Beautiful ambience with an amazing variety of vegan food. Its not easy to accomplish vegan Italian food but these guys did a pretty good jobđđť
Friendly service too
Will be back for suređ
Lovely experience here tonite with the girls. We started off with cauliflower florets and sun dried tomato arancini. Both were delish and with very little oil. For drinks we ordered hibiscus kombucha, sparkling wine and mimosa. For mains, we ordered pappardelle, saffron creamed rice and sweet potato gnocchi. All meals were really nice and stood out especially in terms of flavours. They werenât your usual flavours, but rather soft and unique. I think this establishment is doing a great job with its menu being vegan and mostly gluten free. Keep up the good work!

When youâre meeting up with a group and thereâs someone thatâs vegan, we thought we would cater to them and check out a vegan restaurant so they can pick whatever they want to eat. On Nicholson street sits a quiet vegan eatery called Billy and Lucy. Billy and Lucy, on the outside it looks old and humble but inside, itâs cosy with fireplaces and very welcoming. The staff are so friendly and so accommodating that you feel like youâre at home.
My absolute favorite plant based restaurant, so glad they are in Melbourne. The food is sooooooo delicious! The flavors and presentation are sophisticated. Absolutely love the food. We never got to try the pizzas, but looks like they are off the menu now. My favorites are parpadelle, pumpkin dish, snickers bar and citrus tart đ
Food was great, fresh produce, lovely flavours and all washed down by a delicious bottle of organic Savi B! Friendly staff, very attentive, will definitely come back!
I went to Billy and Lucy's for my 21st and had the most lovely experience! I think the customer service there might have been the best I've ever seen and they were all very friendly and accomodating, especially as someone who has allergies and who had 9 people at the table in total for the occasion.Â
The place itself is very quaint and quiet, which made for a very unique experience. I had the croquettes, cauliflower, and the sweet potato gnocchi and the food was absolutely delicious. (100% would recommend the gnocchi, very fluffy and filling). My friends had also secretly planned to bring out a slice of cake with some candles on it while singing happy birthday, which the staff at the restaurant were very happy to organise so I think that goes to show how great the staff are :) definitely worth the visit! Made my 21st enjoyable and memorable, thanks Billy and Lucy's.
My wife and I have been for dinner a few times now and we love the flavour of the food especially and the setting. We are not vegan but we dine here because of the unique menu and we highly recommend Lucy & Billy to all diners for quality and service. The reviews speak for themselves.
I went to Billy & Lucy and I had a 30% off food Dimmi deal. The restaurant was quiet, and the venue was beautiful. What a nice house this restaurant would have made!
Pizza doesnât seem to be on the dinner menu.
The staff were very friendly, chatty and didnât mind that our friends were running late. The staff are an asset to this place!
The sides we ordered were the arancini balls and southern style cauliflower. I preferred the southern style cauliflower. Very tasty and loved the garlic aioli. The arancini balls were huge and I appreciate that the chef put an extra one on our plate so all 4 of us could try them.
My friends enjoyed their meals as well. Me, I wasnât thinking when I ordered.... I got the mushroom and fig ravioli. I thought wow, this would be interesting and I had no idea what it would taste like. I think my mind went blank! When I got it I was shocked to see that the ravioli was black! Thatâs pretty cool and Instagram worthy! I felt there wasnât enough filling in my ravioli and the dish was too sweet for a dinner meal. And then I realised why! Itâs because it is fig of course đ mushroom doesnât have the strongest taste so of course the fig would overpower it. It certainly is an unusual dish so worth trying anyway. Plus unlike most venues, Billy and Lucy have generous servings of ravioli!
Plus I thought it was sweet that the manager offered a towel when my friends walked in soaking wet. Very kind!
We live in Fitzroy and have only just discovered this place. Service is personalised and warm, the place is lovely and menu is inventive and contemporary as described. We had potato croquettes for an entree then delicious charcoal and fig ravioli and creamy polenta and eggplant with chickpeas for dinner. Everything was fresh and the each plate had great varied flavour. Highly recommend for those who are vegan, veg or not.
A really lovely location and venue. The food has been great - we tried roasted cauliflower, creamed rice and snickers bar dessert. Service was friendly and attentive. Recommended even if you are not vegan.
