The wife wanted to try the surf and turf. Not sure if it was designed to be shared but there'd be no way I could eat all of it on my own. It was decadent and delicious. Both the lobster and steak were cooked perfectly

Ordered two steaks rare and they came out beyond well done with undercooked chips. In fairness, when this was pointed out to the waitress, she offered to take them back, but we were so hungry we didn’t bother. Pretty disappointing at almost $50 each.

We went on a very cold day for their 'Sunday roast with all the trimmings'. The roast for the day was pork. The pork was beautifully cooked with a mustard sauce, and served in what I'd call a bean soup (I'm sure they gave it a fancy name). However this was all. I was very disappointed there were no roast potatoes, pumpkin or other veges, no crackling, no apple sauce. I was expecting 'all the trimmings' would be more than a bean soup. I went home and cooked my own roast veg to finish the meal 😕

The food was first class and aligned with the fine dining prices. The service, however, was very disappointing. Plates weren't cleared, cutlery wasn't delivered, water wasn't topped up, the wrong dish was delivered to one of our party, and the service staff were largely absent so rectifying any issues was an effort. Despite booking weeks in advance there were 8 of us squashed on to a table for 6. It's hard to stomach sports bar service when you're paying fine dining prices. We've dined at TFTHH previously and had nothing but lovely experiences. We understand covid has been difficult on the hospitality sector but given the way in which other of our favourite restaurants have maintained quality food and service, we can't help but be disappointed after our last visit to TFTHH.

The best pie I have ever eaten. The Chef is a creative genius. This place is a must all year round as it’s got four different areas to cater for the seasons including two open fires. The wine choice matches the rest of the menu and definitely try the French Onion soup 🍜

Just ok. Food was close to a chicken/fish at a wedding. We had 8 people so had a reduced menu choice. No sides offered. Asked the waiter about the Chardonnay by the glass and he said "it's nothing special, I wouldn't drink it!" Can't say I would recommend to anyone for the price.

So over priced for the quality of the food. And no table service when charging between $25 & *$48* per plate? Nope... The hipsters and 'be seen' crowd can keep it. If you prefer really beautiful aesthetics over value for money, this is your place. I will say that the sraff seemed very good, but $27 for battered fish and frozen fries? Ba-bowm. No deal
I'm guessing it's owned by the same mob that have overhauled the Corner upstairs...sadly

I had one of the steak options for main. But the entree of sliced meats was fab.
But you have to try the King fish starter. Wow, top drawer.

Best service, fantastic food! We celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary here for Sunday lunch. Our celebration was acknowledged & we were spoilt with a complimentary glass of champers. Cannot say enough nice things about this place!

If I could give zero stars I would. No bouncers on a Saturday night and holding a function full of under age teenagers out of control throwing alcohol off the balcony. Venue manager had a disgusting attitude holding no responsibility or care toward patrons. I don’t give reviews often but was just really shocked by how terrible the experience at this place was.

We had a small wedding reception at the town hall hotel, and can't thank them enough for making it perfect! The food was so tasty and beautifully plated we took pictures of everything before eating! The service was friendly and helpful. I can't fault it even if I tried. Thank you so much, all of us loved it!

Held a lunch event here for 13 people the other day in the upstairs private dining room. Staff were fabulous, food was generous and delicious, the space was perfect. Couldn't fault it and would highly recommend it to others. Thanks all at FTHH!

We found that the food & staff are what made our 3rd year wedding anniversary an absolute hit. The wife is a fussy eater & she couldn't stop raving about the quality that was served up & not to mention the 5 Espresso Martini's she had just topped off a memorable night.
The only let down is I can't give it a higher rating.
