Review Radhey Kitchen And Chai Bar - Fitzroy

Here’s a little collection of the feeds I get from here. As you can see, good variety and there’s way more to choose from in store. Food is extremely hearty and clean, it’s just some good, clean, cheap food nothing fancy. Very deserving of every star though as staff are always so nice, vibes are always nice and food doesn’t disappoint especially when it’s all vegan!! Completely heaven-scent.

Radhey Chai Bar is a small restaurant with various healthy vegetarian and vegan options. From my experience, the staff are extremely friendly and I believe the food was very tasty and flavoursome (I got curry with rice and salad and apple crumble). They also have burgers, wraps, chips, roti bread lasagna and desserts that one would typically expect to see at a cafe. This is one of my favourite restaurants and I would recommend it for people visiting or residing Fitzroy who like vegetarian or vegan food.

Delicious vego& vegan food. Big serves for very reasonable price. Highly recommend

Lovely staff! My favourite is the chai tea, which they prepare the spices on the spot! Love their vegan lasagna ($4,50) and the arancini ($4 only!) The “not so hungry” option is huuuge! Their salads are always fresh!

Food is pretty good, wholesome homemade. A tiny bit lacking in flavor however, ( salt and other flavorings ) But telly good otherwise. The lasagna is the best veg lasagna I’ve ever had!! Sooo delicious! The staff are all always lovely welcoming & accommodating. One little disappointment was the chai however. I got one of the hazelnut chais a while back but it was very watered down and flavorless unfortunately 😭

Such a beautiful place, great vegetarian and vegan food, an incredibly warm ambience. We had samosas and chai - both were excellent and authentic ❤

I am always searching for a great chai. Based on the writing on theurbanlist.com "Melbourne's Most OTT Chai Lattes", describing this cafe "the place has 'chai' in its name for gawd's sake, you know it's going to be good" so I checked the cafe's website and they claim "Our Chai Bar is something special, something Melbourne hasn't seen before..to be transported to a Moroccan marketplace or a Rajasthani tea stall.."..sounded so amazing and unique that I drove with my parents 30 km to experience their "great chai"!. I have never before written any reviews about any cafe, but their ayurvedic chai was such a huge disappointment: it was the blandest, weakest, lukewarm watery "beverage" we have ever had, served in some plain old cups. The cafe's website description is very misleading or the cafe has changed owners and they kept the original website.

Large servings of tasty food. The rice, curry and vegetables were wonderful. The samosa was too salty. Spinach and cheese pie was very salty too. Arancini was average. Price was reasonable.

Amazing food. Great tasty vegan dishes, amazing variety and interesting flavours and variations :) Lovely desserts and amazing choice of teas and chai... never to be missed if you are in or around Fitzroy for a quick bite:)

The food was amazing! We shared a chickpea and quinoa burger. We were going to decide on a 2nd dish to share after wards, but was a little disappointed that we weren't allowed a 2nd empty plate to make sharing easier. The burger was really big, too much for just one of us girls to eat on our own, and it wasn't nice eating off a napkin. No sharing is probably a silly policy.

Soooooo yum! Best curry, rice, salad and vegan cheesecake I've ever had! Thank you :)

Such great meals, and not too expensive, like anywhere else down the road. I can come here for peace and tranquilty and a cheap vegan meal :)

I hate to be one of those people that write a review on fb as I work in retail as well. But I just wanted to commend the beautiful staff that are always so friendly and hard working. However it's sad that they always seem to be understaffed! The poor guy who was working tonight was on his own and was working three jobs: making drinks, serving food and running kitchen orders with a function on upstairs at the same time! In such a peaceful and beautiful place it was really uncomfortable to watch him struggling, I just wanted to help! The food and drinks were delicious as always though :)

This place knocked my socks off. Not only was the menu entirely vegetarian, but it was completely vegan friendly!! The meals are very decently portioned, and the prices are so low!! Also loving the organic focus. I really wanted to try one of the chai smoothies but I was too stuffed with vegan meatballs to even dare! There's so much on the menu I want to try. I will definitely have to come back. If only I lived closer!!!

