Review Naked For Satan - Fitzroy

Elisa Ngo
It was my first time eating upstairs. A hidden gem! The view is fantastic. Love to the location. Loved the food. This restaurant has always been a favourite of mine! I have been a repeating customer since the times of $3 burger and 0.90 cents oysters. I used to go on my lunch break when I worked around the corner. Thank you Max again for inviting my fiancé and my friends to dine here.

Food is delicious and tasty, best part is you don't have to wait long for the food to arrive. The rooftop is spacious, with lovely views, ample heating and different tables for small and large groups. There's a big selection of alcoholic beverages and some non-alcoholic options too.

Nice vibes, busy place and lots of seating. Theres a nice selection of food here. The chips here are great, so crispy outside yet soft inside and I'd recommend getting this. The croquettes were great, also crispy and the filling had a lot of flavour. The baby cauliflower was well presented but quite expensive for what was given/ didn't have much flavour.

We had the most delightful dinner! The menu is excellent, and very decent wine list, as well as gin options. I love the tapas style as it’s easy to try so many of the dishes, would be wonderful in a big group. The cocktails were well executed, the meal was phenomenal and the service impeccable. Add to that the most stunning view of the city skyline and I don’t think it gets much better. The dining space has a cosy vibe and our waiter was friendly and helpful, the service was perfectly timed and I just felt very taken care of. I think the price point is very reasonable for what you get, and I have paid more for less elsewhere in Melbourne. Parking is a bit limited, but not impossible on a weekday, recommend using PT if you can.

What a great venue! Absolutely delicious food and good value for money. Love the quirky decor and the city views from the rooftop. The staff were all so friendly and we never had an empty glass. Will definitely return on our next Melbourne visit.

Superb views of Brunswick Street, serious amazing views and vibes, had to get Melbourne long necks as they didn't have and classic Aussie beer on tap. Big venue, many levels. I was fair hammered when i left this joint. So you know its good. Great atmosphere, good bunch of folk's. Sometimes I wish I could remember where I've been, so i could go back there but where's theirs a will there's a way.... google.

Yessirrrrr came here for some beers and they were good as. The views from the rooftop are unrivalled. You get to see the entire Melbourne CBD skyline and then they have what seems like limitless amounts of beers on tap. Also had the chips as well and they were so crunchy and yummy.

Good place for catching up with friends. Small servings but nice food and bit too pricey! Friendly staff. They also charged us for someone else's drink which we realized later on.
Anna Shannon
Great for drinks and bar snacks!

We made a late reservation on our way there and barely managed to squeeze in. I'd highly recommend a restaurant booking!

Ordered:
🐚 Half a dozen oysters (special): freshly shucked to order, shallot vinaigrette ($19.00)
🦐 Grilled prawn skewers (2): bacon, red salsa ($15.80)
🍢 Grilled beef eyefillet skewers (2): peppers, piquillo salt ($15.80)
🐟 Kingfish ceviche: tigers milk, Spanish onion, beetroot sourdough ($22.00)
🍗 Confit duck leg: pickled red cabbage, raspberries, fig ($24.50)
🍝 Pumpkin ravioli: goats curd, chestnuts, watercress, honey ($29.00)

Review:
The food was delicious. The top 3 standouts for me were the oysters, grilled prawns and grilled beef eyefillet skewers. It was my second time trying oysters (ever!!) And it was such a pleasant experience. No fishy smell, just overall a delicious moment. The grilled items were perfection. There's something so classic and iconic about chargrilled meats that is juicy but has that hint of dangerous addictive charcoal flavour.

The service was engaging and really friendly! They were attentive and no fuss.

With its rooftop views, Naked for S atan is an iconic staple of Fitzroy.

Located in a alternative areas- populated by youngsters and young professionals. Bar downstair is large and spacious. Upstairs restaurant with outdoor patio. Great view of Melbourne in a clear day. A cool place to chill out with friends or just a look see

Have been for years.. never disappointed. Good for dates, catch ups, drinks with a view. Can get a little loud on the rooftop.. what rooftop??? and drinks?? Can't go wrong
Renegade
I honestly couldn’t fault this place. Everything from the ambience, the food and drink and the service were all on point. Everything was reasonably priced and the tapas menu had heaps to choose from and was all so tasty. It’s a recipe for success. Highly recommend for something a little different. If you manage to get a seat outside it’s a bonus.

