!! One of my top brunch places now - an absolute gem of a cafe - each flavour was so strong and blended well with each other...an AMAZING dish!!!
Nice to see a cafe so far from the CBD with so many vegan options. Staff are lovely and music and atmosphere are good. Coffee is better at rapture cafe though (1 minute walk away from this place). But both places are great and get 4 stars from me.
First time visitor this morning with my son for breakfast. Hands down the best chai latte I've ever had! Breakfast donuts were to die for. Both meals were great in size. Wonderful customer service by the waiter. Was lovely to eat out the front of the cafe in the morning sun. Will be back for sure!
Delicious coffee, food and sweets! Cute little cafe in FTG. Everything made on site. Avocado with sweet potato rosti was very tasty. Indulgent apple crumble with custard muffin and very good coffee. Topped off with great vibe and service!
Went for coffee and cake with a friend recently, really enjoyed the afternoon. It’s a nice cafe with inviting decor, indoor and outdoor seating options, and lots of vegan options both on the menu and in the display cabinet. Looking forward to going back for a meal.

Excellent food and coffee, never disappointed, staff are lovely and very attentive. They have lactose free milk for coffee which is a bonus and their daily muffins are to die for ☺
My partner and I love this place - the food is consistently delicious and the staff are great. It has a nice atmosphere and is very comfortable. Coffee is perhaps a little bit expensive, but the food is cheap - we're often able to get breakfast and coffee for under $45 - so even with coffee being a little pricey, overall it's not ridiculous. It would be amazing if this place explored the option of dinner on a Friday and Saturday - it would be the perfect place for a nice, intimate evening. Having a nice outdoor area would be nice in summer, it would also ensure there's more room for people to sit and enjoy.
Happened to drive by this place and we were out of options so took a gamble and stopped to have brekky here. To be honest we were very pleasantly surprised at how good it was! The actual outside and indoor appearance isn't much to go by and looking a little worn. But don't let that deter you, trust me! I'm pretty fussy with my coffee and it was delish. 👌 And the food...just as good! Friendly and good service, very accomodating and very reasonably priced. Will definately be back and definately recommend you make a visit. 😉
Stopped in for breakfast with my wife.
I had the Egg and Bacon with mushrooms my wife had the pasta salad with pulled pork.
Both were very tasty and cooked nicely.Also had coffee with the meal,coffee is very nice and good size mugs.
Service is great and the appearance of the cafe is clean and tidy .
If your in Ferntree Gully do stop in for a coffee and a bite oh and not bad priced too 😉.

We're return customers here. Very nice food. Prompt and friendly service. I love the outdoor area they have out the back.
Found the prices to be reasonable for what we had as well. Two lots of eggs, bacon & has browns (plus grilled tomato on one), two large coffees with an extra shot and an apple juice came to about $60.

Yum! We really enjoyed the "Salte eggs Benedict" and coffee. The service was very polite and friendly too.
A fantastic find. We were passing through the area and wanted a brunch with some friends and Salte delivered a great experience. Friendly staff, great coffee and tasty unique meals. Highly recommend.