I Love radheys vegan options are good healthy and flavorsome! Never had bad meal or service decent price as well, addicted!!

Tasty, affordable food made and then blessed with love ❤️. Highly recommend it. The range is extensive and budget friendly. Be careful of the ticket inspectors if you are parked on Brunswick street 😍
Keshava Dasa
One of the best vegan/vegetarian restaurants I've eaten in in a long time!
Chris Fulkerson
The kids and I had some amazing chai and sweets. The atmosphere and prices were great. Can't wait to come back for dinner.

A gorgeous & tranquil little space serving delicious homemade chai and raw desert bar!
Courtney Hale Cassin
I love this place but was super sad today as there was only one staff member on and she told me it would be a 15 min wait until I could order a quick take away hot food which would have taken 2 minutes. I just hope next time there is more staff on in the busy periods . Still a 5 star as the food is awesome but today I couldn't get my fix

U know what....i fukin love a business that know it's food....i was impressed how i didn't have to ask a single thing. ...that'd when u know the workers pride the place they work in....recommendations were given , when I asked....I had the sub ...properly the best lentil patty I've had...As it was moist and not dry!!! I'd say close or over 90% was vegan!!! Desserts. ..where would one start...I had the date, and mu friend the sago!!! I will be frequenting this place a lot more. ..service was awesome! ! Thank you!!

Beautiful food, clean, cozy and friendly service. You gotta love it!

Lovely food and cosy setup! Their Bhakti burgers and the spring roll are the best.

Hi great food at a great price If you find an earring I've lost one the other one to this thanks silver and amethyst can't post pic here

Great little place with lots of different options. I went with the "Not so Hungry" meal and it has 2 curries, rice and a salad which was great value. The space was small so seating was limited but it would be ok if you came alone or with 1 other person in peak times. Definitely a great place to try if you are vego/vegan or love chai tea and raw treats.
Quince And Cheese
I love the tea, food and vegan sweets at Radhey. They provide great value for money. A step up from Crossways and Gopal's but very similar vibe. If you order a drink, go for the cinamon or turmeric chai which are slightly more interesting (but not more expensive) than the standard blend and pair wonderfully with a vegan cheesecake. I love the vegan platter which leaves me super full and contains a good variety of dishes (plus a nice semolina and date dessert). My coconut korma was more spicy than it was flavourful, making it a bit tough to stomach. But everything else (tomato koftas, chickpea salad and sweet potato salad, topped with tahini) were great. Also love that there's complimentary mango pickles on every table. A great cheap eats destination if you're in the area.

Wholesome is the word that applied to this spot.
In the heart of the utmost of pretension hubs this wonderfully quaint kitchen exists serving up real hearty delicious food.
Ample servings in a relaxed, simple environment.
Not in a rush? This is perfect.
Chill out and read and unwind for a bit here.

Indian restaurants in Melbourne are more often than not a disappointment.

I have refrained from reviewing most Indian restaurants as I did not want to come across as cribbing, that said I almost feel Indians are letting down the Indian food in Melbourne.

This restaurant have redeemed Indians of this review.
This is by far the most amazing restaurant that I came across walking on the road and I'm extremely pleasantly surprised with the food quality presentation and the service.

It's a must go and I'm happy that I'm finally giving 5 stars to an Indian restaurant.
Shant
Food is average, had the plate with 2 curries and salad. Added a lentil stew, it was under seasoned. And was surprised that an additional serve of vege koftas, which is a serve of 2 super tiny (and dry) vege balls, is priced at $5. It was not value for money.
Bhender92
Food was good value for money but just OK. However the experience was ruined by the terrible service. I ordered a wrap which had to be made out the back. Waited 20 minutes for the wrap, only for the person serving to take my wrap to another table and serve me the wrong one. By the time I realised there was a queue out the door and with only one person serving i didn’t want to have to wait another 20+ minutes to get the correct meal. Probably needs some more staff during the lunch rush hour.
Rebecca Bouten
Quaint little cafe with cheap, wholesome food. The chai latte/teas are their specialty and I highly recommend getting the vanilla flavoured one. They offer vegan and vegetarian food mainly, however I did not get a chance to try these but I will be back to in the future
Fiona
Hearty vegan food, they do sandwiches and desserts etc too but I only go for the hot food. Personally I like the $10 plate which is rice with 2 curries (often not just Indian but middle eastern tagines/stews on offer too) and a salad (usually 4 on rotation).