Have only ever had drinks at Naked for Satan but that enough to know it’s a winner of a summer spot. Views and ice cold bevvies = winner! Will eat next time and report back.

This is what Melbourne is all about

LOVED:
🔸Great view from the rooftop bar, perfect for all weathers as it's open but undercover and heaters to keep you warm ❤️
🔸Some pretty amazing food deals almost every day. I went on a 90c oyster day....I ate 20 LOL
🔸$1 sliders with every drink order, another amazing deal, and makes me want to drink more 😉
🔸Lots of seating areas, you should be able to find a table somewhere
🔸Sliders were really tasty, I especially loved the fried chicken, great crunch and the chicken wasn't dry!
🔸Watermelon and Mint with Soda was SUPER refreshing and not too sweet, definitely one of my favourites

TIP/FEEDBACK:
🔹The infused vodka was super tasty, but I'm not sure how alcoholic, because I didn't feel anything at all after two and I am a lightweight with Asian flush

Pinxtos Sundays at @nakedforsatan_ and this was the highlight of the night. Baked camembert with truffle paste, chestnuts and ciabatta. Absolutely loved it.

Came here for their $3 burger deal every monday and tuesday! From chicken, beef, mushroom and okonomiyaki options, i chose the okonomiyaki! Surprisingly it goes well with the bun, nori and the sauces! I wish the bun is hot, can be toast a bit then it would be perfect!
Nay Nay
Naked for Satan is such a cool bar. It funky and has a great vibe. Loved the options of infused Vodka! On the happy hour even better. Can't wait to try some more flavours
Whalesfoodadventure
Really friendly staff. Came here on a monday and the burgers were $3. The mushroom burger had so much flavour. Grilld onions cooked to perfection aswell. Hot chips had great seasoning

Visiting this place was an absolute delight. The entire feel of having drinks here at their rooftop bar with the great view is Amazing. I love the vibes this place to offer. The nibbles options are pretty good too. My favourite part is the view and the vibes 😍

This Brunswick institution reminds me of my early days in Melbourne. It may be hyped, it may be crazy busy and it may be full of unsavoury or annoying characters from time to time, but I love it nonetheless. The range of vegan offerings is amazing. Both food and drinks are reasonably priced - especially the pinxos which I can easily make a budget meal out of. Naked for Satan will always be a top rooftop destination in Melbourne, gimmicky or not.

Seriously cool bar in the middle of Fitzroy, Naked for Satan is everything you think of when you picture a Melbourne rooftop bar. Split over several levels, there is something for everybody at this super cool establishment. Tapas style food is available on the ground floor, but when the weather is amazing, we like to take the lift to the rooftop.

The decor is super luxe, dark and cosy, with a European vibe. The rooftop terrace is so cool with plenty of tables, although it's usually very busy, so get in early if you want a table. With fantastic views over edgy Fitzroy, it is the best place to sit and soak up the sun with friends.

There is an extensive drinks list, and when the weather is nice it's hard to pass up on the classic Aperol spritz. There is a small but yummy tapas menu, and everything is delicious, including the croquettes that we shared on this day.

Naked for Satan has the reputation for being one of the most popular rooftops in Melbourne and who am I to argue with those claims. With impeccable service, a luxe ambience and such fab views, it's hard not to love it.

~Great vibes and great service ~

Had dinner and drinks here the other night and really enjoyed myself. I had the pavlova cocktail and thought I was super delicious- loved the foam on top.

The small bites we had were so delicious too- I loved the cheese croquettes especially - the addition of walnuts was so yum!!

Wagyu was cooked perfectly too and the confit duck fell off the bone- defs recommend this
Lovely location and view from rooftop bar. Friendly staff. I think what lets this place down is the cleanliness. Has amazing decor etc but everything was filthy. Tables, toilets, sticky bar.

We really wanted to try some of the food but there was nowhere clean to enjoy it upstairs

Good range of cocktails
Bites Of Melbourne
Great view from the rooftop

Cool trendy bar in Fitzroy but at times can be a bit over crowded which is not really my style.

Would prefer to visit other than a Friday or Saturday night
Ranmali
Tapas-style dining. The portion sizes are meant for sharing, and generally too small for one person. Food is delicious, drinks are great and they made accommodating me (as I didn't drink alcohol) seem easy. Rooftop outside is warm in winter and shawls are provided on windy days! Had a great time.
Jay Care
Love this place, one of my go-to destinations when showing friends around town. Great rooftop with a view, interesting canapes, plus delicious cocktails
Chef ASD
Very good interior.....i no want to explain about their interior because then I have to write so much.

