Loved that the burgers are named after Aussie rock songs - we got the Down Under ($13 - beef, cheese, onions, smoky BBQ sauce, mayo). Delicious and very generous. Easy to order and pay for online, we chose a pickup time and the process was seamless. We’ll be back to dine in when restrictions ease!
Came here the other night and had their famous Mac n crack. Which I love the name of the loaded fries topped with Mac n cheese and crispy crackling. This item certainly caught my attention. I went here due to their amazing photos on insta and I was so blown away. I had the pulled pork burger and I was so full I was recasted because I couldn’t finish all my loaded fries :( if your getting loaded fries share them because it’s too much for one person to eat. Service was good and all the food came out at the same time. Which I prefer so I can photos all at once. I can’t wait to be back here.
Great place for lunch or dinner, burgers were delish, chips are always great and the choc milkshake was great too! the outdoor eating area at the back is well decorated, a great place to go.
Like any good burger venue, it doesn't just stop at the burgers, quality sides are also an extremely important part of the menu and Flame Trees have nailed theirs. Thick, Thick milkshakes, fried chicken and best of all Mac n Cheese Crackle Fries 🙌🏻
Flame Trees Burger Bar is located on Forest Road in Ferntree Gully. We visited as part of a blogger night recently to check them out.
The highlights for me were the delicious sides. The buffalo wings were hot & spicy, the mac n cheese was rich & creamy & I loved the crispy bartered onion rings. The popcorn chicken was also a hit with everyone. A great variety of burgers & sides as well as beers, drinks & cocktails.

Have you got mad burger cravings? Well, Flame Trees Burger Bar will definitely fix that for you. We ordered the Great Southern Land with extra Mac n' Cheese and the Double Rosie! The chicken in the Double Rosie was cooked perfectly, with a splash of spice. The bacon also adds another dimension of flavour. All the ingredients were definitely having an awesome party in my mouth! They have amazing loaded fries and desserts also. They have a great set up with awesome movie artwork/ posters displayed around the joint, light-up neon signs and most importantly, great music. They have a mixture of indoor/ outdoor seating and also an indoor courtyard, which you can actually book for private functions! Definitely recommend this place, go check them out!
After visiting the Bayswater location, we visited the Ferntree Gully spot with some friends who were local.

Visited for lunch with a friend, ordered the Rosie, and loved it. A huge tasty burger, which I couldn't finish. The maple bacon is super appealing. Ordered a lager from the tap menu, which was the perfect accompaniment to the meal, as well as a serve of the onion rings done in panko. Yum! Service was ace with the friendly burger guy who knew his stuff. Thank you, will visit again for sure.

The food was great, loved that any of the options could be customised to be vegetarian. The 'Pleat' patty was a really tasty meat alternative. Coffee was good. Nice range of craft beers and cocktails available too.
Interior is new, with modern decor and lighting. Ambience was trendy and bar-like with a grungy industrial twist. Family friendly.
Great Burgers and awesome selection of local craft beers. Family friendly with a foosball table. Cheese Chilli fries rocked. Staff friendly and great service