As the others have said the food isn't super fancy, it's a cheap tasty and healthy meal in a casual setting with lovely staff.

If you’ve ever been to gopals this place is like it!!! I got the chickpea curry with the slaw and sweet potato salad. Super cheap and relaxed atmosphere, food is nice, simple and tasty, nothing I would necessarily “rave” about but definitely a homey feel to it, and for this price can’t fault! Nice place if you want to get away from the large crowds in a quaint dining space.
Caroline Beaney
A really surprising place! Lots of good food options. I loved the vegetarian lasagna and it’s so cheap at $6.50! Would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for cheap vegetarian or vegan food!
Rockyshah119
Wow, what a place to be. Feels so relax with music and ambience. Food is so good , love the dal rice and smoothie. This place will help me to be 100% vegan

Love this little & quiet yet underrated cafe/restaurant! Such delicious & affordable meals with plenty of vegan friendly options- their Samosas, Rice balls, salads & curries are all delicious and super tasty but not spicy (which is a plus if you are like me & hate chilli!) I highly recommend this place for a satisfying lunch or light dinner- the atmosphere is also very calming & peaceful & their raw mango cheesecake is a delight (best raw dessert I’ve even put in my mouth!) The only thing I don’t like so much is that their dishes are often no longer hot but just warmish once you are seated however it is still always a very lovely dining experience!

I'm not sure I can give a fair review since I didn't have any chai and I really do like chai. But I didn't like the attitude here and I'm a sensitive soul who doesn't want to eat somewhere where my presence is such a clear burden. And these heavy, chocolate slices were a bit rubbish too.

Absolutely delicious tofu vegie coconut curry w rice for less than $10! So quiet in here; lovely reggae and hare krishna music playing (not at the same time).

Gorgeous warm woman served me with a smile.

All the main meals and sweets looked delicious and again rapt with the price and always happy finding good vegetarian fare!

Seating inside for about 20 peeps with 6 outside under cover.

At Radhey you can do a yoga class and get a vegan meal for $15. They have 2 classes every weekday. On weekends they told me they have an Italian and a Spanish class. Pretty good value I thought so I tried it out on a night that my partner was away. Service was friendly but a bit slow because there was only one person behind the counter. Yoga was nice and I loved going down afterwards and getting a nourishing and healthy yogi bowl. You don't get to choose and thd food was maybe not amazing. But the whole experience was very fullfilling and I would definitely do it again!

I love this place! We always get the tandoori burger (from the menu) and it's delicious! The food is very healthy and the cakes never disappoint.
Caitlin Monnery
I had the satay vegetable curry and brown rice arachini ball which had an amazing tomato Napoli sauce, both were delicious. The whole menu looked fantastic and the set up is really great, you pay for how many different dishes you want which are in a hot cabinet. There is also salads and cakes, etc. most of the food is vegan and gluten free, and very affordable. Can't wait to go back.

Echoing some of the other feedback, whilst the food at Radhey Kitchen and Chai Bar is good, it can taste a bit dry. I went with two options for $10.80 with a side of rice for $2.50. My two choices were the vegetable green curry and the baked potato. A topping of a tomato-based sauce was offered on the potato dish, which might have helped as it tasted a bit bland by itself. It’s healthy and more guilt free, but some creamier or richer components would have helped to elevate the dish.