Very detailed in every touch of their arrangements also bar. Food we don't try because we sit in roof top bar, it was so dirty.

And it's not a good place to have food and drink, so I suggest to have a drink here and food some where.
2 Good Forks
Great place and decoration with delicious drinks to choose from, plenty options of beer and food too. They do happy hours during the week with cheaper deals.

What used to be an old distillery has been turned into one of the trendiest bars to visit in Melbourne. Naked for Satan is definitely amongst one of our favourite places to take friends who visit from abroad. With its funky decor and friendly staff, Naked for Satan has all the components for a fun and casual night out with friends.

We heard so many great things about this resto so we had to try it. Ordered the brisket slider, juicy melon and oyster. We enjoyed everything we ordered, sad they phased out the pintxnos already, we went there for that but oh well. They should probably change their signage though if they don't serve that anymore
Lina's Music House
I've been here a few times with friends who are visiting Melbourne.

Love the views while dining here every time.

I usually order staff recommended dishes.

The dishes are full of flavour and very satisfying.
Lisa
Cannot fault the service and food here! We came for a light lunch after just arriving in Melbourne and we are not disappointed. Everything arrived quickly and all together was quite affordable. Will definitely be back before we leave!
Dumba
Great cocktail and mocktail list. The rooftop bar is great to spend a summer evening. Some of the corridors are a bit dark, but where you can see, there is good ambience.
Foodie By Heart 💓
Naked for Satan has one of the best city views in Melbourne, if you get a table near the window. And if you're lucky enough to get one of those tables, you'll constantly be pestered by a crowd of people standing right behind you taking photos of the view. The foods good though, and $6 Stone & Wood pints for happy hour is awesome.
VP
This place is a great date night bar! Actually it's just a great bar period hahaha the rooftop has such a nice view of the city with coloured fairy lights all over the place. Such a great vibe here and the cocktails are pretty nice too!! Have been wanting to go here for quite some time now and definitely was not disappointed! Although we didn't try any of the food, will definitely be back to try some more cocktails and give the nibbles a go!!! Highly recommend :)
Eat_today_diet_tomorrow
Been here twice but this time we got to try their food! Because this place is so popular we had to wait around 20-30 mins for the table. This place is very funky and you can somehow feel the punk. They have both indoor and outdoor seating where you can chill and enjoy the view.

We ordered some small things to share, our favourite dishes were the fried eggplant and the lamb. They were delicious!

Kit
Can't say much about the upstairs restaurant as I've only eaten downstairs, but I would highly recommend this place for some casual drinks and bar food. Although they've removed the pintxos (which were awesome for the price), the few bar foods we tried were all fantastic. Oysters were fresh and delicious (especially the kimchi one), mussels were well portioned and delicious for the price, and the sliders were also bang on. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area!
Tish Piaser
Been here for drinks and for bar food. Loved it everytime. Really awsome vibe. Go early as getting a table can be a challenge. Awsome roof top views
The Wandering Reviewer
Naked always brings on its best game and tonight was no different.
With a warm balmy night but a spring ole of rain the rooftop bar was still the place to be.
500ml of sangria was $28 so not cheap but it is all about the atmosphere. Staff are very nice and extremely helpful - although often rushed off their feet. Whether you choose to drink / dine I goofed or out both have something to offer. The vistas are stunning with brilliant views around Fitzroy, Collingwood, The City and more.
Take the time to explore the building as it has quite a good history and it’s quirkiness is probably what makes this place so alluring.
Food is consistently good but a little expensive.
Good parking up and down Brunswick Street. Not really kid friendly. Disabled friendly as there is a lift to the rooftop bar.
A must visit.
S
This place has an amazing view of the city and surrounds from the rooftop making it a very popular place
The bar fit out also adds to the ambience
I would have scored it higher just based on the space but the staff are so unfriendly - a smile would have been nice
Alijargalb
Came here for a drink and also grab a nibble. The food was so so, but the drink was quite good. I had the watermelon cocktail and love the atmosphere. Would definitely go back and try their vodka

A really underwelming evening. Came for dinner and drinks. Food was nice. Service was well below average.
Waited beyond 30 minutes when ordering drinks.
We asked for Bill and was told we could not split the bill for a table of 5.
We then were pressured to leave. They kept filling our water glasses until we left.
Definitely won't be back.
I'm surprised why it is so busy.
Melissa
Edit:
Lunch menu is now $11 for every dish, which is still an amazing price.

