Small restaurant with an intimate, quiet ambience, great for a chill dinner.
Highlights were the gnocchi, pizza, polenta chips, aranchini balls.
The mojito was a huge highlight for here, if you’re planning to drink I definitely recommend this!
Overall very high quality pizza and pasta; I would return!

Even though they made a mistake with our order, which wasn't a great start, but then the food, flavours and presentation quickly served to us put the minor setback aside and we enjoyed a very pleasant meal with a few freebies added bonus for their error....
LITTLE negative..... had a very yummy salad and requested a little protein (in particular chicken) added to the salad... was happy to pay extra but was told the restaurant doesn't serve chicken which I thought was a little odd... not a fan of red meat so went without... still delicious salad but would have been sensential with chicken!
Anyway back to the positives, friendly staff, prompt service and great clean rustic decor. Look forward to returning soon!
My friend brought me there as I was on a business trip in Melbourne for a couple of days. The menu is quite diverse, food is delicious and we had the warmest welcome from the waitress and the chef. Definitely recommending it if you're craving for italian food :)

You've got to love this place, great pizza and pasta. I loved it to bits, the staff were very friendly and the service was pretty quick. Not only pizza and pasta, but they also do great other foods, like calamari and salads etc. It's a complete must.
Wowee. Farro Pizza is one of the best I have ever had. Thin base pizza and tasty pasta. Staff are always friendly and food is brought out in a timely matter. Staff are more than happy to make alterations on pizza’s. Recommend booking a table as it’s always quite busy at dinner time!
Melbourne is known for incredible pasta, and Farro is a restaurant that contributes to that reputation immensely! I might be in a bit of a pasta phase at the moment, but this was the best seafood pasta I've had in a while! With a crystal clear and delicious seafood flavour that comes from the battargo, I’ll be a regular here from now on 🙌
Beautiful night in Melbourne so sat outside in eclectic Brunswick street Fitzroy - very friendly and attentive young lady served us. Great menu choices from starters to pasta and of course pizza. Also a separate vegan menu which was impressive. We ordered a paesana pizza and fungi and pancetta pizza and rocket salad👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 it was all delicious! Pizza dough was superb!!! Highly recommend.

We visited this fabulous Italian restaurant in the heart of Fitzroy which has a gorgeous interior and seating outside along Brunswick street. We were served by a lovely lady who was friendly and welcoming. We ordered a range of delicious items from the menu such as calamari, polenta chips, arancini balls, tumeric gnocchi and prosciutto Pizza! Highly recommend visiting this wonderful venue!

Farro has always been one of my favourite pizza places, so it was good news to hear they were opening a second location in Fitzroy, which is closer to home.
Absolutely delicious food!! I can't stress enough how much I love their pizzas ❤❤ spelt is good for you so spelt pizzas are feel good and good for you all together! The guys that run the place are friendly and attentive and awesome! Can't resist coming here at least once a week 😍
I love this place. Tuesday is a great deal on pizza or pasta with wine or beer for $20. Bargain. But I can’t go past an aperol spritz for starters. Pizza is really good I haven’t had a bad one and lots of options. Good menu options. Smaller area with dining available out front. Would recommend.
Really 4.5 as this place was awesome. I love that they have a vegan menu option as well. Perfect if you’re dining with vegan and non-vegans friends/family. Service is very attentive but the place has a relaxed homely feel.
We shared the polenta chips first which were crunchy on the outside, perfect.
We then each had a pizza.
I had the Patate e Tartufo which was so delicious. The Tarufo added the richness, the pancetta was salty and delicious and the cheese added that something special. The base was puffy on the crust with a thin centre, just how it’s meant to be.
My cousin had a vegan Funghi pizza and was really impressed. This speaks volumes for the quality of their food.
We all loved our meals. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!!
It's always a dangerous premise taking an Italian family to pizza, but thankfully Farro got a big thumbs up from la famiglia. Even the tiramisu was met with approval 👍
The pizzas are reasonably priced, cooked well and topped generously. To top it off, the service was attentive (without being overbearing) and warm. I'd gladly return.
This place was absolutely beautiful! Came here on a Wednesday with friends and it was perfect. The restaurant itself is cosy. I expect it gets busy there quite easily. Wednesdays you can opt for the $20 deal, where you can choose any pizza (including the vegan options!) with a wine/beer or soft drink. Not only was it good value for money but the pizza was delicious! Base was crispy and fluffy, toppings were fresh. Delicious and plenty of it! Service was super friendly, especially from our waitress. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back at all!