I did enjoy the curry and although the flavours weren’t quite proper thai green curry, it was worthwhile. The basmati also was on the dry side, so that curry sauce certainly came in handy. Service at the Radhey Kitchen and Chai bar was fair, and there’s a lot of charm about the place with hare krishna posters and the like. Fresh and fast soul food is their motto and it delivered to that mostly.
Let Laura Eat
Been here for a late night Chai which was really flavorsome & a raw vegan dessert- which was really rich, but perfect to share. Would like to come back to try some lunch/dinner here.

Enjoyed lunch here. The arancini ball was particularly flavourful and delicious! Quite surprising.

Would like a little more tomato paste and sauce in/with the moussaka. Didn't have any drinks. Staff fine, not amazing. Price reasonable. Would return :)

This place is okay. It's reasonably cheap food, but being served from a bain marie means it's a little dry at times. I've always found the service a little aloof. You can get two choices of food for around $10 or one for $6. The chai's on the pricey side at around $5, but it's overall not bad value. Heaters outside during winter would be appreciated.

Delicious, warming, healthy food on a cold day. Cheery service and great price. Wish we lived in Melbourne to come back more often! We loved it
Always Hungry
Very yummy and good prices there. Quality food! Veggie Lasagna was perfect and their salads are quite nice too. Fresh, delicious, healthy. Also no onion or garlic used while cooking.
Ali Vego
I really enjoyed this place super delicious vego and vegan food at a really great price! Everything was really tasty 😊 They also have a nice selection of teas and a really cool vibe.

The usual shabby chic fit out more often seen in the Brunswick eclectic set over the urban style of the inner city. With cushions and mismatched furniture abound, feeling comfortable isn't a stretch.

With a vast drink option be it cold or hot and the hot box with steaming choices ready to be consumed on a whim you will have choice a plenty.

On this occasion I opted for the veggie kofta balls served with a very thin viscosity tomato relish. Although I will concede that the 'relish' resembled more soup over the usual chunky variety. 3 per serve.

Unfortunately I found these excessively dry, more relish was desperately required. It was a pleasantly flavoured dish, but the overwhelming dryness really compromised the enjoyment.

Thankfully, the lemon and lime iced tea was a standout of the meal being neither too tart nor too sweet and provided the refreshment my mouth so desperately craved.

My companion ordered the curries of the day, one was chickpea, the other? A potato, pumpkin wonderland of mystery. Added rice ($2 extra) although the rice serving was considered small. Flavour was lacking in this choice and although it was finished, really for how colourful and vibrant the curries looked, the let down was in the taste. There simply was so very little that the rice was at risk of appearing to be the overwhelming aspect of the meal - never a good sign.
Eat Like Ushi
On Christmas morning I was surprised so many cafes and restaurants remained open. When I say so many, that really wasn't many at all, but given the day I expected almost complete shutdown. After a night of excessive ham and celebratory meats, the mood was for vegetarian to give much needed assistance to digestion.
Bianca Roberts
Had the "vegan day out" special here. $10 for two curries, rice and salad. Servings were generous and it was certainly a filling lunch. Service was friendly but a little erratic ans the venue is a little ramshackle, but nonethless this place is great for if you need a quick and filling vg meal.

I am not a vegetarian/vegan by any means, but with food like this I could easily change!

I had two different curries and a decent sized samosa, with a soy chai latte. They were all delicious!

I will definitely be coming back to try all the other great looking food.

Love the set up and the staff are very personable. I highly recommend it.

Decided to check out the Chai given it's clearly advertised as a chai bar. Did I set my expectations too high?
Atmosphere was Brunswick St "not all the chairs match" style with a great selection of cakes and sweets in the display.
Opted for a iced chai made with regular milk. For me the chai tasted like it wasn't brewed long enough. The flavour really lacked depth.
Added to this was it had quite a watery consistency. I am quite used to the use to my home made chai with heated milk and the leaves... This serving, while adequate, I don't think it's a match to other chai offerings available on Brunswick st.
That said I'm happy to return to give their chai latte as try.