This time we ordered:
- Pork, veal and almond mushrooms in a tomato broth: 💯💯💯 I loved this so much, I was sad when it finished
- Baked camembert with truffle: dat is some gud cheeeeese, and that truffle, mmmmhmm
- Grilled prawn skewers: love the smoky taste, the juiciness of the prawns and the salsa on top makes it even more perfect

And all for 16.50 a person! What a deal.

___________________

Delicious food for a very decent price - the lunch menu is now $9 for every item :D
It's a shame the 50¢ pintxos are going away, they are always on point.

Ordered:
- mushroom parfait with poached pear: wasn't too much of a fan of the mushroom, but you can never go wrong with poached pear
- fried lamb ribs: really enjoyed the lamb, crispy and moist, nice seasoning too
- pintxos: love the variety, freshness of ingredients, and the combinations!
Flying Forward
4.5 if I could still give half stars.
I love this place for the sheer pleasure of helping myself to whatever pinxos takes my fancy.
What’s awesome is they will also come around to the tables and offer you hot pinxos when they come out.
I’ve always walked past, gone straight up to the rooftop thinking it doesn’t look fresh.
But seriously, even the bread is still soft with a nice crust, it’s so good.
At only 50c each, you really can’t go wrong.
Love the white anchovies (not salty!), jamon and goats cheese, all the different combinations make you feel like a kid in a lolly shop.
Get yourself a glass of wine and pick your way through for a really satisfying lunch, or even dinner!
Takes me back to San Sebastian!

Been to this place a few times, lovely atmosphere , great set of beers on the tap too. Amazing views of Melbourne Sky high. On my recent visit , we've had beef cheek, camberlet cheese and pumpkin ravioli. Good good but a bit on the pricey side. Good place for a friends catch up too.
Andrew Shelton
Make no mistake: the view from the roof is fantastic and you pay for it. The tapas/pintxos are good and dirt cheap but of course, you pay more for the drinks. Overall it’s fine but unless you’re on the roof, give it a miss.
🍍Wapmapt🍍
Wow. I went there for the first time today. The food was yummy and the decor amazing. The music not too loud. There's a downstairs eating area and an upstairs restaurant with great views. I'll be back
Prachi Tyagi
One of the best places for a night out in Melbourne, naked for Satan has been on my list to visit since a long time. We had a few drinks there and enjoyed the view from the rooftop seating area. A really cool place.
Danny Joseph Awabdeh
One of the best rooftops in Melbourne, decent prices.Cocktails are a bit pricey but great atmosphere and a view to die for, good place for a few bevs
Anna Mac
Amazing food and drinks, great range of beer. Love the little tapas for $1 each whilst having a drink and then moved up to the rooftop for an unbelievable view of the city. Staff super friendly too. Definitely worth a look.
Renee @thehappyorganicgirlau
Cocktails are a little on the pricey side but you’re really paying for the view. One of my favourite cocktail places in Melbourne purely for the view! I love they do Infuse their own vodkas but hate the long walk to the bathrooms.
J0yy173
This is one of our favourite places for drinks and Pintxos - Basque region snack of toppings on slices of bread. Enjoy an extensive drinks list, exotic flavours at mostly $0.50 a pop and an energised, pumping atmosphere.

Tonight's range of Pintxos didn't have as much variety compared to past visits and the eagerly anticipated hot Pintxos didn't emerge, unless we talked so much that we missed! Despite this there were still delicious combinations like balsamic caramelised pear with cream cheese, squid ink Rissoni with grilled calamari and blueberry mousse cannoli.

Love this place which definitely deserves return visits.
RGAnders
Nice ambiance and decorations. Tapas downstairs is affordable and the bar has a variety of great tasting cocktails. Dinner upstairs however can get very busy, can’t fault anything on the food but this place is pricey and portions could be better. Overall for taste and ambiance it’s a thumbs up.
Hannah & Meilisa
Amazing view from naked in the sky but drinks are expensive and the pinxtos that made this place great in the beginning have sadly been fading with its increasing popularity! Overall lovely atmosphere and view but expensive
Dani Boudville
Haven't been for a while but all I can say is pintxos. Lots of pintxos followed by lots of gin or rum or beer or cider. Rooftop in the summer is amazing if you can nab a seat, I'm pretty sure some people just live there.
@foodtom
Naked for satan is a great place for a drinks and catch up with mates. It is a great bar overall.