Absolutely delicious squid inc pasta! So much flavour and the seafood was cooked perfectly and there was an adequate amount. Service was good, the waiter was helpful. Must come back to try their pizza.
I’ve been past the window many times. Tonight I decided to try it out. I wasn’t disappointed. I had the lamb ragu and it was perfect. The right texture of the pasta for me and the right amount of lamb and sauce. The service is attentive and welcoming. Definitely coming back with colleagues and friends.

The dough is light, and soo tasty - It does not makes you feel "super heavy" at the end of the meal - It's also the First time I really enjoy a Vegan Pizza !! -I Highly Recommend this Place !

Visited Farro for the second time tonight. I tried the vegan capricciosa which I regretted once I saw the shaved brussel sprout special! Ah well.. The pizza wasn't bad- although I have never had a "real" capriciossa, so I have no point of comparison. The cheese was good, base nice and soft, but I think it could have used a bit more sauce and/or spice (as the spots without olive or artichoke were a little bland). I kept wishing I had marinara or balsamic to dip it in. I can't really complain though, considering I used at EatClub promo, which set me back a mere $13. What a steal!
Finally great spelt pizza in the heart of Fitzroy. I've always loved Farro in thornbury, & was so excited it also opened up in the inner north. You couldn't tell that there was no wood fire pizza oven, in fact - maybe the pizza is more evenly cooked. Great "mouth feel" (Brooklyn 99), beautiful quality ingredients & the salad & wine were perfect & well priced. The music was a bit loud is my only complaint.
Recently opened Farro has truly established themselves as maestros of the Fitzroy pizza scene. If you are looking for quality pizzas of the gourmet kind, this pizzeria should be at the top of your list.
Very nice restaurant for having lunch or dinner. Best pizza I've ever had so far in Mel, great service ,cozy setting. Love the seats by window, gives the amazing street view while dining. Farro will definitely be a regular visit in my list.

Authentic Italian pizzas are no doubt a work of art, one that proves to be incredibly difficult to pull off and execute perfectly. The newly established Farro Pizza in Fitzroy certainly gave it their best shot at mastering the art of Neapolitan Pizza-making.
While the overall experience today was a bit of a hit and miss, boy do they absolutely nail it when everything comes together just so, like those incredible Polenta Chips and our modified Porcini e Prosciutto Pizza!

My wife and I recently had dinner at Farro Fitzroy not long after they opened. The pizzas were delicious! Very fresh ingredients and great quality. Staff were super friendly and always readily available. We really enjoyed the family vibe of the restaurant while still being able to enjoy the nightlife atmosphere of Brunswick St. Have already been back since and will go again! Keep up the good work.

Farro Pizzeria & Cucina has opened up in Fitzroy after the success of Pizza Farro in Thornbury. The World Loves Melbourne was invited to experience the joys of Farro Pizzeria & Cucina on a fine Sunday afternoon. For a start the staff are warm and engaging and enthusiastic about the restaurant. We perused the beverages menu but for me a beer is a great match with pizza, especially an Italian beer with Italian style pizza.
Went in on Friday night with partner for a couple of pizzas with drinks. We got good, friendly service along with good pizza so we will be back. Brunswick street has been missing somewhere to get traditional pizza for a long time so good to have the option. $90 for 2 pizza, 4 beers and a shared antipasta is reasonable for the area and in line with what i would expect to pay.
Pretty delicious I say. This place uses excellent produce and has nailed the pizza base, producing pretty yummy pizzas. Up side- A couple of incarnations after Don Vincenzo closed shop, and this place filled the pizza gap in the market. They’ve made the place seem rustic and feel- good, the waitresses are lovely and the food is great quality, decent size and tasty. Downside- they need to bring the price down about 5 dollars a pizza and they’d turn over many more pizzas, especially with the locals. Drinks prices are about average for the area at dinner.
Overall, would definitely go there again for food quality but would think twice occasionally due to the price.
Farro is all about rustic Italian food, cooked simply with a focus on high quality produce that’s organic where possible. There’s no shortage of Italian restaurants in Melbourne but Farro does a few things differently to stand out from the crowd.