Unfriendly staff and poor quality food. I've picked up lunch from here twice, the first time I went away thinking I would not return. But after exhausting my list of places to eat near my work I came back - I shouldn't have. The staff member hand picked the 3 oldest and driest koftas from the bain-marie, ignoring the slightly fresher ones available. I didn't notice until I'd handed over my cash. They should have been thrown out, they were almost black. The tofu satay was completely boring. Overpriced rubbish, you don't have to look far to find much better vegitarian/vegan - skip it!

Wonderful food, great cosy ambiance and service with a smile. I googled Vegan whilst on Brunswick St and we decided to try something new. Glad we did!

Order was mucked up a few times resulting in a long wait. Received complimentary cake though which was delicious. Had the lasagna, very filling and decent price. Iced chai wasn't amazing. Place had a nice, homely feel however and will give it a go again! Great variety on the menu.

Stopped in today to give Radhey a try and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful teas, an affordable and varied menu, and delicious food. I will definitely be returning.
Omirl
Came here on a whim. Food was great, though second serving of rice asked for with Green Curry. Also had the Shepard's Pie. Service was friendly, fast and unobtrusive. Candles and little flora on the tables was a nice touch and the music was at an atmospheric level.

I stumbled upon this place whilst strolling the streets of Fitzroy on a freezing cold day looking for something to warm me up. Unfortunately I'd already eaten so I couldn't try anything from what seems to be quite a good looking food menu. I did however, grab a chai-cino (made with real chai, hoorah) with almond milk (I had about 5 milk options) and a raw cheesecake which were both lovely, rich and filling.
Kimmy_desu
Popped in for tea this afternoon and really enjoyed the organic teas. There's a variety of options to choose from, and the tastes are not strong but very refreshing. Their food also looks good! We already had lunch beforehand but otherwise we would've gladly ate there as well. They also have all-day $10 lunch specials! Wow~ definitely going back for that ;)
S.senguts
Yummy and wholesome. Came for lunch on the weekend and really enjoyed our meals - the vegan meatballs (these were not made with mock meat, they were more like koftas) were our favourite and came with a delicious spicy tomato sauce, and we also loved our burgers and wraps.
Very delicious chai-cino also and friendly service. Great place for a simple casual lunch or dinner.
Fred Rick
Bad food, poor servings. It's a shame the owner is so nice. The food has slowly been going down hill since it has opened. Every time I go the food is worse and the portions are smaller. I want to like it because the owner is so nice but I think my days here are done. The food is just very disappointing
TY
Skip the Indian food and maybe try the other items. I had "Curry of the Day", vegetable & tofu korma. It was dull and felt dialed down. Considering the chef was Indian, I expected better especially for the price charged. The highlight was the basmati rice. So fluffy and loose.

I had better curries elsewhere, I would definitely recommend going to an Indian restaurant instead.
Simfy004
Beautiful!. Lovely staff, beautiful food. I love those wraps!
Antony.brennan
Great place. We had chips, spring rolls, spaghetti and meatballs, meatball sub, focaccia, tandoori tofu wrap and more. It was a party. The friendly, helpful staff were the icing on the cake of a great evening. I'm putting this place on my list.
KatCdesign
The Best Vegetarian at Radhey Melbourne. Radhey has the tastiest Vegetarian food .
When I was in Melbourne for 3 days I returned twice ,once for lunch menu and once for dinner menu.
That says it all.
I had a a lentil style lasagna with mashed potatoes for dinner and it was layered . Really yummy.
As well on both occasions I had their dessert. Wow!
Staff very friendly and ambience relaxing which I was looking for after a hectic work day. Will definitely return.
Cordelia Rose
Have you ever known a place to charge $15 for a takeaway salad? Me neither. It seems this place is all talk and no real ethics to try and charge $15 for a salad. I ate there once and thought it was ok but after they tried to charge me that for a TINY plastic container of salad I will never return. Don't bother.
Ian
It's food for the soul , in a bubbly but gentle environment. Highly highly.
Lucy.duvnjak
Deliciously amazing. The food is not only absolutely delicious, but it looks amazing and is so much better for you. Organic, Vegan and Gluten free, it's a great choice for people with personal preferences or even those who have intolerances and find it hard to find a good, tasty restaurant that caters to them. I've already planned my next visit! The staff are also very friendly and provide a great down to earth service which helps create a fantastic environment to be in when eating your meal.