The atmosphere is amazing, cosy and the view outside is great.

They have an extensive list of wine which they are high quality, I picked a really nice shiraz.

The food was great for the price, greatly portioned and came out quick.

Oysters are fresh and the heirloom carrots was tasty.
Rosemarie Speidel
Great food, great service and value for money lunch deal. We have been regulars for many years and were disappointed that on of our favourite dishes the pumpkin ravioli is no longer on the menu. Given the dish is not only popular with customers but also staff we urge the cook to reconsider their decision.
Tan.ned
Really good place in terms of service and ambience. The food was definitely great but the price also matched the dishes. A tad pricey considering most dishes costs 16 and above. Although, most tapas places do always come with a high price point. Overall, pretty satisfied. A perfect place for a special occasion because it can definitely get expensive
Carol Cruz
My husband and I tried this restaurant thinking we can indulge into something nice, tasty yet affordable dinner. We had high expectations as this has high ratings online. We didn't had reservations but we were lucky to be seated at a nice table by the window in the restaurant. Everything was nice. The ambience of the place and the rooftop setting was beautiful. Service was exceptional at the restaurant. Staff were very attentive.

The only concern I had was the food are overpriced for its portion. We spent around $100 for 3 dishes that has very small portions. Don't get me wrong, the dishes were beautifully made. I just don't see the worth of paying that much amount of money - around $30ish for a dish that looked like an appetizer. I could've spent it somewhere else. I recommend that management should take a second look at the pricing of the restaurant menu.

Am I coming back? Maybe for drinks but definitely not for restaurant dinner.
Anna Lee
I absolutely love coming here! My favourite place on a Friday or Saturday night for drinks.. service is always on point and food is great also. Would definitely recommend this place.. has a great vibe
SJFU
You can’t beat Naked’s $9 special. The food is beautifully made, and consistently so. I am always impressed by the freshness and quality. Lovely view from the balcony, and really friendly service. Always a good one to come during weekday lunches or Sunday dinners.
PW Lou
We are at the restaurant which is upstairs. We did not book but were fortunate to get a table.

Service was superb. Very attentive but not overbearing.

We ordered the scallops, octopus and pumpkin ravioli. Good quality however the portions are small. Be prepared for an expensive Bill!
Michelle
This is the place for you if you want to fill up on bread. The pintxos downstairs are cheap at 50cents a pop but price is the only thing going for it. Expensive food at the restaurant upstairs and watered down cocktails sums this place up.

Pintxos are small snacks that usually come pierced with a skewer. They are usually bits of bread with various toppings on them. Code for cheap white bread slapped together various toppings like pumpkin or a sad slice of salami. Get your fill though because if you dare venture upstairs you’ll be met with tiny portions of food for an exorbitant price. We paid $20 for 5 thin SLICES of duck with a leafy garnish. This would be fine if the taste justified the price but the flavour was mediocre at best. Needless to say we left hungry. Adding insult to injury the cocktails were watered down. It’s not all bad though. Stunning city views upstairs at naked in the sky are probably the only reason this place remains so popular.
Sonia Konstantinou
I can’t even deal with how over rated this place is. The pinxos is a good thought but you totally missed the mark on that one. You created no basque experience what so ever. Also, why for the love of god can I never get a good drink there. Nice view though.
Feed Feed
Service and food both are below average. The decor is nice inside. Go here for the amazing view of Brunswick and city from the rooftop. Entire Brunswick street is visible from rooftop
Descartesmuse
Love it! Everything here just works really really well. The service is great, the food is on point each time. The way its all done is quite unique but also very interesting and comfortable. The roof top bar is extremely popular, so just be mindful of that if you're planning a night out, you may be disappointed. So hope for the best, but expect the worst. Definitely a place to keep on your go-to list.
Thi
Went with a friend for lunch and tapas were at a set price of $9. We ordered the meatballs, oysters, prawn skewers, beef skewers, steak tartare and the empanadas. Service was good and food came out fast. Food in general was okay, however the prawn skewers were bland. Not sure if it was because it was $9, but if I paid the $20 for the tiny tartare (pictured), I would feel very ripped off. Maybe they made the portions smaller during the special.

Naked for Satan situated in the trendy hub of Fitzroy on Brunswick street, is a very popular iconic location to indulge in modern tapas style cuisine whilst sipping on numerous alcoholic beverages with a breath taking view.

I’ve been to this great vicinity on numerous occasions and it is always busy, especially on the rooftop that displays stunning views of Brunswick street looking both towards and away from the city. After a great Saturday out we ended up at Naked just for a few drinks and to soak up the last bit of sun for the day. We went straight to to the rooftop that was packed but lucky enough a couple had just left and we snatched up the small table immediately.

When ordering at the bar it can be hard to get the bartenders attention due to the large number of people awaiting their drinks. Naked for Satan in known for their lengthy booze list, so in light of this we decided to order the blueberry smash cocktail and the very much needed late afternoon pick me up of a long black.

The drinks where whipped up in a speedy and stylish fashion and we sipped on our beverages enjoying the loud company of the half tipsy weekend crowed enjoying a solid Saturday sash. The long black was nothing special as one could expect to receive from a bar. The brew was very, very weak with only a slight acidic flavour towards the end. The blueberry smash cocktail on the other hand was awesome. Featuring quality sip smith vodka, blueberries, mint, lime and crushed iced it was a refreshing thirst quenching drink. Deceivingly strong, the vodka was crisp on combination of mint and lime ensured that it wasn’t to sweet.

After watching the sun set we wondered down to the ground floor that was still whipping out plates full of the best 50c tapas money can buy. For 50c I mean one can’t leave without trying at least 1 or 2……. Before we jetted off we sampled one each of the grilled squid severed on squid ink risoni as well as the chocolate cointreau filled cannoli. The chocolate cointreau mouse filled cannoli tasted exactly like a boozy jaffa with the crisp cannoli shell acting as the sugar coating for the iconic orange flavour chocolate. The grilled squid was a little chewy and the risoni was rather salty but for 50c one can’t complain.

Naked for Satan is aways a good time whether it to be to dine in the sky in style or just to catch a few drinks with friends, one is sure to leave happy and ranting about this great vicinity to others.
Steven Gu
Naked for Satan at Fitzroy. Popular place in Fitzroy and good service with great tasty food. Unique environment with a lot of cocktails and liquor choices. Great for a late night hang out.
Afrovegan
The tapas are great, only downside is the wait for rooftop seating. I’ve had to leave a few times because of the seating issues. However great views on the rooftop. Ps more vegan options would be perfect 👌🏿
Ben
If you want bad service, come here! Was trying to help my friend find her phone, and after we did when we tried to get into the bar they wouldn’t let us in. The bouncers called us “stupid Americans” and said that we had no place being there. So, if you want a fun time, do NOT go here.
Lea
Got sidetracked to this joint when I was looking for Lune Croissant. Went in and was delighted with the service, ambience, decor and different servings of cocktail food for less than a dollar each! Mainly sells Vodka infused beverage on different mix of flavours: apple & cherry, rose & lychee, chilli, Lavender, and many more.
Little Bit Of Everything
An amazing place to hang out with friends. Absolutely love watching sunsets from here, my favourite time of the day to be here. Watching the sun set under beautiful Melbourne is just mesmerising.
I am a cocktail lover and have pretty much tried everything on their menu. With food I prefer their nibbles late in ten night so much easier and convenient to pick small bites of your choice than ordering a whole meal.
If you are dining at the restaurant just remember they do know pretty well how to cook their meats so don’t hesitate and speak to one of their friendly staff they will suggest you what’s best, point to note they have pretty big portions.
Amysyder
The array of drinks and the view is the reason to come here, not the food. I have been here twice now. The first time I went for food on the top floor with some friends. Whilst the food was delicious, the amount we payed for the portion size was a joke. I ended up having to go home and make myself another dinner. If you would like to eat here I would recommend the Pintxos available on the bottom floor, those are very delicious and can easily fill you up. Reasonably priced for $0.50 for one. I was also not very impressed by the service from the staff who came off rude. I am lactose intolerant and so have to be careful not to consume any dairy. I asked a member of staff if they would be able to inform of any Pintxos that had been cooked in butter or contained dairy, they made me feel stupid for asking which was not nice and made a side comment about how they don't really cater to those types of needs. I have no desire to return here any time soon.
Camila José Reyes
Great bar! Love naked in the sky! The cbd views are really nice
Pintxos and beer are really good, a bit pricey though (the beer).
Great spot in Melbourne!
SweetTooth
Everyone was so friendly and helpful! The ambience is great and the food is fantastic! Really good prices as well (went weekday lunch). Had food in the restaurant section and then went downstairs for a few pinxtos.
Zamal
really my rating is a 3.8 / 4. the environment is probably my favourite thing here, the outside area has a great view. not sure if there is like a fire escape?? you have to get a lift up to the restaurant but the stairs are blocked... or something. ANYWAY. food is quite out there/a little experimental/left of centre. lots of food, nice combos. nice creative spins on regular food. NICE
Vivian
Amazing bar ! I love taking friends here that are visiting Melbourne that want a bite to eat but also a place to relax and have some drinks ! The Pintox is cheap and delicious at I think $2 a pop . They charge you at the end when they count how many toothpicks (one per pintox) you have - so it’s solely reliant on honesty
Vivek
Naked for Satan located in the hip and trendy Fitzroy suburb of Melbourne is one the best places for a sundowner in Melbourne. The entire place has three floors and the roof top is the place you want to be in. The views of the Melbourne skyline during dusk and during the night is majestic and beautiful.
The Darth Zader
Tbh it’s the balcony and decor that makes this place special. You can see the entire Brunswick street from the upstairs terrace. The tapas are cheap (50cents each), and the drinks are standard. Great place to go for a night out with friends.
Morts
What a fabulous place! Hasn’t been for years and it’s still fab!! Amazing food in the dining great service awesome views!! Very happy can’t wait to go back
This is a fun little rooftop bar w a bar on the ground level too. Upstairs is where you wanna be tho, because that’s where you’ll get some amazing views of the city and the northern suburbs.