Keep up the great work!
Maz
Love this place. Cannot fault anything. Been here three times in about a month it's so yummy..the all day $10 menu is a bargain and definately makes me wonder if I should pop in today, or tomorrow...basically all the time! The two friends I've taken love the place. Luckily my work is nearby so I can tuck in often! The food is always delicious and my coeliac friend has no issues with having something, even though there aren't a lot of dishes (but just enough). I had an iced chai last time it was delicious and not syrupy sweet like others I've had thank goodness.
Looking forward to trying a tasty dessert one day!
Ruby.lovelock
Delicious Food. Ate there last night, we sat out the back in the little courtyard area near the laneway. Great atmosphere. Had the best tofu burger I've ever eaten and all the food was delicious. Caters well for people with dietary restrictions (I can't eat onion or garlic, for example). Great value for money.
Arnieb
Great food, great atmosphere. I tried the creamy kale pesto pasta dish and was more than satisfied with the taste and portion size. Will definitely come back and try out the rest of the menu!

A Haven in Brunswick St. Had a big bowl of mixed vegan salads and some yummy chai. Lovely staff, super tasty food and a beautiful relaxed atmosphere.
Melburnianlaura
Nice place for casual vegan din dins. Great salad. Lasagne was OK but a bit heavy on the spices. I liked the service but you did have to order at the counter. Could be a bit awkward for a first date? My non-vegan boyfriend really liked it. Very reasonably priced food as well.
Sridhi
Delicious food and a great atmosphere. Nice variety of dishes and amazing chai and deserts. By far the best vegetarian/vegan place in Melbourne!

Beautiful experiences. This place is really peaceful inside. there's just a hint of something as one walks past the frontage on the sidewalk. something attractive and alluring. and as one steps through the doors, one becomes enveloped with a variety of sensual stimulus; smells, sounds, the subtle glow coming from the assortment of goodies in the cake fridge, even the smiles of the warm, friendly staff.
Radhey (pronounced: rAd-hey)Chai Bar is a vegetarian restaurant that serves predominantly vegan fare, largely due to the large number of vegans patrolling the area. Although their menu caters to vegans, their food preparations are appealing to vegetarians and non-vegatarians alike. they have a good selection on the menu including, burgers, pasta, curries and salads. and they also seem to be expanding their menu, in addition to rotating it. I was told by the staff that stirfry dishes will soon be added.
as they have just opened a few weeks ago , they are still not as busy as their more mature counterparts like yong's and vegie Bar. but be warned folks! as more people find out the affordable, tasty and nutritious food they can procure here, this place may be packed out. Fortunately the venue has extra seating upstairs big enough to host a medium sized group. very impressed with this place.

regular at the radhey Chai Bar.

Great new place for vegan eats!. Been there many times since it opened (lucky enough to work nearby!). Highly recommended. Very good soy chai, excellent mains and salads.... I once had the shepherds pie for main, then again for dessert!

The long awaited.... My friends and I had been waiting for this place to open for more than awhile. The little hints of goodies to come from the 'raw', 'vegan' and 'hare krishna' signs fronting the street from the otherwise concealed interior whetted our appetites to be the first ones in the door.

Radhey has stepped into the spotlight of Australia's number 1 vegetarian/vegan district and doesn't disappoint. With a healthy and wholesome spin on some Hare Krishna classics, a great theme, relaxed and helpful staff, great chai, superb burgers and deals that don't disappoint, this is one place you'll want to keep on your Fitzroy radar.

Like Brunswick Street itself, Radhey has been evolving in the first few weeks of its existence. This is a great time to get in and try lots of new creations.

If you're a vego and/or keen to have a healthy and surprisingly good value meal near the city, check out Radhey. You will be pleasantly surprised at the offerings of this friendly little kitchen.