The service however leaves a bit to be desired. I overheard a barman telling another barman NOT to engage in conversation wit the punters. That same barman was really condescending to a tourist who was asking about different local beers.

And for some reason ppl were served before us so we had to wait and wait to get served. We ended up getting a Patron tequila which was fantastic hahaha but we didn’t even get an opportunity to tell the barman which Patron we wanted, he barman just walked off and poured what he wanted us to have. But I wasn’t complaining lol

Still it’s pretty poor customer service.

Then I got a frozen drink w blood orange slushy for the first time and WOW hahaha it was perfect!! I want more and more now lol

Overall whilst the drinks were excellent, the service really lets this place down!

Ahh you can't come to Melbourne and not have their cheap tapas.

Been ages since I've gone but still fondly remember good food a very decent price.

Time to plan my next trip!

Went here with my friend to try their pintxos and it is 50c each! I really like the one with salmon as it tastes really fresh and the cannoli one is superb. The staffs are lovely as well. Great place to chill with your loved ones ❤️

Naked for Satan is a staple in the Melbourne rooftop scene so I was ultra keen to try this much hyped Spanish bar/restaurant! From my experience with the food, drinks and atmosphere I imagine it will be a constant in town for many years to come. We visited two of the three spaces at Naked for Satan: The Pintxos Bar and the Rooftop. The variety of spaces caters to all which is great but as it was such a beautiful sunny day the rooftop was a must (the skyline view is amazing!). All food is Spanish themed in all spaces and draws a lot of inspiration from the northern regions (aka Catalonia). Read below for a review on each of the spaces as they are quite different to one another.

Come for the drinks and the view, not the food. The place itself is awesome. Drinks are good. Atmosphere is good. View is amazing! Food could do with an update, had to go out for a second dinner after eating here.

Fab views from the rooftop bar. I loved the chilli cherry vodka, and the baked cheese is still being spoken about. The rooftop can get cray cray busy and a little hectic, but if you’re patient you can score a table with a view. Love the pintxos downstairs for a quick snack on the way upstairs.

Was there 2 nights ago. Ordered beer from the menu. They didn't have it. I ordered another brand of beer. They didn't have it either. Ordered wine. Guess what? They had 1/2 glass left. Another bottle was in downstairs bar but I guess they didn't want to go downstairs... In the end they gave me 1/2 glass of another wine and handed me 2 half full glasses making me look awkward to say the least. Well done team! 😣
I was going to go to Addict Food and Coffee but who can resist 50c pintxos. As this is a limited birthday offer I had to go.

I was only planning on getting a few but being the greedy girl I am, I got most of them, this happens pretty much every time I come here so I shouldn’t be surprised. I got $6 worth hahaha.

My favourites were the caramelised onion and pumpkin only beaten by the one with coriander pesto, cheese, roasted capsicum and lettuce. I also enjoyed the mini cannoli and Oreo ball. My least favourite was the pear with the cream cheese, I remember enjoying this one in the past but now they used canned pears instead of fresh which makes it way too sweet.

The people working here were friendly but I overheard one staff member saying she was doing a double shift and she doesn’t take breaks. You need to take a break girl!!! I really enjoy the setting at Naked for Satan and I want to come here with friends but we might miss out on the 50c deal because it’s not for much longer.

Edit: I went to use the toilets and as I was walking there it absolutely stunk like sewage. I know the toilets here can be a bit smelly but this was really strong and I wasn’t even that close to the toilets. This is really off putting.

We popped into Naked for Satan on what turned out to be a wonderful afternoon in Fitzroy. The sun was out so we headed upstairs for Fitzroy’s best views down bridge and back towards the city. It’s an amazing space upstairs so you can sort of forgive the clunky lift which is the only entrance option up to the top level. Does take an age at peak times... I’ve been there before! The drinks upstairs are great and the bar as impressive as the views. Today we really just came up to glance and show off this venue to some out of towners before we all headed back downstairs for their pintxos (small bar snacks). These happened to be on a birthday celebration special and were just 50 cents each which for the content was a very generous price. $10 feed the four of us adequately to see us on our way.

I alway forget just how impressive upstairs is so need constant reminders.

Great atmosphere, good selection of cheap pinxtos (what a steal!), good selection of drinks and a beautiful view. Don't miss this spot when you're in the area!

Went here as a group of four. We ate upstairs on the rooftop in the dining area. The food was ok, but overpriced for what it was - nothing special and portions are super small. Tapas is a great concept but prices need to match that. Feels like the place is overpriced because of the view from the rooftop, which is really nice especially during the sunset. Service was ok, a bit too slow/relaxed for my liking, but nice and friendly. Wine was delicious 👌🏻 overall - would come back for a glass of wine during the golden hour of sunset but not for food.

This bar has the most unique setting; Satanic/Hellish themed. One to definitely remember. Bar has amazing selection of alcohol which is much of a standard especially in this area. Whilst the drinks are great here, do head upstairs to Naked in the Sky for the most amazing tapas. Drinks are even better with the delicious food that they serve upstairs.

Its a nice place for a cosy catchup over varied tapas style pintxos snacks and drinks. Quirky eclectic decor that kinda reminded me of Moulin Rouge with the furnishings, red hues, shadows, lights and sparkle.

Came here based on recommendation. We only had drinks. Did not mind the eclectic look and feel of the place. This is all about the views on the roof top. Spectacular!!! A cool bar definitely worth visiting

Went with mates on a Saturday night and wasn't sure what the hype was about. There are way too many tables shoved in the balcony. The wait wasn't honestly worth it. The rooftop needs to have a little more appeal than it currently does.

So over-priced. Paid nearly $30 for a beer and a g ‘n t. Then thought we’d buy some popcorn chicken to go with our further drink—another $40 later, we were mortified. Popcorn chicken was dry, un-tasty and fatty. Others had left theirs sitting at their tables. Beer was cold and fresh on tap. Great location, great views, nice for a session on a Sunday but well over priced and average quality. Have eaten here and thought is was mediocre at best too.

Undeniably gorgeous views from the rooftop bar, and even if you miss out a seat there, the charming and quirky interior is bound to captivate you too. An extensive list of alcoholic drinks, some traditional and some interesting mixes, and if you don’t decide, you can always fall back on reds, whites, beers or ciders. The bar staffs are super efficient, but I think some could do with more of a smile on their face. Have yet to try the famed $1 pintxos, so I can’t comment on them.

+ Food
+ Value
+ Staff
+ Service
- Lift
- No option to take the stairs
- Having to wait 15 minutes to leave the place due to the lift being full

Beautiful Rooftop Bar overlooking Collingwood so amazing in summer for the warm nights and cold drinks. Not great in terms of lines or space - not enough seating areas in my opinion but still great for catching up and Sunday sessions.