Top Vegetarian Places in Melbourne. I was a little trepidated of this place when it was opened, as any Hare Krishna food outlet will give inevitable memories of the 'curry for the masses' ethos of Crossways, Om and (to a lesser extent) Gopals.

However, no only does Radhey's eclipse any of its counterparts, it just about eclipses most other vegetarian places in Melbourne. There is refreshingly little in the way of mock meat and faux Mexican, and plenty of home cooking, well spiced, not to salty and sweet, and very healthy.

I've been twice, first time to have a lasagne and coleslaw with tahini dressing. The salad was crunchy and delicious and the lasagne full tasting and well textured, keeping it held together well (as opposed to lasagne at Vege2go which is drowning in sauce and the one at Caterpillar's Dream which is a gloopy mess). The second time involved a Sweet Potato and lentil Shepherd's pie with fries and a side salad of teriyaki broccoli and soy chunks. Whilst the soy chunks themselves were a bit cheap meh, the main itself was stunning, quite high in spice which was surprise but great for me. I also had had a desert, mango sago pudding, and a rooibos chai with oat milk, both of which were also stunning and not too sweet.

I've seen others have the burgers, and whilst looking wholesome I think the mains are a better deal.

The staff are friendly and engaging, the ambience plain but homely (with a nice upstairs area), they have a great salad and desert range (raw and otherwise) and a range of non-caffeinated beverages with a refreshing range of non dairy milks.

Lovely friendly service. Our waiter had a good chat to my son, explained all the dessert options to him and really made his night. My partner said it was the best vegan burger he has ever had. I loved my chai and salad. I'll be back!

Visited this place last night for the first time....One thing I love about a business...is when the staff r well informed...I loved the fact that straight away the 2 gents, knew what's vegan. Their recommendations were spot on. I had the lentil sub, the lentil patty was moist and full of flavors, the salad, I think needed more tahini sauce, but was crunchy and fresh. My friend had the lasagne with vegan cheese...was amazing. ..deserts, we had the sago, and the date one...again, was good. ..The chai was perfect...All I can say, friendly knowledgeable staff, food excellent, and prices reasonably priced! !! Worth a try! !

Yay chai bar!. Just what I've been looking for. Delicious chai and tea blends. The forest fruits tea smelled, looked and tasted gorgeous. Yummy, filling food too. Can't wait to go back for more chai, and to try the tasty looking desserts!
Katie K
Great veggie and vegan food!. Tasty , filling vegetarian food with vegan options. Friendly staff and good service. I had the pakora entree and tofu and rice dish and both were absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try more....
Gingerbreadgirl
Nice food and lovely staff, but the constant Hare Krishna music (basically the same song on repeat, it seemed) drove us a bit crazy. We had a korma and lasagne and they were both very nice. A wider variety of food and cold drinks would be even better.
Rpcool
Unbelievably delicious food. The food was extremely delicious and the ambience is beautiful. You will not miss meat at all! Not just for vegetarians and vegans. The Banana and date Mousse was the best I have had and their chai has a subtle and intoxicating flavor.
Shweta Shetty
Delicious and high quality vegan food that is served in a peaceful, relaxing and spiritual ambience. Worth a visit for their out-of-this-world burgers and desserts and of course innovative tea.
Moppetage
Best Chai ever! (and pretty dang good food too). Hard to believe they've only been running a week.. I'm always a bit nervous when my vegan friend suggests we try a new vego or vegan restaurant for dinner.... i'm not big on many of the vegan mainstays and don't want to sit there hungry picking at my fake meat and legume whatever.
Not so at Radhey- the best chai tea i've had in years, will go again for that alone. I didn't miss meat in the least with their vegan burger with the softest bun and creamy vegan mayo, their chips were crunchy and fluffy at the same time, the pecan and date pie decadent and their spring rolls fresh and crunchy and could have only been bettered by some iceberg lettuce leaves to wrap in. Highly recommended, and not just for those who require Vegan fare.
